Here's some pic to document my car's air intake from one Lock&Lock box to another. Reason for the change is i feel that 1 CAI pipe is no supplying enough air to the cone filter (and I'm HRF club Premium member). So here goes... My original setup.

The mods have begun.... First off, ARC Airbox! Same or slightly better low end torque, much better mid to high end rev! Has a low humming sound at idle, and a very sporting growl when beyond 3K rpm. IMO, well worth the upgrade. Air intake at side and rear: And a minor mod: G Speed pedals

Hi Bros Where can i get someone to fabricate a carbon fibre or normal fibre glass airbox. I would like to house an apexi in there but at the same time keep the cone in a relatively "cold" air environment. I believe the heat shields on open pods on not very helpful so I guess this may be a better alternative. Where in JB can I see the mugen replica airbox ? They may be able to get one made for me. Thanks -
i found out yesterday that there seems to be a missing connection (prolly some kind of tube) betwwen the cam cover and the airbox of the carburatted engine in my 73 celica...... went to part shops and was told they don't keep stock for 73 model no more any bro here know what sort of substitue pipe/tube i should use? the position of the outgoing(male) hole from the cam cover and incoming(female) hole into the airbox is very oddly placed such that when i tried using a normal 15mm dia reinforced garden hose the curvature is too sharp to connect the two holes??? i need help btw, i actually have been driving the car since i bought the car 3 years ago and the engine runs ok..... should i really bother with this missing connection now? "if it ain't broke, dunt fix it"????
