Hi all, I wish to highlight my plights of being 2 times unlucky when I used the vPost services for items purchased from Amazon.com and had the items shipped to my vPost USA address. The stories goes like this... Prior to my 1st order on Amazon.com on 11 Oct 2011, I have updated my vPost account online to my latest mailing address and has also done my due diligence to ensure that my vPost USA address has been duly updated as well. I then proceeded to place my order with Amazon.com and the item was received at the vPost USA facility on 14 Oct 2011. Subsequently, I've proceeded to submit (Via email) my sales invoice (From Amazon.com) to vPost USA for them to process so that the delivery invoice can be generated by vPost for me to make payment before my item can be released and delivered. On 18 Oct 2011, I've received the invoice for me to make payment for my package (VS114811284US) which I've paid up in full on the same day. After making the above payment, I did not receive any updates until 20 Oct 2011 to inform me that the shipment has been sent out from vPost USA as well as confirmation of my payment for the package. On 03 Nov 2011, after remembering that I'm expecting the above mentioned package and after waiting for it for so long, I've written in an enquiry via the vPost on-line portal and has received an email reply with CASE ID #101964. I've also followed up with vPost by making a telephone call on the same day and spoke with a lady called Salas who has tracked down my parcel and informed me that there was an attempted delivery made to my old mailing address on 23 Oct 2011. I've informed Salas that I've logged onto my vPost account before making my order and question why their system did not capture the updated information, which she is unable to answer, only to offer her apology and then she took down my new mailing address and arranged for a re-delivery on 05 Nov 2011 (Sat) between 9am to 1pm. As I was busy on 05 Nov 2011, I've made arrangement for my mum to make herself available for the day to receive the package and she had to cancel all her appointments for the day just to sign for the package. Alas, 1pm came and went and there was no sign of any delivery by vPost on 05 Nov 2011 and I'd tried to call the vPost 1605 but to no avail as the hotline was closed. My mum has wasted her day due to vPost's failure to deliver on their service. On 07 Nov 2011, I called the vPost hotline again to check on the delivery status and was informed that there was a delivery made but a further check revealed that the vPost delivery personnel has sent the package to my old mailing address again! The call was then transferred to Rob (Robin), the Customer Service Manager with vPost and after some investigation on his end, admitted that the glitch was due to their system not capturing my updated information on their system again and Robin has admitted again that there's a problem with their IT system. After all the saga above, I've received my long overdue parcel on 09 Nov 2011 at the correct mailing address. On 28 Oct 2011, I've placed another order with Amazon.com for another item (VS114958466US - OBJ9967) and used vPost USA service again as there's no choice but to do so as the merchant does not ship out to Singapore and unfortunately, vPost has fumbled on this shipment as well as I've only received an email update on 03 Nov 2011 to inform me that the shipment has arrived at their vPost USA facility and there have been no updates since. I called Rob (Robin) again to check on this shipment and to enquire why the invoice has not been generated and till now, there have been no resolution and I think this coming from Singapore's premier postal service, is unacceptable to say the least. It has been more than 2 weeks since my latest parcel has been sent and reached the USA facility but I'm at a lost as to when I will receive the item. The above has shown that vPost has to seriously look into their level of service and to improve on their IT system, customer service as well as getting their delivery acts together. Ok until today, no one from vPost has contacted me as I reckon besides Rob, there are no more senior managers above him or that no one wants or bothers to call me back to resolve the case. As Christmas is approaching fast, I seriously wonder if my parcel will reach me in time for me to give it to my niece as her present. Anyone here knows of any vPost contacts which I can channel my complaint to as calling their 1605 number and speaking with the agents and then being passed back to Rob does nothing for me! Thanks in advance. Very frustrated, Moooooooo

Hi all, Need help from fellow MCFers who had problems with VPost and had escalated your issues to their management. Their customer service line and email contacts are useless. Tired of repeating my case to a different operator each time I called. The person(s) who replies to my email doesn't seem to even read his own email before replying and sent me usual templates without addressing the issue. If you are interested to know the story, read on. Pardon my long ranting but I just need to know how to contact their management for help. ================================================================================ This started in end 2011. Helped a friend by providing my Vpost USA address for him to bring in 2 packages bought over a private seller over ebay. As the seller did not want to ship direct to Singapore, and would only ship to a US address, I emailed the details of the items to VPost and arranged for the delivery to my local address. The 2 packages were identical in size and weight and contained 1 half of the overall structure. Due to my friend providing the wrong tracking ID of 1 of the package, only 1 of them made it through smoothly and arrived in Singapore. The other was left in the VPost warehouse as they couldn't matched it with any orders/invoices. After providing the correct tracking ID, it was retrieved but VPost said they can't deliver to Singapore because the package contained grease and was labeled as dangerous goods. Apparently, someone opened up the package and either contaminated it with some other greasy stuff at VPost or perhaps some grease had been left in there by the packer/seller. It is strange though because the other package that arrived smoothly did not contain any grease and it is an identical half. Over the next few weeks were spent, getting VPost to explain why was there grease when the other half was ok and arrived smoothly. No one seemed to know what was happening and just logged my query and replied with standard email that they are checking with US counterpart. I was subsequently given the options to return to seller, redirect to another US address or get it picked up by another 3rd party courier. I chose the last option. Over the next few weeks were spent getting UPS to pick up the item from VPost but was again unsuccessful. VPost required some documentation to release the item which I prepared using UPS' online forms but somehow UPS couldn't pick it up. VPost kept saying no one picked it up while UPS said they can't because VPost refused to release. In the end, I chose to redirect to another US address provided by the friend. Again, weeks past before VPost responded asking me to pay an admin fee by cheque for the redirection. Another few weeks passed and my admin fee payment by cheque were not cashed-in. Wrote in, and called and explained all over again. Finally the cheque was cashed and I awaited for any confirmation that it was redirected. Few weeks passed again with me calling on alternate days and writing (lost count of number) emails. Finally they replied with the ridiculous answer: The package was returned to seller in 2011. WTF?? Didn't you just asked me to pay admin fee to redirect? I called and emailed again to clarify. One week later....: "Oh sorry, we have redirected the package as instructed in Oct 2011" WTF again??? I only request for the redirection this year so how could it be redirected last year? Called up and the customer service staff said...."it was redirected 2 weeks ago" Being suspicious I asked for an email to confirm the redirection and guess what the email said: "The package was redirected on 5 Oct 2011" Wrote and called back and they got the cheek to write back that the US counterpart had "with finality, confirmed that the package was redirected to the given US address in 2011" I wrote back and asked them how they could redirect the package last year to a US address that I only provided this year?? Asked for their supervisor's contact and no reply till today. Really f--k up cmi VPOST.

Ok..since I complained them so much last time, I thought I should give them back some credit when they did improved. I sent a parcel to Vpost USA 2 weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised that I can do my own self declare for shipment now. I don't need to send them my invoice. Previously, sending them the invoice and getting them to recognise the invoice and giving me a shipping bill take a bloody long time. Now, when the parcel arrived at my Vost USA address, they will inform me (via email) that the parcel has arrived. Then I just login my Vpost account, do a self declare, and it will automatically show me the shipping bill. I do payment and that's it. Item will arrive 3-4 days later to my destination in SGP. It's fast. And they also didn't delay informing me when the parcel arrived at my Vpost USA address. Not bad...hope they maintain this well.

Just letting off steam... I know some people had issues with vpost before, but I didn't... until now that is. I purchased a Garmin GPS and Friction mount from Amazon UK. Got Vpost to redirect them to me. For some reason, Amazon decided to split the order up. In the end, the GPS was delivered to Vpost UK address first and the friction mount was delivered on the next day. Guess what? Vpost delivered the friction mount to me but not the GPS. The courier slip from Amazon UK was very clear... 1 item, the friction mount. The invoice I sent to vpost was also very clear - 2 items, friction mount and GPS. Yet Vpost Europe can combine the description and send one item to me. I even suspect foulplay as they sent the cheaper item which was delivered to their UK address later than the GPS, which was delivered earlier. When I asked vpost, they can't locate the GPS. The CS staff isn't very well trained I figure and I lost my cool at her... the 1st time I did on the phone with a CS staff as far as I can recall. She kept asking me for a different order number for the GPS and I kept saying there isn't as the order number was meant for both items. She kept defending vpost saying they don't check the items delivered. In the end I wrote to Amazon asking if they know to whom did they deliver the GPS to. Guess what? Without even asking more questions, they apologise and say they will send me a replacement!! Wow... can you believe that??!! A 120+ quid GPS replaced just like that... I then called Vpost and spoke to the same CS staff... I wanted to highlight this and make sure they keep a look out. I also asked her if Vpost will charge me delivery for this mess... Guess what? Yes they will... It'll probably cost them S$30+ and I will pay but this will be last time I use them. Sheesh... so much for the GEMS campaign... I guess this campaign doesn't apply to gahmen-related companies. Anyone know how I can escalate this? Their cs email will just be sent to the usual bunch of people.
