The babies have been reunited with their biological parents and are doing well. KKH said the incident came to light when one of the parents noticed that the baby taken home wore an identification tag belonging to another mother. This happened about an hour after they brought him home. KKH said all babies have double tags, and this baby had an incorrect tag and a correct tag on his legs when he was given to the wrong parents. The hospital suspected that checks were not carried out properly when the baby was being discharged. The other baby, also a boy, was with the wrong parents for about 10 hours. He was wearing two correct tags but was given to the wrong set of parents during discharge. The hospital informed the parents after a blood test of the first baby confirmed the mix-up. It has conducted DNA tests on the babies and is waiting for the results. KKH said on Monday that it deeply regrets this error and is now carrying out thorough investigations to find out how this error occurred. It is extending full support to both families -- medically and emotionally. Both mothers have been offered counselling by the hospital. KKH said it takes a very serious view of the incident and it unreservedly apologised to the parents for this error and pledged to take all steps to prevent any recurrence. A full review is being carried out, and the Ministry of Health has been informed. - CNA/lp

Just wondring as i ride on the road. I have seen cars that looks like brand new, yet they are having very old car plate such as SD-something, or even SC-something... so I'm wonder, did they swap car plate? I thought even if u renew the COE, u will be given another car plate number?

Weber with jettings etc. A set of 4 normal springs. Gear shift assembly. 2 x Rear spoiler. Rear Hatch Door Panel. . A pair of Rear Tail Light with LED reverse light. Just asking if anyone is interested in wheels + tyres swap. Cause I am just looking for some smaller 16" rims with tyres that is enough to last me 2yrs. My rims got curb rashses and need to be repaired of course. My rims are 18" Q Brand (it has a letter Q on the rims, don't know the brand) and 225/40/18 tyres but they are 5yrs old liao. Need to be changed. But I don't look for any fancy expensive rims. Just something that could fit my car and help me get better FC. My main purpose is for better FC. Cause my COE left just 1yr 10 months.

Hey mates im thinking of doing the about to crank even more bhp out so im thinking of either swapping the existing TB (not sure of diameter) with a 60mm/57mm TB or getting it bored out. This is on a W204 M271 engine so anyone has any idea of the possible gains?

According to a recent report, Nissan and Daimler are discussing swapping engines and electric vehicle technology. While details are limited, Japan's Nikkei business daily said Nissan wants "large" engines from Daimler. In exchange, Nissan would provide Daimler with electric vehicles, batteries, and/or equity. The paper added Daimler is already in talks with Renault, so discussions would likely be expanded into three-way negotiations. Later this week, Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn will brief executives on the details of the proposed partnership talks. If everything goes according to plan, three-way negotiations will occur shortly. The report also stated Daimler is eager to reach a deal before their general shareholders meeting on April 14. While no reason was cited, the paper said Daimler wants to be cautious about entering another capital tie-up. -

Any shop to intro to swap rims? i know most tyre shop able to do it. but where and what is the reasonable rate? heard from $20-$30 per car? actually i wonder swap rims, necessary to do balancing? just do a direct swop wont it solve the problem?

Many people change car because they usually become bored and itchy after few years driving the same car (Of course there may be other reasons too). Actually Iam one of them. Will it not be good if there is an avenue for these people to trade/swap their cars? Are there people here who fall into this category who would consider trading their car with other fellow members with or without topups depending on the age, model, etc? Thank you.

Man City's Robinho in swap deal with Barca? hate to see this kinda news leh... if this really happens in Jan... 1. poor old Puyol and Henry Puyol - loyal fierce captain and one-club man of Barca... come on, let him go on another couple of years and retire proudly at Barca! dun be like Real Madrid last time when they treated Hierro badly Henry - give that guy some dignity lah... he may be old and lost some pace, but at least he helped Barca to clinch the historic treble last season... at least let him go back to Arsenal or France on the free.. 2. Robinho what can i say about this guy? he's talented, but his character and attitude are questionable... he left Santos for Real (fine, coupled with the reason that his mother was kidnapped in Brazil) then he cried to leave Real for being "treated" unfairly... and he's reported to think he's joining Man Utd instead of Man City... well at Man City, now he wants to engineer to move to Barca after the team is being built around him... dun buy him Barca! he will lead the Brazilians in the team to party all night [sly] (forgot Ronaldinho?)

Hi all, Just curious, have any of you done a swap of car with 2nd hand car dealer before? Since some of you suggested that I looked at a used car, I was thinking how does the mechanic works in this case. Assuming your relatively new car price is almost at par with the used car that you want to take, what is the normal price to pay to the dealer? As I've seen in other threads that a 2nd car dealer typically earned 5K in a sales transaction. Any other advice? Thank you very much. Regards,

Yesterday's news. US Federal Reserve announced US$30bil swap line each to Brazil, Mexico, South Korea and Singapore "to help those countries ease a credit squeeze." The Fed had extended a US$15bil swap line with NZ a day earlier. I don't think the Fed does this for fun. But is there a credit squeeze in Singapore? (Obviously it won't be reported in ST.)

i am thinking of getting a full coilover setup , so if you want something really sporty that hugs the road, let me know. i've got Bridgestone Potenza Gymkhanas absorbers. They are actually made by KYB. Gymkhana means carpark rally in Japanese, so that gives you an idea of the ride quality. Front and rear are both hard/soft adjustable. No leaks. Test rides available. cheap cheap swap with your setup plus $280 (neg) plus Saber's dinner (u neg with him) they have cut-springs on them now. you can take them as a set or use your current springs - just as long as you leave me with a working set of back-up suspension.

Hi, Here's the scenario: You are enjoying your drive and keeping to your lane when suddenly this car on your left eats into your lane. You don't not enough time to check the mirrors to make the right decision. Should we (a) swap to the right to prevent hitting that car but eats into someone else's lane by doing so or (b) just jam brake and pray that your tailgater don't hit your bumper?

hi all experts, kindly advice on the following pls. currently i'm running on 185/60R14 rims n tyres. the stock size frm my manual is 185/70R13. my aunt selling her ride to dealer who says they r gonna scrap her car, so i thought if there's any way i can get her rims. btw, they r 195/55R15 tyres n racing hart rims. 1. is it possible to use her rims n tyres on my ride? 2. if yes, what would be the best way to go abt the swap, ie transfer mine for hers' directly? ( dunno if this is good cos my set can fetch $200 frm trade in) or since its gonna be scraped, the wheels r not necessary. pls advice me.. thanks in advance.
