The car has been neglected by me for a good 2 months, not even touching it or even washing it. No Aquawax application from me, till last saturday, when i received my new poison from MD. On the car, is already Zaino products, done by Cazcomp. Last saturday, due to time constraints, i only managed to apply ONE layer of 521. I actually wanted to do a 521, and a AW application, but i only could do 521. Seeing the car quite dirty today, 4 days after the wash, due to the rain, I decided to wash and do AW and 521 today, as i wanted protection as I would be going overseas on Sunday for 10 days. Don't know what weather Singapore would experience while im away. I took pictures after hosing the car, after the wash ( and dried), and lastly, after the 2 layers of Aquawax 1st, then 521 followed by. Hope the detailing gurus out there can give some comments on how i can improve the car's shine. Ty!! After rinsing the car, before soaping.

[inline P1000337.JPG][inline P1000330.JPG][inline P1000326.JPG][inline P1000318.JPG]My friend had some leftover Zaino and asked me to try. It was just a tiny little mixture of Z2pro mixed with ZFX. First i washed and Claybar the whole car. and then layer a very thin coat of mixture over the whole car and buff off. Do this 3 times in total. At the end of the exercise still had a lot leftover so used it on my rims. Must say i am very impressed with Zaino. In one of the photos, you will see a small bottle of the mixture.. that was all i need to spread it on the car 3 times. Tried Sonax last week which i posted in the sonax thread, but im more impressed by Zaino's smoothness and shine.

I have been DIY-ing for the last 8 months with Zaino products. Namely, Z18 Claybar - Z1 polish lok - Z2 Pro - Z6 spray. I love the final outcome. Recently, I got hold of the Z5 Show Car Polish (Swirl Marks and Fine Scratches) to 1) cover up some swirls and scratches and 2) give a deeper shine. The problem is that I had a real hard time trying to buff off the Z5 polish residue. Often, 70% of the residue refuse to come off the surface with the normal buffing method I used for Z2. I have to apply more pressure and use a longer time to get it off. Even then, it will not be completely removed. In most cases, I have to use the Z6 spray and a cloth to effectively remove the leftover residue. Anyone who uses the Z2 polish will know how easy and simple the buffing procedure is but removing the Z-5 is a real bitch. Is anyone experiencing the same kind of sticky situation as me? What went wrong? 1) Drying time? In the Zaino webby (USA), it is stated that humidity will affect the drying time. I normally wait for 40 mins before attempting to remove the residue. 2) Application is too thick? I was told by Chandra that the Z5 is actually denser than the Z2, thus it will longer and more work to buff it off. In any case, guys that went for his grooming session have to pay $10 more if he has to use Z5 on their cars. Happy to discuss with anyone trying the Z5 and has/had encountered the same problem.....

Hi, I have recently switched to Klasse. As I have some remaining Z7 (car shampoo), I used a bit of it for my regular car wash yesterday. I tried to make the solutiuon as dilute as possible. I read from the Zaino bottle that it contains some chemicals. I worry that it will remove the Klasse coat. Any thoughts or comments? Rgds

Getting my car soon and was wondering which would be a good choice for a white car. As long the shine can tahan for at least 4-5 months it would be good. Budget is around $400+ thereabouts to cover 18 mths. Is glare a good choice? or Zaino better for white cars? or any other brands? Thanks.

DO NOT BUY ZAINO Z-FX ===> $45. It dries up and cannot be used after awhile.. Went back to chandra and replied that there's nothing he can do and he oredi advised customers not to buy Z-FX... i was like ..."WTF" Jon

I'm thinking of getting my car polished by Zaino to save some time. I have a set of the Klasse kit I bought from the recent MO, can I still apply the Klasse AIO and sealant glaze after the Zaino treatment ? Thks very much.

Hi everybody, Any reviews on Zaino Bro's Show Car Polish Products? Anyone using their products? How long does the shine last? Thinking of using their products. Thanks!

Would like to enquire from Zaino DIYers... How long (or how many uses) can one bottle of the following last: (1) Z2Pro sealant, (2) Z7 car wash, (3) Z6 spray, (4) ZFX? Also, how long can these be kept before they spoil (if they do spoil)? Thks!
