  2. Bros Any good tire shine to recommend?? Been looking for one, and tried some foam types but the results are not that good..
  3. Hi. Anybody can recommend me which brand can last longer for tyre shine?
  4. Hello everyone, Does anyone know any shop which sells the type of dressing tyre shops use? I'm refering to the milky liquid, think its silicone based. Thanks.
  5. I am sure there are way too may polish company out there. Some have mention 9H hardness Some say glass coating other says ceramic coat But is there like a standard where optical brightness or coating before and after have a benchmark of quality that you can identify with other than, wah swee. Polish liao kilat kilat. May not mean much. Plus you spending a $1xxx into it. Only to have word of mouth from one person to the next. Is there like a tick, check box like window tint to validate the shine ?
  6. Hi, I want to self-detail to the "wet look" that I have been seeing recently, is it through normal waxing? How do I achieve that? TIA!
  7. Just a few before n after pics. They use chemical guys which is rare in the market
  8. Hi, any1 tried amazing shine at kaki bukit before? How is it? My previous detailed is cs2 but warranty over and they charge quite ex for repeat customer, so now thinking of trying other detailer
  9. Bros and sis, I am looking for a good tyre shine that last and does not splash off to the car body. Any recommendations? Use to like the Meguiar's purple endurance range when my car was black. Now its silver and it splashes off the body. I have one that shines well now but after heavy rain, bo liao! So waiting for users of other brands to give feedback!
  10. I noticed there's no showroom to share some of the hard work detailer's here go through. Care to post some before, during, after pictures of your work and products used? NB: Please don't use this to market other people's/groomers work. Anyone wish to start?
  11. Hi, I went to 3mendouz at Wcega Plaza few weeks back but realised it has been taken up by another company. Anyone knows where it has moved to or if it has closed down? I couldn't find its website too. Thanks!
  12. Hi all, Not a promoter for this product but wanna share my experiences using it. I've been detailing my own car using this process 1. Washing 2. Claying 3. Polish (scratches and etc) then waxing. I typically use Soft 99's water repellent which is pretty good, until I saw this Giant selling at about $19.99. Basically, just spray on, wait for dirt to come out, then spread around using any general applicator, then buff off with clean microfibre cloth. Results were pretty awesome!! Water repellent at its best, I even used it on my windscreen/windows/rear windscreen. Not necessary to wash car to use this (which I like), just leaving it on to see how long does the water repellent properties last (since its the monsoon season now). Who else using this?
  13. Fren just bought a 2006 car, both AA and trusted regular workshop assessed it and said the 45,000km mileage was genuine based on their inspection. The puzzling part is that the paintwork looks really shiit! It looks like someone has used dish washing detergent to bath the car, it looks almost matt! There are hairline scratches, or rather fine cracks here n there. Workshop said need a respray coz no amount or wax + polish can salvage the shine Any advice if there are other methods to restore the shine? Many thanks in advance. The quote fir respray is about 1.5k for the forester. reasonable?

  15. http://www.groupon.sg/deals/singapore/-65-...-130-/715838923 anyone gonna try? Groupon seems to have more and more car deals
  16. I hope Singaporeans attend and give our support to the opposition members. They have to sacrifice a lot to do this, to stand up for ordinary Singaporeans. Even if it rains, i saw thousands of Singaporeans attending yesterday's rallies. I was standing under the rain without a brollie. It be very sad and heartbreaking for the speakers to speak under the rain with no one listening. Yesterday, it was very heartening to see so many Singaporeans so passionate about our country. Makes me believe that there still is hope. Come on support them! Our presence means a lot.
  17. http://www.razor.tv/site/servlet/mini_gesi...2588#player_top After effects of stroke? Obviously problem with speech but mind seems still sharp. Not sure if he can win the crowd over though...
  18. Hi all, anyone using the above polish? any feedbacks? thanks
  19. Any bro knows where to get this in Singapore? Ive been searching around after hearing rave reviews but havnt been able to find!
  20. My ride's rim already turn a bit gold-brown when I compare with those new rides...does any of the rim polishes on shelves helps to bring back that shiny look? how about durogloss wheel cleaner?
  21. Please... you do not own the road.... if your driving is weak, the 1st lane doesn't deserve a driver like you. Speed limit is 90... what are you doing on the 1st lane at 70km/h on the 1st lane even in the rain???? You go even slower in the bends!!!!! When is raining in the bends... you can drop speed to 50km/h.... isn't it no difference from lane 2?? To Look good... let people admire your car or just so to be a kind soul to stop people from going faster than you? Like i said... if you are weak, move to the 2nd lane for beginner or weak drivers. We do not need your braking and your red tail lights to come on when you're in the 1st lane. If you say lane 2 and 3 is slow.... then I'll say to you... you are no better than lane 2 or 3. I have so much more to say.... maybe i'll save some for later....
