  2. Is widebody kit illegal in SG? CAuse I am trying to customised a set of bodykit for my car to make it look like the rally version. This will cause the wide of each side to extend by 45mm. http://protonmotorsports.files.wordpress.c...6/basso_141.jpg You can see the wider front and rear wheel arches. Is this illegal in SG? *I think its illegal after some google searches, but what the heck..... *
  3. The existing bus priority measures, such as bus lanes and Mandatory Give Way to Buses (MGWTB), will be extended to more locations island-wide. From mid-October, there will be another 25 kilometres of bus lanes -- with Kampong Bahru Road, Lorong 6 Toa Payoh and Orchard Boulevard among the first new stretches. Currently, there are 23 kilometres of full-day bus lanes, and 155 kilometres of normal bus lanes. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said with the completion of new bus lanes by end-2013, there will be about 200 kilometres of bus lanes island-wide. From November, the Mandatory Give Way to Buses scheme will be implemented at another 135 bus bays. When completed by end-2014, about 300 bus stops will be covered under the scheme. LTA said the expansion of the bus priority measures are aimed at improving overall reliability and speeds of buses, so that commuters can experience more regular waiting times. It will also complement the ongoing Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), where additional buses will be added. LTA said by improving bus reliability, it will help shorten overall bus journey time and make public transport more attractive. 4. Hi guys, I am planning to install wide body kit to make my Neo looks like this: I know its not LTA friendly but I still want to go for it. Other than looks, what are the benefits of wide body? Does it make the car more stable at corners?

  7. My Lancer doesnt come with this wide spray nozzle, and I happened to see it at Autobacs Ubi. Comes in white and chrome. Kind of expensive at $41+, excluding installation fee. Would like to ask, anyone using this product? It's made in Japan.

  11. Hi any guys using Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval? Firestone is basically Brdgestone, like Lexus as to Toyota. Why i ask is because i know of one guy recently purchased a set of Wide Oval 195/55r15 at $75 per tyre! the price is madness. i think 205/50r16 should be less than $110 so its much cheaper than alot of tyres out there. any guys knowing this tyre can feedback, thanks!
  12. Those who want that "wide wheels & tyre" look without spending extra money on upgrading to a wider rims & tyres and compromising on higher fuel consumption, can have this installed at Stamford Tyres for $259. Box on left. Actual product on the right.
  13. I am looking for 130-170 degree angle weatherproof mini camera for mounting on the front grill/bumper of my car. The reserve cameras don't work for me as the image is mirrored. Found this on the net but would prefer a local vendor. http://www.spygadgets.com/Merchant2/mercha...ory_Code=BULLET Any ideas?

  16. Hi Bros Theres been several inputs regards to the use of CAI. I'm currently on a fully enclosed heat shielded cone type filter (Green Dynatwist). The basics of fluid dynamics, the CAI is better to be short with minimum bend, to have minimum impact. However, if CAI is extremely short it will deem as just another open pod? Question: I've kept my CAI long enuf to ensure that its taking direct cold air from front fog area. Am i compromising the flow by a longer CAI? Am I doing it right? Or should I break the CAI into shorter sections and take the risk of pulling hot air from the engine bay? Diameter of CAI hose, wider or narrower ? I have the impression that by using wider (4") hose will enhance better flow ie. less restrictve. However, it was reflected to me to reduce to 3" that I'm actually compromising on the air velocity by using a wider hose? The flow will still remain even when I'm using a narrower hose except that its higher air velocity? CAI, which is most important? flow? velocity? length? Or am I too hysterical over unjustifyable difference?
  17. Can someone recommend any wide band O2 controllers w/ Bosch sensor + logging? It is for DIY ECU tuning with E-Manage. I'm about to buy one from zeitronix.com for 280USD, but I want to check if there are alternatives in Singapore, as my family is visiting me soon. If you know any Singapore tuning forums such as Evo or WRX groups, please inform me. thanks.
