Hi Guys.. I've got 2 choices now.. Sinota/Simota Drop-In Air Filter at S$70. VS Hurricane Drop-In Air Filter at S$90. Both Brand New. Anybody tried these two? Any comments which is better? Lets not look at the Figures. I just want comments about the Performance, Fuel Efficiency. I heard that Hurricane Filter have bigger holes in the filter, which means more dust can get thru' it. Any comments..? -
Wondering anyone here wash their Openpod filter or not? How to wash? Using water? Thanks for any advice.

Has anyone tried both K&N and Simota stainles steel drop in filter and would like to give some comments/reviews? I know that have been many posts on air filters but just trying to find out from people who has actually tried both, thanks.

It's the enclosed cone filter.. stainless steel mesh. from the time i had it installed til the time i took it out to wash, all was fine. loud induction roar but still bearable. after i replaced it, i get a irritating buzz above 3k rpms, particularly with throttle above half opening... . can even feel the vibration from the passenger side dashboard any bros had this problem? i tried to remove it and re-install it but the sound only reduced by maybe 1/3rd.. still quite irritating wondering if i shd take the trouble to go down to ADM (where i bought it) or did i miss out anything when i re-installed it

DIY a ADM aircharger Ver2 + Simota Carbon filter (both bought used) on my 8 Seater before my Genting Highland trip on 5th to 8th May. Slight improvement on pickup from D2 onwards but still short of what I was looking for, looks like I'm slowly turning to the 'dark' side

Hi guys, Understand the Simota range is pretty popular in here, I'm just wondering if anyone has info about its effiency and filtration capabilities? From their website, their cotton filters require regular cleaning and oiling. Dropped their tech support a mail and was told the cleaning interval is every 5K. Does anyone have any comments? Thanks

anybody with simota carbon fiber aero form intake knows where to get replacement of inside air filter? FK says they don't have. is it maintained by using air gun to blow during normal servicing? when do you need to replace it? I am thinking of getting a used one. Hi guys, I installed a simota carbon charger on my ride some time back. Would like to know from the bros here where do you go to have the filter cleaned? I heard from my friends that they use a blower to blow the dust off the filter. Is that true? Thx in advance!

Anyone installed? Do you feel any difference? I had it installed, the immediate feeling is "what the heck??? where is the diff" as I drove out of McWell onto the stretch of road outside....rev a bit, no diff also..... waste $$$. Denso iridium is a better buy.... Then came night time, was in a hurry along TPE, came upon a car on lane 1who refuse to give way. So no choice, go from the left to over take. At almost 100, I rev again, and find that my car seems like to have a little bit more power , & overtook at 120. This is something which I find lacking in my Jazz previously, rev already also no power to overtake...... Well, I think must try somemore, probably N-S highway is a better testing ground..... for those who has this installed, how do you feel??? The difference is marginal..... may try an open-pod next time.... At least this thing does void warranty.... I hope.
