Hi guys. i got the tyres last aug n have covered abt 35 000km in them. been doing rotation every 10 000km n did my alignment twice so no issues there. car doesnt swing to either side when the steering wheel is released. no uneven wear. can still see most of the grooves but a general overall wearing out. just want to know whether 35 000km is the usual for yoko db decibel drive. Thanks. fyi, mine is a 1991 mercedes 200e w124 n tyre size is 195/65/r15 running on steel rims with hubcaps (old school)

Hi all, my stockAD07 is gone soon and I'm looking for a replacement....but alas AD07 no longer in production!! The successor AD08 is so much more exp that I intend to try other brands. Looking at something of similar performance and price range (AD07 was slightly below $200 per piece last time, 205/45R16) Any recommendations? Was looking at the following (online research only, haven't go workshop see), any idea how they fair against the AD07? -Dunlop Z1 -Bridgestone RE11 or RE001 -Bridgestone RE01R(still available?) -Hankook RS2/3 thank you. edite: oh anyone tried Federal's Perf tyres? What is their equivalent? comments?

Which is the best in terms of outright dry grip? 215/40/17 for RS2 and AD07, 205/40/17 for RT615. Y isit that the Falken and Hankook are only xxx/A/A whereas my current are Maxxis xxx/AA/A but is inferior in the dry??

Hi All, It's time for me to replace my tyres and saw the Yoko C-Drive which look very sporty. Pls help comment. I'm looking for a average performing type but total performance is out as I don't want the noise. What's a average good tyre to recommend ? Thanks in advance.

Any bros here can recommand whats a good equilvent or better tire of this 195/50/15 ? I'm ok with better grip for louder sound, though i find the C-Drive noisier than my previous Falken 512s... thanks in advance!

Have read so much on the following tyres: 1. KUMHO 712 2. BFG GFS 3. Yoko ES100 4. Pirelli Dragon 5. Bridgestone GR80 Just wanted to do a mini survey based on brothers experience here. In terms of dry grip, wet grip, cornering response/comfort, handling, which one wins in each category? Of course, price plays a part too :) Comments?

Just saw on Channel 8 Shopping Guide the new Aspec db 505 , or was it 550 ? Still has the same 4 circumferential grooves but the thread pattern is now "coarser". The fine slanted grooves are now gone and the resulting thread pattern looks closer to that of the Bridgestone S-03 . This should be interesting . Maybe this tyre will have all round improvements over the previous model while still maintaining its lo noise feature . I wonder how much they are upping the price . Rgs
