Science Centre is hosting Body Worlds currently and entry for just the exhibition is $20 for adults and $12 for children. Although the exhibits may be a little gruesome for some, I highly recommend it for educational value. My favourite exhibit was the one where they showed this person with only her blood vessels still intact. From far it looks like red furry fuzz but up close you can see how intricate blood vessels can be. Those who smoke or drink a lot should check out the lung and liver display to scare yourself straight. I also learnt that the male package are actually 3 pieces dangling seperately from each other. The first part where they show fetuses from 4-8 weeks is fascinating, "beautiful" and sad at the same time. There is also a display on hernia. This is the reason why you have to cough in front of the doc with your pants down. You can also find out why some famous artists painted such blurry pictures. Other than humans, there is also a big horse, 2 giraffes, 2 reindeers, a sotong and an octopus.

Ever had a problem when entering a petrol station in a borrowed or rented car? Which side is the fuel intake on? I always thought that Asian cars = fuel filling on the left and conti cars = fuel filling on the right - in general. Well this email I received purports to have the solution. Not sure whether true or not. The writer claims it is the 'world's best kept auto secret". I think it's more auto trivia From an email: I have been driving for more than 4 decades. One would think I would have noticed the little secret on my dash that was staring me right in the face the whole time. I didn't and I bet you probably haven't either. Quick question, what side of your car is your gas tank? If you are anything like me, you probably can't remember right away. My solution is to uncomfortably stick my head out the window, strain my neck and look. If you don't do this in your own car you definitely have done it in a borrowed or rental car. Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to share with you my little secret so you will no longer look like Ace Ventura on your way to the gas station or put your neck at risk of uncomforted or injury. If you look at your gas gauge, you will see a small icon of a gas pump. The handle of the gas pump will extend out on either the left or right side of the pump. If your tank is on the left, the handle will be on the left. If your tank is on the right, the handle will be on the right (see photo below). It is that simple! I don't know how you feel right now but when I found out this morning I felt cheated! Why don't the dealers share such important information with car buyers? I don't understand why this isn't in the drivers ed manual? I don't get why any mechanic I have ever been too or know has even thought of mentioning this to me? The only possible explanation can be that all these people probably don't even know! Go out and share the worlds best kept auto secret with your friends as this is information is way too important to be kept secret.
