I've been encountering this problem ever since I started driving here in march. When I want to change lane, mostly because I want to exit from the highway or when I want to make a turn soon, I noticed majority of the behind car on the lane I want to enter would be either simply bo chap and driving as if I don't exist of worse, step on the gas to close in to stop me from entering... What's the problem? Macam like I'm going to outrage their modesty.... Is it so hard to slow down to let ppl enter the lane. I can understand in the case where there is a queue, some car just want to cut queue, that I will be tulan too. What I'm talking about is usual driving speed. Also, I don't mean those sudden "makan" into ppl's lane.

Started this poll mainly because i saw two different honda civic cutting lanes dangerously all in one single day. One along CTE, the other along Upper Paya Lebar Road. Both narrowly avoided accidents with the cars in front, one almost rear ended me... Not saying all honda civic drivers are the same, just so got two in a row on one single day. V-tec power eh? Hate the attitude of not signalling and cutting dangerously. How hard it is to push on the signal lever? Wait till they got cut and crushed by heavy vehicles without signaling then they know how it feels

Out of curiosity, do you usually talk to the stranger beside you on a plane? I was flying back from Sydney once from a business trip and chatted with this girl beside me. Asian but Aussie transiting to Singapore to go to Japan. Found her to be extremely intelligent and fun to chat with. Any other interesting encounters? You can share interesting airport encounters too.

Altis, Vios and Sunny + OPK + Champaign or Silver colour + Auntie = Probable Kayu Driver Spotted! No hard feelings to the great drivers out there that are driving something similar that I mention but the combination usually triggers my honk to inspire their totally insecure driving that can be hazardous! They cut into your lane when they feel like it, They turn out from filter lane as they wish then drives very slowly in front of you, They love driving 30km/h below the speed limit and they usually love to drive on 2 lanes.... Any more encounters to add? I believe most drivers would have their very own kayu radar... Cheers! Gambel32

As per title, usually from past years experience which period we will be asked to give ang pao at CIQ during passport stamping? And how much we expected to pay? And we need to pay when entering JB, exiting, or both? And what happens if we don't give ang pao? They won't chop? Tear your passport?

I was talking with a so called chemical engineer over the weekends. He said now that the 92ron and 95 ron are getting very popular, even more drivers are turining to 92ron. And the 98ron is no longer popular. 1) Meaning that 98ron in petrol station 'refresh' rate is lower, and the octane level MAY drop over the days. If it drop to 95octane, then its not getting the money worth to pump 98ron anymore. 2)95ron gets refreshed more often, the 'excess' of 95ron petrol from the tanker will either be pumped into the underground 92ron(more likely) or 98ron tanks. So he suggested to pump 92ron and occassionally pump 95ron as the 'smart' way to save money in this current high petrol situation. Is he correct in his theory?

I have a wedding banquet to attend this evening. The invitation states 7 pm but I think this is way too early. The banquet is in a hotel. So, can someone tell me when is the best time to go? I only know the bridegroom and nobody else so it will be quite awkward if I go there too early sitting by myself.

Hi Bros, Was wondering anyone got lobang or recommendation for Excess paint remover.. this is usually used for paint touch-up to clean off excess paint after you apply the touch-up layer, without damaging your existing paintwork; something like this Link: http://www.touchup123.com/pc-55-3-glob-doctor.aspx

Just serviced my mom's 4yr old Ignis today and was wondering how much you guys spend on servicing. For me, CLTR + org filter + 4 wheel balancing/rotation + general checks @ $60. Saved abt $100 as compared to servicing @ CM. Have a friend who service his car in JB and he was telling me labour cost is only S$10.

My suspension is already giving strange noises. Every time go over speed bump, goes "GROCK (front), GROCK (rear)". Car is slightly over 1yr old. I heard 1.5yrs and pretty much how far they go if you travel much on those kinda roads Malaysia offers.

Dear MCF Pals Maybe a poll on the average driver's speed on the expressway will be good. So we know whether we are going too slow or too fast in this present day?
