The police had received reports on Monday that two cars were stolen from car parks at Jurong West Street 52 and Boon Lay Drive. "Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras and CCTVs (closed-circuit television), officers from Jurong Police Division, Clementi Police Division, Police Operations Command Centre, Criminal Investigation Department and Police Intelligence Department established the identities of the six men," said the police. The suspects, aged between 14 and 32, were arrested on Monday and Tuesday. The two stolen cars were recovered, said the police, adding that the six men will be charged in court on Wednesday and Thursday with theft of motor vehicles with common intention. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up to seven years and a fine.
  2. Our sinkie poodle force is trained only to "arrest" 17year old anti-pap kids. Fer the little india riots they flee like headless chickens. I also wonder what the outcome would be if the graffiti had been anti-sdp or anti-opposition instead? Lastly, this kind of public display is the direct result of a state controlled puppy dog media who has failed to engage the intelligent reading public and serves up only propaganda and dis-information to the masses. Lets give these poor kids some support http://www.tremeritus.com/2014/05/10/dr-teo-no-breach-of-hdb-rooftop-security-measures/
  3. Three teenagers, aged between 16 and 17, were arrested on Sunday for their suspected involvement in a case of robbery from a taxi at Japanese Gardens Road. The police said in a statement that early on Sunday morning, the taxi driver, who was the victim, made a report that he had been assaulted and robbed of $5 cash. The identities and whereabouts of the suspects were established with the description provided by the victim. Officers from Clementi Police Division then managed to establish the whereabouts of the suspects and arrested all three within eight hours of the time the report was lodged. The 60-year-old said the last thing he heard before he was struck many times with a hammer was 'Money, money, money!'. As a result of the attack, Mr See is suffering from facial and head injuries. He was robbed of S$160 in cash, two lottery tickets and a shopping voucher at Cheng Soon Garden, off Jalan Jurong Kechil, at about 2.50am. "I felt the pain but I didn't know it was a hammer," he said. Mr See can be considered lucky as the second victim has been hospitalised with multiple injuries on his face, head and arm. The unnamed 50-year-old taxi driver was attacked at about 4.25am at a car park in Clementi Avenue 3, but the robbers fled empty-handed. At about 5.20am, the robbers struck again. Their third victim was 52-year-old Fong Peng Weng who was robbed of his mobile phone and about S$300 in cash, but he was left unhurt.
