Hi, Recently, I sent my car for a major servicing (replacement of timing belts + other belts + water pump + oil change). These are what I observed after the service: 1) I noticed that the coolant temp takes a long time (10mins) to "warm up". Used to take only 2-3 mins when using WaterWetter and distilled water. Now using Shell coolant, I think it's the pre-mixed type. The temp needle also doesn't go up to as high a point as previously. Question: Is the temperature probe replaced together with the water pump? Is there something wrong with the temp probe? Does Shell pre-mix coolant lower the temperature? 2) Fuel consumption went up from 12.5km/l to 11.5km/l. Question: Is it normal for fuel consumption to go up after such a major servicing? Any advice/comments are welcome! Thanks!
