My experience in past 2 days where one of the day i forgot to bring my wallet out. Day 1 - with wallet but never get to use cash - Went to the physio at NUH, after the session i went to make payment, counter nurse told me 'cashless please'. - Going to watch movie with wife, so i make booking via phone apps and pay through Masterpass. - Took a grab to orchard. - Still have an hour to kill while waiting for wife, went to a cafe for coffee, place order and took out cash, the staff point to the signboard 'cashless payment ONLY'. Day 2 - without wallet (i left it in my wife's bag when we were watching movie) - Didn't notice i dun have my wallet until i reach office bus stop, my ezlink card was behind my phone try to act like i have a NFC sim card . - Panic for 2min thinking how to survive for the day, walk into Starbucks which i have the Starbucks app in my phone, breakfast settled. - Come lunch time, dun want to eat Starbucks again, heng i stored a credit card in Samsung Pay. walk to Hans and pay through Samsung Pay. - Dinner time met up with wife, went into a Korean cafe and they told us to scan the QR code on the table where you place order to making payment all via the phone!!?? i input my card number detail (i actually have those info in my phone but each info was hide in different apps). So i manage to survive 2 days without cash (wallet) for medical, transport, meals, movie, and shopping and thank god my phone battery can last whole day

My wallet that is. And before I actually realised I'd lost it I had a phone call to say it had been found. Unfortunately I couldn't thank the person who found it because the phone number she left wasn't working. But just to say thank you to the cleaner on the fifth floor of Ng Teng Fong hospital for your staightforward honesty. Have a happy life.

Do you believe in wallet fengshui? Share your tots leh.. New year new wallet? Choose a Feng Shui Size for Your Wallet to Attract Money, Wealth and Prosperity Choose the 'home' for your money carefully. A good wallet should have enough space to hold everything you need to keep in it such as banknotes, coins and credit cards. If possible, buy a wallet where the banknotes can freely fit into the wallet without being folded as money doesn't like being wrinkled or creased. Your new wallet should have enough compartments to keep banknotes, coins, and cards separately. As money likes order, you should line up your notes so that they lie in the same order and notes of the same amount together. Make sure that your new wallet should is large enough to contain more money than is usually kept in it – this should help attract more money to fill the free space. Choose a Feng Shui Color for Your Wallet to Attract New Wealth Black or dark blue correspond to the Water element of Feng Shui. Water is responsible for your wealth and prosperity. Black is traditionally considered to be the best color for a wallet. White, grey, silver or gold are said to be responsible for stability and permanence and could infuse your financial affairs with these qualities. Gold is nearly always associated with luxury and wealth and will help to attract these into your life. Red is the color of the Feng Shui Fire element. Red activates and energizes thepositive flow of money into a wallet. Green is the color of Feng Shui Wood element and represents growth and development. A green wallet will help to contribute positively to your financial situation. Yellow or brown are associated with the Earth element of Feng Shui, and will add stability, reliability and confidence to your wealth building skills. Feng Shui Tips on Treating a Wallet that will Attract Money, Wealth and Prosperity Make sure not to keep family pictures in your wallet. Personal pictures will 'confuse' and 'distract' the money and keep it away from your wallet. Always keep a small amount of money in your wallet that you will never spend as money 'likes' to feel safe – an empty wallet will feel lonely and unsafe! Keep your wallet neat and clean and if it becomes too worn, damaged or soiled, buy a new one. Choose a wallet carefully. Your wallet should be good quality, but not necessarily expensive. A good quality, luxurious looking wallet will help to attract a quality financial life. Never keep receipts in your wallet, only keep money. Receipts are proof of money that you don't have anymore and will only attract more receipts and debt. Do not keep anything else apart from money or money related items in your wallet. Move your driver license somewhere else. You may even consider keeping your credit cards in another holder. Credit cards represent debt rather than wealth to many people.

Been going there for my non-ICT IPPTs during my last few years with them and I had always placed my valuables in one of the many lockers provided. Now that this Mr Gan had revealed all was not well and that his stuff actually got Ali Ba Ba'ed  Maybe bros going inside camps for IPPTs play safe just bring along 11B can liao [laugh] But the greater issue which was implied is the security issue. Non-working CCTVs in camps? Isolated incident perhaps? [rolleyes] From ST Forum: http://www.straitstimes.com/premium/forum-...orking-20130326 Wallet, phone go missing in army camp, but CCTV not working Published on Mar 26, 2013 I WENT for my remedial training at Bedok Camp on March 17. I placed my belongings in one of the lockers provided at the ground level. During the break, I went to check on my belongings and found that my wallet and mobile phone had gone missing. I immediately reported the incident to the army personnel at the training centre. I requested to view the closed-circuit television camera recording as my locker was in an area that was under CCTV surveillance. However I was told that the CCTV camera at the ground level was down. I have always thought that military premises are secure, but this incident has made me think otherwise. There should at least be annual checks on CCTV systems in military camps, so that any spoilt cameras can be fixed without delay. Gan Ka Hwee
