https://sg.news.yahoo.com/driver-investigated-videos-taken-pm-lees-eldest-son-105034248.html This driver is darn stupid, just drive and mind his own business and nothing would had happened. What for post this video online for people to see, somemore the rider is Lhl son. See la now the driver kanna hot soup. Stupid driver. For sure one must be professional in the work. Like for driving grab/go jek etc. Cannot suka suka intorograte people, cannot suka suka see wa I am fetching a famous person, must take video and then show off to people I fetch so and so. That's not professional. Hope other drivers to realise this. Like for me I just drive, I don't care who the person is, I just drive to ensure rider reach destination safely. Of coz if rider open up conversation, I will then start talking to the rider too, but then I will not ask personal questions, just see what rider talk and go with the flow, that's it.

About 30 students in an all-boys school were caught having upskirt photos and videos of six of their female teachers on their smartphones, this month. Their principal told The New Paper (TNP) on Friday (Oct 28) that the school administered public caning to seven students who had taken these images of their teachers. TNP was informed about the incident by a member of the public. We are not naming the school to protect the teachers involved. The school's principal said they first received information about the photos and videos on Oct 5. He said he launched an investigation that day to round up the culprits. Most of the 30 students were in Sec 2 and 3, and a handful in Sec 1. Said the principal: "It's not acceptable behaviour for young men. "As men, they are supposed to protect the ladies, not take advantage of them. To do something like this is so very wrong." Read the full report in The New Paper on Saturday (Oct 29). wah which school is this!

Hey Bro and Sis - I know we have a few RC Model / Plane / Drone enthusiasts here Anyone that would be capable of taking drone pictures of an empty plot of land one weekend soon? Want to put some amature pix into a presentation I am doing, but not sure where to get a drone from (and won't be able to spend for professional level) - although I likely can buy a few beers and pocket marney for a MCFer Cheers!

finally set my mind to take class 2b 10 years after i pass my class 3. it was quite a strange feeling to be in the same place again. one thing i notice is that i think they (CDC) are earning big bucks. The counter girl told me that the booking area is practically full everyday. weekend is even worse. it no wonder why they want to kill off private instructors slowly...

Just to share a good experience i had with a used car dealer which i am in no way related to him. sign the sales contract and took over a 2009 car in week 2 of 2013. Only verbally agreed that i will come back to him if my car got any problem with the next 2 weeks. Car was in good condition when i test drive.. call me a easy buyer .. anyway its a bread and butter car so i didnt srutinise the car maybe like other detail buyers .. Test driven once and was happy with the visual inspection.. decided to buy after some consideration. Last week, the door indicators were faulty. went down to their associated WS for repair.. but before i could make it.. realise i got a bigger problem. Coolant is empty.. after 2 refills.. must be a leak somewhere .. Alerted the dealer and he was ok i include this in the repair job today.. Guess what, he honour what was promise and got me a brand new radiator.. Phew, i was glad and really please with this dealer ..i wasnt expecting this after reading so many bad remarks about the used car business. Bros, i guess it isnt everyday we meet a "honest" fella in the used car business.. so i thought i should share this with you folks :)

was checking the MAS factsheet that was given to me by citibank. 1 mth sibor highest record in their factsheet is 20% in Jan-98. But i check everywhere, incl factsheet that other bank provided... never has 1mth sibor close the 10% mark..(MAS site) Either the factsheet bear incorrect information, or the citibank's sibor is higher than other banks. *pretty scary* if their sibor rate is higher than other bank even in the same given mth.

It took 30 years to build a mindset for what it is today (kiasu, competitive, result, awards, numbers, etc), now they want to go back to basic. How long do you think it takes to reverse the mindset and parents will REALLY don't have to worry about which school to go to, less tuition for the children, focus on non academic activities or on the special talents?

MCFers are definitely not the average car buyers as here all buy cars with cash. MORE and more premium-brand customers are taking vehicle loans as car prices rise but there does not appear to be much change among buyers of mass-market makes, say some motor distributors. They refuse to be named or give details, citing confidentiality, but say their numbers prove it. "We have seen more buyers taking financing over the last three to six months," said the general manager of a small high-end make. He added that the average loan quantum taken is 80 per cent of the car price, or $120,000 to $130,000, to be repaid over eight to nine years. "Traditionally, the loan quantum goes up with the car price for our brand, that is to say, the average loan quantum was about $10,000 lower three months ago," he explained. For a loan of $100,000 repayable over 10 years, the rough guide is that a $10,000 increase in loan quantum translates into an extra $100 in monthly instalments. "It's not that painful when it is spread out over 10 years as it only costs slightly more each month," he explained. "Most Singaporeans are not getting richer, so they have to survive by taking bigger loans." But the sales manager of a mass-market make says that the hire-purchase situation over the past half year has not changed for his so-called bread-and-butter models, the majority of which have 1,600 cc engines or smaller. "Most of them are still applying for 100 per cent loans over 10 years," he says. Over at a big luxury brand, however, a senior manager said that his company's "loan penetration rate" has climbed in the last three months. "Our average quantum has gone up by about $20K to $180,000 in the last quarter," he revealed. "And the number of people requiring vehicle financing has increased by 3 or 4 per cent." Today, about eight out of 10 customers take a car loan. A manager at a sports car dealership also affirms the rising trend for financing but offers a different view of things. "It is true that in the last three to six months, our loan business has increased by 15 to 20 per cent," he says. "One year ago, about 30 to 40 per cent of my customers took up a loan. Now, it's 50 to 60 per cent." But he says the real reason is not the increase in car prices. "A $20,000 to $30,000 difference in COE premium is not significant for my customer profile," he said, pointing to his line-up of models, which range from about $300,000 to $800,000, including COE. "Rather, it is because the cost of borrowing is at an all-time low of 1.88 per cent." According to him, the interest rate a couple of years ago used to be 2.5 per cent or higher. As for the increase in loan quantum, he said that bank promotions with attractive rebates have been instrumental in getting more of his customers to sign up for financing. "They probably want to keep more cash for investments," he added.

A company driver was sentenced to one week's jail for using criminal force on another man at a carpark, reported The Straits Times. Victor Seet Keng Huat, 51, admitted to arm-locking the 24-year-old man's neck and forcing it downwards at an open space carpark next to 313@Somerset on Aug 19 last year. The victim, Dr Cheow Xunqi, was in his car with Dr Eileen Sim Yilin, 24, at about 11.10pm that day. Dr Sim turned on her engine and was using her mobile phone global positioning system to plot her route when Seet suddenly parked his car in front of them. He left the car, making it impossible for them to leave the carpark lot. The two doctors then alighted and attempted to look for him. When he came back shortly after, they asked why he had parked his car in front of theirs. Seet said he had done so because Sim had taken a long time to leave the carpark lot, before walking away. When Dr Cheow asked him the same question again, Seet suddenly used his left arm to hold the victim in an arm-lock and forced his head downwards. He also dragged Dr Cheow a few steps forward before the victim managed to break away. Source: http://motoring.asiaone.com/Motoring/News/...620-354182.html

Just now, at about 7:45 pm at the the small road outside Parkview Suites parallel to Rochor Road, a man in security guard uniform, which I guess should be that of Parkview Suites, took a photo of my car when I was waiting for my wife. After that, he walked away quickly towards other cars around the bend. I was thinking what the heck did he do it? Is he some kind of vigilante TP or what? Yes, it is a double yellow line, but there was absolutely no problem of traffic obstruction. Ahead of me, there were two other cars PARKED there with no driver in sight!
