Not sure if this is true story. Taken from another forum I received a text message saying there was a transaction of max amount drawn on my card yesterday. I called later to check and was told there was a withdrawal done in boon lay area. I informed the staff I did not go to Boon Lay and my card was with me all the while. I was shocked and was directed to lodge a police report right away, in which I did. I was told the dbs bank investigator will be getting in touch with me. A police report was lodged about an hours time and sequence of events was narrated to the police. Today, I went over to POSB bank to hand over my police report at about 11.00 am and to reactivate a new card. Almost the same time, 2K was credited back to my account and I received a call saying the amount has been placed back to my account by the bank. I thank the bank for that. I ponder how on earth did those people got my card and information. The only odd incidence that I came across during the past few days was when I was at NTUC whampoa, withdrawing some cash during noon time and the atmosphere was not normal. The ATM teller was empty and there was a group of guys of varying age between 20 plus to 40 plus, seems to be on the look-out. My first impression was there might be a gang fight and most of em was looking anxiously, on high alert towards the driveway of the road. Well I did my normal withdrawal and left thereafter. From the dressisng of those guys, they looked more like malaysians than local singaporean. I could tell this difference. There were between 6 to 8 people and that caught my attention and was about 30 metres away from where the ATm teller was. I tried calling the bank's line to report on fraudulent withdrawal the second time, i could not get thru yesterday. I presumed there will be lots of other customers calling in to check and report as well. The bank would have the record of those callers called complainant and where the fraudsters commit those offence. If whampoa is where the fraud occured, then those people do not work alone but in big groups. Quite sure they are malaysians, from their dressing. So far, nobody call me for interview or statement. The next time I will bring my pentax camera around and when I see suspicious character, snap some shots for future reference. The information above is for those whosoever is concerned, if it is helpful. I hope we could do our part a little so as to prevent and stop those pest from commiting crime.. Spoilt my night sleep, thinking why, how ???????how come.. stressed

Recently a group of frens went to Sepang to have some fun. I missed the trip but they told me something after the trip:- (The group consists of lambos, E10s, STis. I am not sure whether to believe their Field Report or not although i know they dont usually lie) #1... the e10s (mildly mod) pulled away from the lambos at above 230kml on NS highway #2... the same e10s entered turn 14 side by side with the lambos but beat them once both hit the main straight I havent driven either cars, and find it hard to believe these reports.......... or was it all a matter of drivers' ability?? btw, all agree that the lambos sound great when they pulled!!! Music to the ears

U think this is possible? Subject: 10% commission for recruiting church members! Senior Pastor gets 40% I saw this posting http://sgforums.com/forums/1381/topi...#posts-9886001 Can anyone confirm this?? Today I met with a long lost secondary school friend who is working at city harvest now. She revealed to me the secrets of how CHC and Kong Hee earns big bucks. Actually, from cell group leaders all the way to Kong Hee earn a commission when they get new members to join the church. For example, a member who earns 3k a month is recruited into the church. He donates 10% of his salary which is $300 a month to the church. He will be introduced into a cell group and as long as the cell group leader(CGL) manage to make him stay and make him donate 10% of his salary every month, the CGL will earn a commission. CGL earns 10% of $300 which is $30 a month. Each cell grup is estimated to have around 10 to 30 members so we shall take 20 members in a cell group as a example. The CGL will earn $30 multiply by 20 members which is already $600 a month. On top of that, the CGL will encourage his cell group members to bring new members into the church in which he will get the commission which is $30 a month assuming the person earns 3k a month. The CGL does not tell his cell group members about this so his kum gong cell group members keep on brining in new members not knowing that its the CGL and the Pastors who benefits while they get nothing. The Pastor gets a higher commission of 20% a member. So Pastor gets $60 a member. Each Pastor is in charge of arou! nd 10 cell groups and assuming each cell group have 20 members the Pastor gets $60 x 20 members x 10 cell groups= $12k a month. Kong Hee gets the highest of 40% commission. Assuming that there are 30 000 members in city harvest and earn of them earns 3k a month, he earns $120 X 30 000 members=$3 600 000 a month which is even more than what our Ministers are earning. The remaining 30% which is $90 multiply by 30 000 members=$2 700 000 goes into the church fund which is used to pay staff salaries, electricity bills, investment etc. Do note that using 3k a month salary as a guideline is already very low as CHC is full of rich people who easily earn more than 3k a month. On top of that, CGL and Pastors are entitled to claim for travelling expenses etc so their earnings are much more than that. So people, next time when you want to donate 10% of your salary to CHC think carefully..

Got this email fm a fren, anyone can confirm if this warning is true? ******************************************************************************** **** DEAR FRIENDS If you have ever paid or are thinking of paying 'Coffee Money' when stopped for traffic or other offences while in Malaysia, DON'T EVER Do This Again. The Traffic Department (JPJ) has recently started a campaign to be rid of corruption. Every Officer on duty will be rewarded with RM100.00 if they report each case of bribery to the department. This is how they do (trick you into) it. They will note down the details of your IC/MyKad, and ask you how you want to settle ("Macam mana nak selesai?") If you indicate yes or even offer to give them any money, they will report the incident by rejecting your 'Kopi Money' and get the RM100.00 instead as an incentive for their integrity and "Honest" pubicity. This means that you will end up having a summon issued to you and perhaps a charge for bribery. SO DON'T PAY DUIT KOPI AGAIN, especially if you hope to go free with a lesser amount of money compared to the fine. Even if you want to pay over RM200, the JPJ Officers would rather have a 'good' name than to take your kopi money. Just beware of their trick because the cops are now accumulating 'cookies' points for their promotion and pay increment - with your help if possible. They should have done this to stop corruption long time ago... but anyway it's better late than never, right? SPREAD THIS MESSAGE AROUND TO EDUCATE OTHERS ON THIS NEW ANTI-RASUAH POLICY! AND DON'T YOU DARE TO CORRUPT ANY JPJ OR EVEN POLICE OFFICERS AGAIN!

Hi guys... Let's say I bought a 2L car. How is it possible for me to verify that it is indeed a 2L car and not a 1.8L car? Any test can verify that?
