They escaped with RM349,000 (S$106,000) in cash. Shah Alam police officer Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said he was alerted to the incident at 6.48am on Thursday, reported New Straits Times. “Our probe identified three suspects who were seen entering the premises. They arrived in a white car suspected to be a Mitsubishi ASX,” he said. “The surveillance recordings were blurry and unclear, as it had been sprayed with black paint. “We are on the hunt for the suspects,” he was quoted as saying in New Straits Times. He added that two ATMs, valued at around RM60,000, were damaged but only one was blasted open and broken into. They were likely blown up using gas pressure, according to preliminary investigations. In February 2022, two robbers made off with RM260,000 in cash after blowing up an ATM at a convenience store in Meru, Selangor. Police said the robbers blew open the machine using a type of gas via a pipe from their car, which was parked outside the store, reported The Star. In August 2019, another similar theft was reported in Tanjong Malim, Perak. Robbers blew up an ATM machine using explosive substances and fled with RM300,000, according to the Malay Mail.
  2. Sounds like a good deal to me http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/8272204/s...er-as-sex-slave *This story published by ninemsn this morning incorrectly suggested this robbery happened recently, as reported in international media overnight. It appears the incident happened in April 2009. ninemsn apologises for the error. A Russian man who tried to rob a hairdresser at gunpoint ended up a victim when she allegedly beat him senseless, tied him up naked and used him as a sex slave for three days. Viktor Jasinski, 32, had gone to the salon in Meshchovsk, Russia, with the intention of robbing it. But after demanding the day's takings he instead found himself overcome by black belt karate owner Olga Zajac, 28, who floored him with a kick and then tied him up with a hair dryer cable. The blonde then took him into a back room and stripped him naked, using him as a sex slave for three days to "teach him a lesson", police say. She eventually let him go, telling him: "Get out of my sight." Victor first went to the hospital to treat his swollen testicles and then to the police where he explained he had been held hostage in a back room at the hairdressers, chained up naked with pink fluffy handcuffs to a radiator - and fed nothing but Viagra. When police arrived to question Zajac, she reportedly said: "What a b*****d. Yes, we had sex a couple of times. But I bought him new jeans, gave him food and even gave him 1,000 roubles (around
  3. June 21, 2008 Burglar leaps 5 storeys to his death on being spotted By Lim Heng Liang A BURGLAR jumped five storeys to his death yesterday after being surprised by the owner of a flat who caught him in her living room. The man was trying to make a quick escape from the three-room flat in Marsiling Lane, but instead landed 15m below with a thud. 'Only a stupid person will enter my house. There's nothing to steal,' said Madam Irene Tan. The 50-year-old chanced upon the burglar, who was described as a man covered in tattoos, at around 10am after returning from her morning stroll. Madam Tan said he panicked, ran to her master bedroom and then took a shortcut to the first floor - from five floors up. A neighbour from two floors below, Mr Abdul Rahman, said he heard the commotion. 'I heard a woman screaming: 'Stop, don't jump'. After that, I heard something drop, boom!' That is when he peered out of his window. 'I saw two guys carry a man and put him inside a car before driving off.' Only a patch of blood was left at the scene. The police confirmed last night that the man, who was in his 40s, died at about 11.45am after being taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Madam Tan said she had left a back window open and thinks the man scaled her block like 'Spiderman' to break in. Mr Abdul Rahman, 49, suspects the men may be linked to the recent cases of theft. The driver of the vehicle which took away the injured man is currently assisting the police in the investigations. SURPRISED BY OWNER: Madam Irene Tan returned home to her flat to see a man in her living room. The burglar panicked, rushed into the master bedroom and jumped from a window of the fifth-floor flat in Marsiling Lane. 4. This happened this afternoon during lunch time to one of my colleagues. He was having lunch at a korean restaurant, Auntie Kim's. This stretch of shophouses is normally very busy during lunch time, with the numerous eating outlets, e.g. Kampung Chicken Rice, Dino Cake House, Auntie Kim's For those that are familiar with this place, they will know the parking is limited, right infront of the shops, in full view of the people eating lunch. When he return to his car, he discovered his window smashed, i nvr checked with him, whether its windscreen or side windows. His laptop bag, which included his laptop, passport, cheque book all gone. This probably happened in full view of many pple, 1 witness has came forward to said that it's a chinese guy who did it. Although, its his fault to leave his laptop bag exposed, but i dun believe, no one noticed a window being smashed and a bag taken away. So much for civil mindedness. The worst things is, when he when to repair his car at a workshop at amk, the workshop asked him whether did it happened at Upper Thomson, because many cars has came to him with the same problem ! So it's seasoned criminal at work ! So much for police work. For all those frequent there, including me, pls beware or keep a lookout for suspicious looking pple!!!!
  5. 1. Some mentioned about bringing a baseball bat type of steering lock along. Multi-purpose, two-in-one, one for locking and one for self defence. 2. Erm..frankly, I just wonder whether we can equipped with some stingy spray or electric or stun gun with us for self defence? 3. So, when confronted, what would you do for self-defence? Please share your views and advice. Thank you very much. Regards,
