  2. Anti-Bardahl Asia Pacific I'm a business man also a victim for selling Bardahl Asia Pacific' s Products, in the past 10 years my company have trading with Bardahl Asia Pacific (BAP). Till now, I have found out something strange and make me feel sad about doing business with BAP. Everyone need to know about it and be careful. First off, BAP's Products and sales service is bad. We have some oil burning issues with a lot of car and they just push all the responsibility to us. they said that the oil burning problem only happen in our place we need to figure it out by ourselves. secondly, we hear the conversation between BAP and different suppliers. BAP sent out a low-price quote to every suppliers and ask them to produce what BAP need with the suppliers standard. That's mean the only standard is cost. Moreover, they are not the real Bardahl branch in Asia and owned by Bardahl Mfg. Co.(BMC) as they told everyone. BAP just an agent under Eric H. Fletcher (another agent appointed by BMC). Please let me to explain to everyone below. In 2015, Bardahl India(http://www.elvibardahl.com/) independent from BAP. I feel a bit weird about how can a distributor go deal with the headquarter and kick BAP out. They should be in the same system and no conflict. Thus, I go to check on the website and did a company search about BAP. In the report, we saw BAP capital is only Singapore Dollar 50K and without any investment from BMC. BAP Shareholders is all individual with ID no. that mean BAP and BMC is not the real relationship as they said. (See Below) BAP have not own any oil factory or warehouse in Singapore, BAP is a trading company only and they trade with everyone without principles. BAP have not got the right to produce oil and additives, they can do trade with imports, exports and local sales only. (See Below) And we did another company search for BMC. We can only see there is a person call Eric Nicolaysen, the COO in BMC. Eric H.Fletcher said he is the the managing director have not showed anywhere in the report, he is cheating us. BMCs' division showed in the report is OCD Nederland B.V.(Bardahl Euro). That's mean BAP is also laying to everyone about they are BMC division and owned by BMC. BAP is not the one they said. BAP and Eric H.Fletcher cheat everyone in Asia. They can cheat everyone for a while but they can't cheat us forever. It is too late for me to knew this fact. My sales manager has betrayed me and take everything from the company to join BAP. BAP have contact my sales manager to offer him a better salary to take over everything. After everything they have done to me and BAP sent me a message that their business principles is 'I want everything from you.' Everyone who dealing with BAP, they will take all your investment in Bardahl. BAP is a trading company only. And they do not sign any contract with everyone, even they have sign something. They will overthrow what they sign and make a lot of argue to deny everything they said. These things are not happening in me only. In Asia, BAP is doing now to everyone. In Philippines, BAP open two distributor and make them imports stock from BAP as much as they can. When the two distributors cannot import any more, BAP will appoint another distributor again and repeat the same things to them. In Taiwan, I knew there is a same case. Taiwan distributor worked for BAP around 10 years and kicked out by his sales manager Mr. Tang, BAP using a similar method to cooperate with Mr. Tang and takeover the market that the original Taiwan distributor have developed. BAP afraid their lies will be expose. Thus, BAP need to keep changing distributor and setting unreasonable target to distributor to ensure their lies would not be expose. In the right timing, BAP will get into that market when it is well developed. Original Taiwan distributor with red and the new one in yellow is the sales manager under the original. Photo took in Phuket Retreat 2013 We can see BAP take over Taiwan and dealing with the sales manager in 2016. I have find out the original distributor are noticed by BAP that BMC(Eric Hoy Fletcher) need to change the distributor based on their work is not doing well but no details. We can also see thing was happened in Korean. Above are the original distributors in Korean in 2014. However, BAP was selling expensive products and pushing them to keep importing oil. After a year, Korean distributor have a lot of stock with high cost. They cannot sell it based on the cost of imports is the retail price in Korean, then BAP ask them to quit and handover all the market with no cost to the new distributor(see below) in 2016. BAP also promise the original distributor will give him back the profit after they sold the products. But the result end up that Korean distributor haven’t got his money back. I know it now that is happening in China right now. Since 2014, Singapore open a joint venture with a Chinese company and make them invest 2 million US dollar. China market have developing normal in these 3 years. Because of BAP keep interfere the business in China. BAP appoint 3 to 4 national distributors and selling to them directly from Singapore and ask the joint venture to bear the cost and support them for developing China Market. BAP promise for 15% Profit to the joint venture when BAP selling to different national distributor. 3 Years ago, BAP use the power in the joint venture and keep stocking for the national distributor. But none of them buy from the joint venture, BAP selling them directly from Singapore. Furthermore, there is an additives national distributor open by BAP. BAP sold him 2 containers of additives and they cannot sell it out based on the cost, BAP would like to disqualify their national distributor without helping them to recover their investment. When BSZ want to help them to clean up his additives to recover some of his investment. BAP just stop BSZ and tell BSZ that BAP and BSZ have no responsibility to help anyone sell their stock. In 2017, BAP ask the joint venture to transfer all the assets to BAP and close the joint venture based on the order of Eric H. Fletcher and BMC. BAP said everyone should following the order from Americans. Otherwise BAP will ask their lawyer team to take everything from the joint venture. Bardahl Shenzhen(BSZ) haven’t surrender and following the contract they have sign with BAP, so BAP open another company in Guangzhou (BGZ) and ignore the contract they have signed and producing everything locally. BAP and BGZ keep telling everyone BSZ is no longer exist and BSZ have compensate a few millions dollar to BMC for their action to confuse who dealing with BSZ. We are not a fool, this world is fair enough for everyone to do business by following the rules. BAP want to take everything from you and your friend, the examples above has showed how BAP cheat people and We should stand up for anything unfair nowadays, fight for the right. We know BAP haven’t got their word, we are not the one who need to obey Americans order as a slave. We are organizing more group to stand up for these. So please pay attention for this and stop buying product from Bardahl Asia Pacific.
  3. Does additives works on Japanese cars??? Seen those STP fuel injector cleaners, Engine Oil treatment, Fuel system treatment, high octane booster...etc. Does it really work on Japanese cars?? I am asking becoz I heard these products are only tested on conti-cars... Anyone got any comments?

Any expert bros here can go thru the website to see if its good? i went thru liao. so far so good. tempted to sign up though. 6. I may not be correct but this is my experience. I bought a bottle of Voltronic engine flush (those type which you just add to oil and idle for 10-15min before draining). After I replace the oil, I realised that the engine was not smoother than before. My FC actually went up. I gotten around 1KM less per litre of petrol. I need around 600KM before the engine feels good and FC back to normal. I am guessing that the engine flush actually removed too much things esp. the anti-wear and friction reducing coatings that were left behind, hence causing more friction. Thus, it may not be a great idea to flush the engine except when you really need to clean the sludgetc (if there is any). If the engine is well maintained with regular oil change, then it may not be necessary to flush at all.
  7. I used to use STP, products, but the performance drops by -2%?
  8. Anyone know where i buy LiquiMoly additives? They seem really hard to find. A reasonable price would be good. I know some shops profit margin are very high. Thx bros
  9. Noobies qns... From my limited knowledge, there are 2 types of additives, fuel and engine, right? Heard that fuel additives are more useful for high mileage poorly maintain cars. I just took over a almost 4 yr old car (67k mileage), wondering if fuel additives would do the car any good? For fuel additives, do you guys add it in yourself or ask the mech during EO?
  10. Anyone using fuel additives? Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj_21dikYR8 -2%
  11. going to do my servicing next month. intent o pour engine treatment/additive for the engine. any recomandations? TIA
  12. Just want to say that fuel additives may not be snake oil. Some may work and actually improve combustion and reduce pollution. I just read up on Oxygenate blending in fuels and ethanol is used to increase oxygen level in fuels and this will result in better combustion and lower pollution. It also double up as octane booster. Another chemical is methyl tertiary butyl ether. Check wiki for more info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gasoline Of course, we have no idea how much of these are already available in our petrol and what are after market additives using. Thus we may never know whats good and whats snake oil....... At least we do know that some additives like Techron is not snake oil. In some countries, Techron is sold as a aftermarket additive. Not the case for SG cause we already have Techron in Caltex petrol.
  13. Ok, after some reading etc, I have come up with a very plausible theory on why 2T oil actually works. As your piston moves on the cylinder walls, the oil scrapper rings removes most of the oil already. This leaves very little oil the walls. As the air/fuel mixture enters the combustion chamber, some of the 2T oil will definitely adhere to the cylinder walls, thus this 2T oil provides lubrication and when the piston moves up to compress the air, there is less friction and hence lesser energy needed and better mileage. Btw, I have also thought about why additional additives are needed for engines, esp. old engines. Think about the instance the fuel ignites and the piston moves down. Whatever oil thats left on the cylinder wall gets burnt as well. This means no oil on the walls. When the piston moves up again, its very likely that the 1st and even 2nd compression ring will make contact with the cylinder walls w/o any oil lubrication. Under such circumstance, only those extreme pressure lubricants like Zinc, Moly etc (whatever thats coated on the walls) will provide the protection necessary. Its impossible for our engine oil to provide 100% protection for the engine (thats why the engine parts does get worn out over time and why there is always metal particles in used oil).
  14. Actually I do think most (not all) additives in the market are BS. I guess they have little or no effect... With added risk of impurities which cause extra carbon built up. For those that do work... I also believe it works better on older cars... My previous car, a COE car... Showed better FC n a smoother drive. Felt more power... After I used my green oil... Many of you might laugh... Well I myself can't be sure I didn't do a dyno or anything... Maybe it was in the mind... But my FC did improve. But then again other factors like load driving style tyre pressure all... Anyways I felt it was good. So I got it... Using my citibank bonus cash at Autobacs. And every 5 empty bottles got me 1 free bottle. Anyways when I got my present car I still had a lot of my green oil so I used it... Until not too long ago I ran out of it and decided to stop using the additive... All ok so far till lately car like less powerful... Maybe its in the mind I guess... Then I backside itchy bought the Nano fuel additive from korea packed like a packet of chili sauce. $4... Package says will treat 80liters... So I tried it... Then suddenly the next day the car like smoother.. Like more powerful I step less throttle to reach cruising speed...SERIOUSLY I think its BS probably it in my mind only... Then I remembered I also poured in a bottle of prostaff water remover... Could tis be the reason for the smoothness? What are your thoughts? Thanks...
  15. Anyone using the above for your car? Used the diesel treatment once when I was driving the Caddy. Didn't really feel any improvement. Was going to try for my car. Anyone has any advice?
  16. Those who drive diesel veh, did you notice the poorer mileage on diesel with the existing 29% discount? My co. van delivered much lower mileage than usual when drinking 29% disouont diesel. Maybe less additives is added?
  17. Good morning, Brothers I'm sure that in the course of our car ownership, fuel additives are definitely one of the most marketed products at the service workshops. Question is, are the chemicals as efficacious as what the manufacturers claim them to be? An episode of 'MythBusters' screened on Discovery channel yesterday compared the various genres of fuel additives, ranging from the straightforward fuel 'adhesives' and 'start-up magnets' to complicated 'hydrogen combustion engines'. And guess what? The wide variety of fuel enhancement products achieve merely identical or for some, lower fuel economy as compared to the native fuel. So, Brothers, any experience with the fuel additives? Opinions as far as I gather seem to be divided between the good and the bad. Thank you and have a great day ahead
  18. Wondering does those air con additives work as claimed?Or do we need just normal air con gas that lubricates just as fine cos I was wondering how to maintain & prolong the lifespan of my air con compressor.
  19. Found this interesting thread at mycityclub. http://www.mycityclub.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=84
  20. Read this before you go and spend your hard earned $$$ on these. http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbibles/i...&additives.html All the companies you can think of which advertise that these products are better, FC saving and more power all have been sued by the FTC in the US. And they all lost.
  21. Very informative. Everyone should read up about all these so called addictives Go to this URL for more http://www.chris-longhurst.com/carbibles/index.html?menu.html&additives.html MotorUp loses to FTC for deceptive advertising claims. In an ongoing campaign targeting ads that tout motor oil additives with deceptive claims that they reduce engine wear or extend engine life compared to motor oil alone, the FTC has charged the seller of Motor Up Engine Treatment with making unsubstantiated and deceptive advertising claims, in violation of federal laws. Motor Up Corporation and its principal, Kyle Burns, face an administrative trial. The magnet-on-your-fuel-line boys FuelMax loses to FTC for deceptive advertising claims. The marketers of the Super FuelMAX automotive fuel-line magnet, advertised as providing dramatic fuel-saving and emissions-reducing benefits, have agreed to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that their claims were unsubstantiated. These guys claimed that sticking a pair of magnets around your fuel line would increase your gas mileage by 27% whilst reducing harmful pollutants by 42%. The one slight flaw in their plan? There's nothing in fuel that can be affected by magnets...... The FTC alleged that the manufacturers did not possess or rely on reasonable substantiation for the claims they made. The complaint also alleged that the manufacturers falsely represented that tests performed at a certified EPA laboratory prove that Super FuelMAX performed to the above figures. Finally, the FTC charged that ads for Super FuelMAX featuring a testimonial from Alexander Elnekaveh endorsing the product did not reflect Elnekaveh's actual experience with the product or the typical or ordinary experience of members of the public who use the product. Therefore, the FTC complaint said, the representations concerning the testimonial were false or misleading.
  22. The not-so-clever classic oil additives Happiness is ..... an engine treated with mineral oil filled with food colouring???? To illustrate the whole point about additives, consider this. In the manufacture of synthetic oils, once the synthetic polyol ester bases are created, anti-wear additives such as zinc dithiophosphates (essentially combinations of zinc, phosphorous, and sulphour molecules) are added. These combinations are extremely effective as anti-oxidant, anti-wear, anti-corrosion inhibitors. Now look at the contents of some of the after-market additives. Wow! Zinc, phosphorous and sulphour! Imagine that. Those aftermarket additives are actually exactly what your oil manufacturer has put in already. Consider further that some oil companies actually make a point of telling you not to use aftermarket additives with their oils. So if these additives are so brilliant, why do the companies always seem to end up in trouble? Well - misleading advertising and non-active "active" ingredients claim a lot of victims. Read on...... Note : you can search for the FTC's rulings on any engine additive by using their search page and searching their 'news releases' for the product you're interested in - most of them are in there, which should tell you something..... Slick 50 in $20M lawsuit, loses to FTC. Blue Corral, the manufacturers of the Slick 50 engine oil additive, have been banned by the Federal Trade Commission from making claims about reduced engine wear, increased fuel economy and lower running temperatures in it's advertising in America. The Federal Commission found the company's claims of increased performance and reduced wear were unsubstantiated, and Blue Corral has agreed to pay upwards of $20M in damages to affected customers. The manufacturers of the ProLong engine additive have been dealt a smack in the face by a Consumer Reports Magazine report into their product. CR attempted to reproduce the "no oil" test where all the oil was drained out of an engine which had been treated with ProLong, and then the engine was run. CR managed a maximum of 13 seconds running out of each of two engine before they seized up, welding the pistons to the barrels. The case is being brought to a Federal Commision for prosecution for false advertising claims. The manufacturers of the DuraLube engine additive were dealt a smack in the face by a Car & Driver Magazine report into their product. C&D tried the same tests as Consumer Reports did on ProLong, and had similar results, but in a much quicker time. The C&D engines treated with DuraLube lasted a staggering 11 seconds without oil. You do the math. The Federal Trade Commission dealt with it..... Click here to read the FTC Report on the FTC vs. Duralube. MotorUp loses to FTC for deceptive advertising claims.
