Morning , Any bros encounter when travelling 80km/hr to 100km/hr....got "Tatatata" sound coming from front passenager side. When i am travelling below 80km/hr got no "Tatata" sounds. I checked my under carriage, no debris stuck.......wondering what causes the sound...... Btw, i am driving a 1.5A Swift. Thanks,

hi just wanna ask, not sure how it can be done or whether can or not. I sometimes hear those lorry (not sure if the sound is coming through their horn or not) play those godfather music or funny music very short only. wondering if that is legal? its quite amusing to be honest. lol anyone know?

Hi Bros, my Getz is 8yrs old with 100k mileage. a) Recently, noted that when I step/dab accl, can hear high pitch squel, not loud but still audible. b) Despite changing to new battery, occasionally car sounds "stressed" starting up. ( though can start at 1st attempt) c) never change alternator b4. Not sure about starter motor. d) Steering wheel produces soft whiny sound when turning. But other than that, cant feel any diff. e) slightly higher idling. approx. from 650rpm to now 700-750 rpm. f) I am the only owner since new. g) No mods done other than cosmetic. h) Timing belt changed at 80k mileage & did the SOP major servicing. (also changed engine mount ) I) Used a KNN filter from 17k - 97k mileage. Now using normal air filter. J) Recently changed cooling coil for air con. Any bro here able to advice what could be wrong & the approx. cost to replace those parts? Thanks.

okay, i bought a honda jazz back in dec 2011, till date only change rims. not even tyres. this only happen everything after i start the engine for a ride. traffic lights and stationary car wont produce this sound. the car tend to produce when i turn (eg. turn out from carpark lot or turning a bend in carpark) some sort of rubbing sound but comes along like a hydraulic being depress and release. got the gas release sound. happens regardless i turn left or right. anyone met this before? wanna bring to workshop soon, but don wish to kena carrot by changing a lot of parts..

Last evening the weird sounding Thunder started. Now also heard very interesting thundering. Not the usual short and sharp 'KaBoom' sound. More like a old man grumbling.....long drawn out 'BooZoomHooHooHoo' Is this a sign that the heaven is telling us something??

After ruling the place mostly unchallenged, and 'absorbed' all the so called 'top brains' / scholars etc, and led by some 'great' multi-million dollar men, plus imposing all sorts of rules that stifle any oppositions big or small...... what have they got to show us in regard to their successors for our country in the coming years (assuming they will still rule for quite a few more years to come)?.......... Given their size and dominant position in local politics, they dont seem to have natured some convincing successors to take over sooner and later..... what heve they been doing? counting and designing more pay rises?.... what's going on? Sure, you can say they are keeping their cards close to the heart until the last moment before erection... but come on, any one with half intelligence will be able to see the calibre of the 'likely' names they can come up with........... those slightly older likely candidates?.... seriously, are they good enough and have they really proven themselves other than hiding under 'the skirt'? ...........the younger ones? obviously they are still wet between their ears politically speaking.......... sadly, in recent years they have recruited mainly ex-NTUCers, ex-military officers, ex-civil servancts, etc etc and very few who really belong to and have genuine compassions, instead of merely parroting repeated slogans, for the masses......... no wonder they become THE 'elite' group....... cant fool us with their veneer of 'representing all walks of lives' slogan.......... rubbish at its best Ok, if they feel their 'successors' are good enough and are convinced that pple will really vote for them, let's see if they dare take the challenge and pitch these names against the oppositions (better still, against the big guns in opp) in single wards and let the votes decide if they have the respect and support of the people.......... face the real test and not hide under the skirt fashioned as GRC........... where's their confidence and guts after 45 years of ruling the pple??.... we want to see it The time has come (in next few weeks) to give them a wake up calls and that they cant take us for granted anymore.............. vote wisely my friends ....... the 'giant' can take nap and we own it to ourselves / our children to send a strong signal to shake / wake up the slumbing 'have-been'.....

ok, just as i thought my 3yrs+ samsung lcd is dying, it seems the problem doesnt lies with the lcd.... i hear some static sounds from the lcd tv, sounds from speakers confirmed... if lower the volume, no more static sounds......did a quick verification, it seems like only on chan-8, chan-U, chan-5, cna and okto has it.... suria and varatham dont have.... i've verified with another smaller panasonic lcd tv..... confirm the statics sounds are from the tv signal...not sure why it's like that, could it be the tv port faulty?..... before i make any phone call, anyone else has this problem??....

Hi all Subaru owners, especially those with TB charged ones. I am driving a Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.0GT, bought 2nd hand for 8mths now. Everything was in very good condition till recently: 1)when turbo boost kicks in, the engine sputters, sounds like misfiring 2)erratic idling with engine vibrating violently especially with aircon turned off Went to check, had four ignition coils changed which solved the misfire, denso iridium spark plug checked and still looking beautiful; had the throttle body and air filter cleaned and found a loose air pipe disconnected, rectified the problem with a simple add-on clip to secure piping; but after one day of perfect driving with no hiccups, during 2nd day startup in the morning, low idling problem comes back with CEL on and Cruise light blinking. My car runs when and everything but idling got issues. After driving for a while CEL light will be gone. Previously system showed TOO LEAN. If I put to DRIVE and don't step accelerator, the car runs like out of breathe; on straight road moves forward a bit then slows, then move forward then slows,can hear from the erratic combustion in the engine. Can any subaru TB owners give some advise on potential flaws? Will send back to trusted mechanic to check again, hopefully this time is just one of the smaller pipes hidden behind throttle body came loose. There are squeaking sound whenever i get into the car or when I push my boot downwards. Is this a sign that my suspensions are spoil?

help! when i start my car yesterday, i noticed a change in my exhaust note and it becomes extra loud as if like an REX. however i did not notice any loss of performance and idling was still normal. anyone noes wat happened to my exhaust? is it leaking somewhere?

Few days ago i realized that sometimes when i tun my wheels, they make a creaking sound. Happens only sometimes and not all the times. Anyone know what might be the cause? I know its nothing big but it sure as hell is irritating. Thanks

Hi guys, i have very obvious crackling sounds at higher frequencies with my pioneer HU after going active while listening to radio. Listening to CDs is great though. Are there anyways to reduce this high pitch crackling? Also, my speakers will sound whenever there is a incoming mobile signal eg. sms or call. is this due to poor installation or not avoidable? Hi guys, Need some advice on my Kia Rio 1.5 (41km mileage - slightly more than 3 years). Recently I heard knocking sounds in front of my car when I am braking easy (light pressing) to a slow stop and I suspect its my front right disc brake. It will be like tock tock tock x times (quite rhythmic and evenly distributed sound) and stops when the vehicle stops to stationary. It doesn't seem happen when I brake harder perhaps just a single tock sound before car halts. What could be wrong? Brake pads (have not changed yet)? Rotor warped (i dont feel the vehicle wobbling during breaking though)? Can someone also recommend a trusted ws to check this (eastern side) cos I have no contacts at the moment? Check all 4 to be safe? Thanks for reading.

I just changed my brake discs and brake pads. On the 2nd day, I heard some sounds coming from the front of the car. I'm not sure whether is it the brakes or not. When I move off slowly and gently press the brake, everything is fine. However, after travelling at higher speeds (e.g. 40km/h) and I start to brake, initially it would be fine. However, when the speed slows down to 25km (approximately) or lesser, there will be this 'grock grock grock' sound and it gets slower as the car moves slower until it comes to a complete stop. This has been happening for the past two days. Is this normal after a brake disc + pad change? Or is there a problem? If it's the latter, what is roughly wrong with it?

Bros, I am driving a CVT Mit Colt (1 and 1/2 yrs). Recently, I have a strange clicking sound when starting off from stationary. The sound seems to be coming from underneath the centre of my front 2 seats. In addition, I have loud clicking sounds when going upslope (like those found in multi storey carpark) and making turns (close to full turns). These sounds seems to be coming from my from wheels. Suspension/brake probs? Or worst gear box prob??

hi all, when playing radio channels, the sound is very flat. Almost like a laptop speaker However, when playing CDs, the sound is better. can hear the bass and mids difference. any idea why? my amp and front components are ported from my previous car, and they sounded equally good with radio and CDs. i'm using a Sony HU that came stock with the FL Lancers, front JBL components, a single 4-ch amp powering the front and woofer, and a 10" Cadence woofer. Rear speakers are stock and powered by the HU. i installed my ICE at a shop at Mackenzie. He said "its like that one".
