I need some help as I am a noob at car hi fi. I have these: Amplififer: Audison SRX 21 400 watts SubWoofer: Pioneer TS WX 11A 4 speakers Rainbow KX 165 Peak power 120 watts nominal power 20-80 Freq 55-21,000 Impendance 4 ohm My car HU is stock, so what's a good HU to go with above? I think the speakers need replacement?

Hello all, I've seen quite a few cars on the road sporting some sort of license plate that reflects rainbow colours. Example (taken from stomp): http://static.stomp.com.sg/site/servlet/li...e-thumbnail.jpg Seems illegal right? But according to LTA guidelines at http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onem...ence_plate.html So technically speaking, it SHOULD be ok since it conforms to regulation. There's nothing in there that says the license plate CANNOT be coated in such material. Anybody using these plates got pulled over by TP/LTA before?

Hi, I have just replace my old Twister TM-6000 Component rear speaker to CDT CL62. All I can say the speaker is quite bassy and I had a hard time balancing the sound quality in my car. It is louder than my front Rainbow CSX 265 component speaker and its tend to cover up my front clarity. But after a few hr of tuning, I manage to push the clarity to the front without any loss at the rear. Well for those who wanna buy CDT CL62, you can do so, preferably install at the rear if you dun have a subwoofer as installing in the front will be very bassy. In term of clarity, I still prefer Rainbow CSX 265 as it really outstand the vocal of the song. My Current setup: Pioneer DEH 7750 1x Rainbow CSX 265 front componenet speakers (with cross-over) 1x CDT CL62 rear componenet speakers (with cross-over) 1x Twister 10' dual voice subwoofer in a box 1 x Capacitor 1 x Twister 500W 2 channel amp. 1 x Twister 400W 4 channel amp. 1 x Accoutic Power Pre-amp Soundproof, two layer at the front door, floor and abit near firewall area (Using Dynamat Extreme)

Gurus, I've gone thru the specs online for SLX265 and it only says Max 150 watts. Not too sure how to find the nominal power. Went to SLT and bought a soundstream amp PCA2.260 and the specs are as follow. Output @ 4 ohm: 80 x 2 Output @ 2 ohm: 130 x 2 Bridged @ 4 ohm: 260 x 1 So which should I choose? Choose output @ 2ohm or 4ohm? I have no intention of adding a sub just want this 2 channel amp to power up the front thats all. Rear is still stock. Should I mount the AMP at the bottom of my seat or fabricate a board and mount it in the boot instead? Thanks guys.

Hi All, I'm new to ICE. Is there anyone who install or heard the SQ of Rainbow speaker SLX 265 and SLC 265? Thinking of upgrading my stock speaker. Other brands and model recommendations are welcome. I am going for SQ and usually listens to Jazz, sentimental and some pop music. I prefer speakers with clarity and bass as I do not intend to install woofer.

It happened this morning. One complete arch of intense colour, with a secondary arch paler above it, the rainbow spanned full across the Seletar Expressway as we drove westwards in the splattery rain. The morning sun slanted goldenly through under the clouds. Where the sky was a deep misty grey, the colours grew extra brilliant. As the road gradually curved, we saw where the end of the rainbow came right down to ground. It slowly moved out from the roadside shrubbery and came to land right in front of our left headlight. The glittery band of colour ran tracing the earth before us as we sped along, then smoothly shifted to keep pace right beside our front passenger window. Mom-in-law could have wound down the window and reached out to touch it. We were treated to this vision of paradise for the entire stretch of the SLE. I don't think it will ever happen again.

I've kind of narrowed my selection to either rainbow or CDT. Are they in the similar league altogether? So far I've found rainbow below which is within my budget Rainbow CS 265 Contour Line 6-1/2" Two-Way Component System 300 USD Regarding CDT, I can only go with HD-62 series for 200USD, ES series is 600USD which is way too much. From my understanding, Rainbow countour line is the lowest class rainbow line, how does it compare with CDT's HD series which is middle class. I need some SQ!!

Well, kinda of shortlist my perference for spkrs to rainbow and bostons. saw rainbows speakers yesterday, built quality appear good. just dont know how well it sounds compared to the boston pro 6.5 or 6.53. And looking for amp thinking of fitting it with either a nakamichi Has anyone any idea which country the following items are manufactured in? boston speakers nakamichi amps
