It’s been weeks of searching for a used car with a piece of good news - adding one new member into the family soon. From a 15 years old toyota altis to kia cerato forte SX, i went for a few viewings but the asking price is still high for a 10 months left coe. What popped up was a black C200 W202, the first C class produced. It was a direct owner sale and with road tax paid till october. I arranged for a viewing and the owner was open for inspection. Made the decision over 2 days and got the key. It’s been slightly 1.5 months since I was handed the keys and as always, after 24 years of driving duties, she has some minor wear and tear such as water plug, and engine bonnet cover catch broke, air con controls knob loose. I was also told that 2 previous owner took the car up to thailand! Sharing some photos below here.

Hi all I am seriously considering the new legacy GT. However, I really enjoy my current ride's Alpine W202 double din HU with touch screen and USB cable for iPod plus H701. I wonder if I can transfer my setup to the legacy by any good ICE shops? Which ICE shop would you recommend to 'dekit' ICE from my present ride and install cheap ones on it before it is sold off? Below is the picture of the new legacy console. The fact thing is that if this project pulls thru' I would still have to face the extra buttons for ICE which I will not be using. Pardon if I sound ignorant as I am a noob to all these.

Hi, I currently using Alpine9886 stock from KM. Normal CD HU. I'm looking for a dvd 2-din HU, either pioneer 6050 or alpine W202. read from alpine website got another one is W502. I am v satisfied with 9886 performance in terms of sound quality. But i heard if i were to change to 6050, the sound quality will not be so good. Was wondering that the W202 can match up with my current 9886 in terms of sound quality. The other issue is i'm using USB loaded with MP3 to be played in my 9886. As for 6050 or W202, i;m nt sure whether i can just plug in my USB thumbdrive to play songs. I dun need ipod capability as i dun use ipod at all. With W202, can i use back my alpine cd changer? There are a lot of processor like 701 which i duno wad is it for. can someone enlighten me? I'm just looking for sound quality which is similiar to my 9886 and able to connect USB to play songs. Pls recommend. thanks.

Hi guys, Are there any significant differences between the 2 units? I'm also looking at the pioneer 6850DVD, but more inclined towards alpine.. I hope the W202 being newer, will be GPS expandable I think the pioneer one does not have GPS capability, nor does it have a good tuning system. -
Any bros here know where to get a compatible remote control for Alpine W200 or W202? The unit does not come with a remote so have to buy one.
