hey guys, any recommendation of places to do tyre rotation and balancing? Normally how much will it cost?

Hi Guys, got a question and need advice here. lets say car is FWD/RWD, rotate tyre at 10k. does it make sense to rotate next at 30k? since at 10k, lets say front tyre wear 20% and rear 10%, so after rotating and mileage at 20k, should be front and rear balanced, right? i know driving style play a part during the 10-20k, just saying generally.

Did tyres rotation recently with balancing. However after that the car when on the move has tire noise. Sounds like helicopter. Like what u here with some trucks...voov voop voop sound. Took the car back to the place I did rotation he say tire balancing will not cause the noise. Is the tyres..but mine is quite new and before rotation and balance don't have such sound. He say to eliminate sound just rotate back but I will have uneven wear! So is he bluffing? Is it a bad balancing?

Hi guys, we would normally do tyre rotation for FWD and RWD...how about AWD of which all 4 wheels maybe utilise at the same time? do we still need to do tyre rotation for AWD??

Just a check if any cheap rotation + alignment check? Asked around a few like $40-$60. No time to go malaysia due to reservist. It cost only about RM50~RM60 over at truely asia.

Hi Everyone, Is there still any tires shop in Singapore that provide free rotation and patching of tires when we buy a new set of tires from them? Last time Hong Tire along Jalan Jurong K is providing that. Is he still doing that? Any other shops does that? My office just move to Tuas, daily mileage now is more than 100km and also within a month of traveling there, I have patch my tires twice, so just thinking of finding one with this kind of service. Thanks.

Hi guys lets gather a list of shops that do tyres rotation at a relatively cheap price. Yesterday I went to Southern Tyre Co at Woodlands Rd. Their service is good but the price is rather steep. Anyway I had done my rear/front rotation there, now looking for other shops that provide this service at a cheaper price. Come come bros lets contribute I will compile all the price in 1st post. *If there are shops that if you change tyres there and they will provide free rotation also list them down. Southern Tyre Co. Hi guys, Just wondering if you guys can educate me on the above? What's the difference between wheel alignment, balancing and rotation? When will I know if I need to do any of the above. Do you have any good workshops you can recommend for the above services? Has any of you tried the Stanford Tyres at Yishun? What about Poh Seng or City Auto?? By the way, I drive a 2003 Mazda Protege Auto. All advice appreciated. Thanks.

I sent my car in for service and asked them to do a front-rear rotation followed by alignment. But they went and did the alignment and didn't do the rotation. If I do the rotation now separately, will it screw up the alignment since it has been done?

Hi bros, can anyone help to recommend any place to do the above. Preferably around Bukit Merah area. The shell petrol station service workshop charges $27. The previous rotation cost me $10 but too bad the mechanic no longer working there. Many thanks

Hi guys, Any idea whats the cost of rotation of 17 inch tyre(Using hankook tyres)at hankook shop.. I have read from forum some say must free rotation if it hankook tyres,some say they charge a better price for their tyres.. Wonder which is true?.. Any kind soul can advise..

Hi I know it's not a big deal but so far the shops I'd been to has not show due care and thus got scratches & scuffs on my rims & tyres after sending in for the above services. Maybe because the amount is not big or I didn't buy tyres from them? ANyone can recommend a caring tyre shop? If not convenient do PM the name of the mech also at least then I know exactly who to look for in the shop. Thanks all and have a great weekend. -
Few days ago, did a front tyre rotation. Mechanic mentioned one side erode more than the other. Suggested a rotation. After that, when i travel to say 80-90km, can hear the "weng weng" sound. Wat could be wrong?

Was [mad] while watching last weekends soccer match between Liverpool vs Birmingham. Something been telling me that last weekend selection is very [thumbsdown] . Voromin could not blend well with Dirk Kuyt and always pass to no man's land. As Birmingham is playing 5 midfielders, none of the liverpool midfielders & strikers takes long shorts at goal except for Risse shot. Liverpool team was booed by their fans after the match. Today ST reported that Rafa defends his decision in filling Voromin & Kuyt instead of Torres backlashed with fresh questions about his controversial rotation policy. Rafa admitted that his side runs out of ideals towards the end of a dreadful game. Kudo to Steve Bruce for playing 4 defenders and 5 midfielders to contain liverpool attack. How many of liverpool fans in SG had lost money in their last 3 games. where we expected them to win 2 of the games (except for Porto game). Wake up Rafa, field your strongest team please........ We also need to win back some from S'pore Pool. oops........

hi wanna find out, if you're using directional tyres, do you swop left/right when doing tyre rotation? i.e. remove tyres from rim and swop. So far the 2 places i've been, they just swop front and back, tells me "cannot" switch left/right (duh...), charges about $20 to $25. Should it cost more if I ask to swop left/right? Typically how much more and where recommended? Prefer east side (Sengkang/Tampines/Loyang). i'm running on 17", come tyre change it burns a hole in my pocket Thanks
