Only had for little over 2 months and my car was totalled from behind. Video from my DVR helped show that I had very good distance to the car in front of me, but I hit it due to the impact from being hit from behind. Cops were trying to say i was following to close... nobody was the guy behind didn't pay attention wehen traffic suddenly stopped. Video was helpful for insurances and even my chiropractor. Simultainious video plays big role for seeing what happened, instead of just the front camera or separate 2 cameras. With this unit you choose to show (copy to computer) 1 camera or both camera videos after it is already recorded! You are in control!

Hello fellow forummers, Apologies for asking this question but I'm really a NOT technical person at all when it comes to automobiles. I've come to notice that my front left tyre is going to be 'botak' very soon and the pressure is always much lower than the right (but the right still looks and feels quite ok), so I've decided to change both front tyres. I would like to seek fellow forummers expert opinion on how the left front tyre 'botak' faster than the right. And if I change both front tyres, would I need to do rotating/balancing/alignment? Your advise is much appreciated, please. Many thanks in advance Dex

Hi all, Just completed my second servicing with the authorized dealer. Among the line items shown in the bill, I noticed that I got charged 10 bucks for wheel balancing (rotation was free). I believed all wheels are balanced when you purchase them (mine was bought from PH). There should not be any need for wheel balancing again after you rotate them unless the shop that sold you the wheels did a terrible job in the first place. Therefore, I disputed the charge and got it struck off. While I got the result that I was hoping for, I couldn't help wondering whether if that balancing was required as the AD didn't make a serious attempt to push back on my request. Was I suppose to read that as a "nice try in attempting to sneak in an unnecessary item" or "didn't want to spend my time arguing with a customer over 10 bucks"? Can any knowledgeable bros/sis comment on this please? Thanks!

Was talking to my mech over the weekend and he told me something interesting about rotating tyres: 1) If your tyres are radial, you should rotate them by shifting front to back & back to front on the same side. Do not cross them. Tyre wear and damage will be even faster. 2) Radial tyres can be moved across but only on the same plane (eg front LH moved to front RH) and the outer wall of the tyre should be the inner wall of the other side. 3) Only tyres that are labelled as cross radial can be cross rotated. 4) Direction of rotation should not be placed in opposite direction, to prevent damage to tyre and safety of car. it's interesting to know how much of what he said is true.
