hi everyone, A colleague of mine is purchasing an Ambiente, Silver car, has a malay previous owner. Tested the car, and found out that driving at 100 kmh, the ambiente is showing 3000 rpm where my classic is at 2500 rpm. Guess it is due to the gear ratio, however, like to confirm. Ivan

Hi all, Just got the august issue of torque magazine and they did a comparison between the octavia, elantra and corolla. Very good article and the octavia came up holding it's own pretty well except for the performance aspect. -

Has anyone noticed that someone has advertised two (2) units of Skoda Octavia Ambiente in the Straits Times classified on Saturday and Sunday? The advert claimed it to be a "Bora" lookalike.
