My wife was making a u-turn at the junction of Queensway S.C. Then came this white hatchback (look like a swift or fit) just drive out of the filter lane dangerous. Luckily my wife was alert enough to hit the brakes. My car kenna hit is not a big issue cos I'll just claim your insurance. My concern is my baby boy who is in the passenger car seat (secured in the baby seat). If I was driving, I would have check the right for cars before giving chase and capture your car plate number then send it to TP. If you want to die early go ahead. Don't drag others along. I cannot give you the benefit of doubt that you have someone in the car that needs urgent medical attention cos you did not make a right turn to Alexandra Hospital.

attached is my police report and a rough sketch of what happened on my accident day.........whereby i was rushed to NUH AE dept......wonder what TP wld conclude???? of the van that send me flying/and me as the rider?? basically the van driver was doing something s he stopped n not moving (but i can't make out what he was doing),when my bike already visible n not in his blind spot.....like an F1 driver just signal right and turn,should have stepped on the accelerator.....banged me liao then brake and like panic....

Ever wonder why when someone posted something in a thread...it will somehow become political? Maybe it's because we read too much Yahoo! news that we cannot map the relation to the topics we posted But on a serious note, anyone noticed that Yahoo! news tend to be abit extreme at the other side of the coin? I find the Yahoo! news crew trend to be may a bit on anti-asian undertones...They're news usually put asian countries (including Singapore at time) in bad light.

I was reading newspaper...about lacking of parking space now...he suggested demand responsive pricing...yes...so my season parking should be demand responsive as well ?? And is really that much people facing parking problem when they are home ?? If yes...pls lower the coe quota...that will solve the problem...the prof forgotten we have a very interesting one and only COE system in the world that can control the population of vehicles...and that solve the root of the problem....to have responsive pricing is shifting the needs...but alot of things cannot change... like crowd during lunch time....can we say you eat at 3pm and I eat at 12pm so it solve the overcrowding problem ??? everyone will want to eat 12pm....then we use money to force them to change... wow...seem like ah kong...everything use $$$ to solve the problem...

There is an IDAC centre just below my office (newly opened one). So often, I have seen cars towed there and they are so badly smashed up that it can be declared total loss already. Today have another badly damaged (no idea what car caused its covered with a canvas sheet. But can see the front also gone. I just wonder how do these people actually drive one? Can drive till the front gone......No wonder insurance is getting more and more expensive....sigh.... These people drive w/o eyes and we are made to pay for it.......sigh..... -
Our gf, or wife..... they seem to need a big bag wherever they go, else they will stop breathing?? Take for example my wife, since the day i knew her, havent seen a day she goes out without a bag which to me, seems to be big enough to keep all the stuff i need for an overnight trip... why?? Strangely, although I am curious, I have not really peeped inside her bag (or bags) to find out what she keeps inside?? first aid kit? all the keys for home, car, office? spare blouses etc etc? half her makeup table's contents? i dont know.......... If any bro has any clue, please share it here........... if you are sister, can you explain this 'mystery' why females need BAG bigger than a wallet? Most men can be away from home whole day with nothing more than a wallet, or at the most, a clutch-bag, small small one....

Sunday monring, I exited SLE (toward BKE) via Woodlands Ave 2. At the 1st t-juncture turning into Ave 1, there is this odd traffic light which has the red/amber/green light for right-turning lane. when the entire direction turned green light, the right-turning light also turned green. Then suddenly it turned amber and then red. I was the 3rd car in the waiting lane and was trailing behind a slow pickup. Being the 3rd car, I togt I should be able to clear the traffic light. Howver, I didnt expect the right-turn green light to change to amber then red so soon. I think I was just before the stop-line when the turning light became red. The slow pick-up caused me to over-estimate my speed of turning and I was overly optmisstic that I could make it. On hindsight, I should have stopped. I drove past the junction again and realised that there is a redlight camera. I dun recall seeing a flash at all. As the entire traffic direction was still green light except that this right-turn lane which was turned red, I wonder if the camera will activate. The funny thing about this junction is that after the red light for the right turn comes on, it will go off after 5 sec. It becomes a "normal" right-turning lane when the red light goes off. i reckon that the camera wont activate for a single lane (general traffic direction is still green) or due to the weird set-up for this right-turning lane (turns red then turns off). Any expert opinion? Having said the above, I am absolutely sure it was a mistake on my judgement. I will definitely be less optimssitic when crossing traffic lights... -

Last time when I am a teenager buying a car. Every dealer tell me they need to collect a "football money" aka "tak kiu lui" in hokkien. Usually is range from few hundreds to a thousand. Wonder where this term come from. Issit because the boss or the sales people bet football lost alot of money so they need to collect this money to pay the bookie?
