I'm driving a swift sport zc31 manual. My clutch slip when I accelerate over 3k rpm. The acceleration comes in after a delay of about 2sec. When I floor, the Rpm will rise like it's in neutral gear and then will go down and accelerate the speed. I just changed a recon gearbox and new clutch kit 2 mths ago. Went back to the workshop and they told me it's normal cuz I changed a normal clutch, if I change a racing clutch then won't have this problem. Anyone can help on this?

Hi everyone i need some help .......on Wed 2nd December time around 2.30pm i was hit on my left side by a lorry YM5799G my in car cam hang and did not rec the accident. So i was hoping anyone who was behind me recorded the accident and can give me a copy ? The lorry driver change his story so his and mine are different ...... Thanks in advance .

Guys, my helper has problem washing the roof of my car (Estima) as she cannot reach it. I bought the anti-slip stool from IKEA (Those higher ones) but she wanted something higher. Anyone has recommendations? It has to be anti-slip as I also do not want her to slip. Thks.

Morning driving between SLE and CTE slip road, travelling at good speed. Am already traveling at 80km with criss cross traffic from CTE to Yio Chu Kang. This idiot honda stream tired to accelerate from back to filtering right. Unless you are driving a Porsche, I gladly let you thru quickly, else the I can't exit to CTE with your turtle speed! Notice this guy is changing 3 lanes at one go in 7:45 am traffic too.

Normally we want to workshop for tyre rotation or change new tyre. They did tyre balancing with a stand alone machine with the tyre and rim turing. So what is aligment check? It is neccessary when changing to new tyre that i need to go for aligment? Will a side slip test do the job?

Guys, Need your advise. When engaged reverse gear, the car never moves and I need to rev to about 2 rpm in order to reverse it slowly. Anyone ever encounter this problem? Is it a clutch slip? My ride is Wish.

Parked my car without coupon that morning. When i returned to my car, fatimaah was walking away from my car, hand holding that machine thingy. Sprint to my windscreen and notice that there's no offence paper slip! Have they gone high tech? Paperless parking offence recording? So should i be expecting a fine in my letterbox soon? anyone encounter this before?

Guys, Pls drive carefully and do not speed while exiting ECP from City to Still Road/Marine Parade. The angle of this slip road is very bendy and there are a lot of blind spot in front of this slip road (traffic jam from MP Rd/ Still Rd junction, taxi stopping illegal at the side road or even vehicle broken down) For the past 4yrs staying at the block next to it, I have been witnessing many incidents at the same spot, same location. Recent incident was early this morning, I was rudely awaken by a loud bang ard 430am when it started to drizzle. I peek out the window and saw a van turned side-ways, blocking the whole slip road. A month ago, another car skidded and hit the railing at the same spot. One year ago, another car faced the same fate. Sometimes in the middle of the night, can hear those crash-wannabe driver zooming their vehicle exiting this slip road.

Firstly, i will need all the kind MCF forumer's help, hope you guys could really help me. Behold a lengthy post. Few months ago, around march, while driving during peak hour traffic with some drizzle, i got into an accident with a motorcycle. I was on lane 1, the car in front of me jammed brake and i had to jammed brake too. As lane 1 was extremely congested and i was stucked in non-moving traffic, i decided to filter into lane 2. I checked my blind spot and tried to filter into lane 2, this moment i committed a catastrophic mistake here by not signalling, a speeding motorcyclist travelling in between lane 1 and 2 jammed braked and skidded right beside me before i actually even filtered into lane 2. He fell down and i stopped my car and helped him and everything. His bike was okay but his arm was scratched. We exchanged particulars and he said i just had to pay for his medical bills which would not be too expensive(<$100), I agreed because i was partly at fault, even though i never did knocked into him. Fast forward, he tried to extort from me saying he has pain here and there, the paint on his bike need to be resprayed and also need to redo some balancing on his bike, in total he wants 500 bucks. As i'm just a poor NSF driving a cheap tiong chia, i decided to consult my mother as the car is under her name and she has more driving experiences than me, and that the amount of 500 dollars is not a small sum. My mother told me that i do not have to bother because the most important thing is i never knocked into him. Therefore i told him that i'm willing to pay him like 100 dollars, anything more, he has to claim insurance. He told me it's okay and he's going to make me pay more, i didn't bother and thought much about it. Insurance and his lawyer letter came, told me to file an accident report at both my insurance and at the police. I did so. Fast forward again, his claim at the insurance was successful because he probably got some of his abangs in TP/working as lawyers or whatever because even my insurance co did say that it actually isn't really my fault and i don't have to pay, just didn't know why his claim went through. There goes my mother's NCD for second car. I sold the car not long ago too and i was unable to claim back my premium that I've paid like 3 months ago(meaning i paid a year's premium but used only 3 months) because the insurance said i'd been claimed before. That car's insurance was around 4k, the lost is around 3k but my mother just tell me to take it as a lesson learnt. Fast forward till today, I just gotten a summon from TP dept claiming i didn't drove with due care or in an orderly manner and i have to pay a $200 fine and get 6 demerit points. The fine of 200 dollars seem to be like just a small amount compared to the 50% NCD lost and the 3k lost in premium, but i'm really pissed for being faulted and getting demerit points. Is there a channel for me out there to get this summon of 6 demerit points voided? The reason so is because i need my 24 points back and i'm currently only left with 6 points. Can i write in some where or go to the traffic police department and look for someone to talk to.. or yea, really need help here. Last night after driving in very heavy rain, my CVT car suddenly jerked when going up the slope of my MSCP. It somehow managed to clear the slope but continued jerking when I stepped on accelerator when on level ground. Feeling is like kenna stuck in a high gear in slow speed. I stopped my car, changed to neutral, then changed back to D and the problem went away. Anyone experienced this before? Could it be something to do with the rain? Now a bit scared when driving at high speed. BTW my car mileage ~25k km.

Mediacorp was caught secretly preparing for election this year. This was highlighted in Yawning Bread blog showing mediacorp website with the page title showing "General Elections 2009", while the content still remains on 2006 election. This is obvious that Mediacorp is preparing the General Election website for this year. Now question is how do Mediacorp knows about this? Hi guys.. Wonder if you guys encountered such stupid drivers.. I was along Fort road and is preparing to enter ECP towards changi, thus was driving along the slip road that joins with ECP. In front of me there is first a van, then an altis, then me. Usually when you are about the join the main expressway traffic, there is a chevron, then pass the chevron you will start to filter to the lanes on the right. The van is slow, so driver decides to stays on left most lane. The altis is following closely behind the van, without any indication that he is gg to filter right. As the speed is slow, i signaled, checked blind spot and start to accel and filter to right.. Then at this moment, the stupid altis starts to edge out without any warning as my car nose is already at his rear wheels level. I honked and he just carried on his manouvre. To avoid an accident, i have no choice by to jz take avoidance measure and go right again.. then to my horror there is fast approaching white grandis, which has to slowed down as he witness what was happening infront and he was prepared... To the Grandis, my sincere apologies.. to the altis uncle, please wake up your farking idea.
