I was diagnosed my blood has high platelet count five years ago and the condition has evolved to life-threatening level. High platelet makes the blood thick which can result in stroke or heart attack. My Bone marrow keeps producing excessive platelet. I have been on aspirin last five years for diluting the blood but there is no significant help. There is no medication can control bone marrow in platelet production (in reducing it). Normal platelet count is 150-450. My reading was 580 five years ago and risen to current 1001 last week. I have been seeing a Hematologist in SGH last five years, blood test on quarterly basis, one aspirin a day. i am told my condition is very rare. I am 53 y/o. my blood pressure and cholestrol level are normal. No diabetics. I know i have to look for alternatives and more opinions. i went to chong hwa toa payoh last night but there is no specialist there knows how to treat my condition. I was prescribed some medications and had 30-mins of acupuncture. i am looking for some real experience in treating high platelet count problem. my life is in danger. Please help to recommend / share anything you know including specialist / medication recommendation. I will be very grateful of it. THANK YOU.

Yesterday evening my friend and I reached the car park at around 8pm. I tore a 50 cents coupon starting at 8.10pm while my friend started at 8.05pm then went for dinner. We both overshot our parking coupon period when we returned at 9 plus but only I got a summon for $6! My friend's car is just a few lots away from mine and I glance through the entire car park it seems like I'm the only one to get fined... :( Can I complain and make sure my friend get summon too? haha PS: It's my own fault for not displaying enough coupon and very willing to pay for the fine! The JDM Type R has reached our shores last night. Woo hooo! I was informed by PI. And i promptly made my way down to witness it in its own full glory. My bro has been waiting for it eagerly. Hope that within the next month or so I can borrow to go down for our meet ups! I was so pai sei. the SE specially stayed back late to wait for me and my family. and while the conditions of the sale was being discussed, me and my lover IMUYA, we couldnt resist fondling and caressing our new toy. Checking to make sure every thing should be as what we have read....kee kee SE even started up the car for us! oops...not sure if he was allowed to. He was very nice and very patient and took time to explain everything slowly in detail to my noob dad who has difficulty hearing. I also took time to clarify all fine details as we have all heard of super horror stories involving dishonest PIs. Hi guys, Its been 4 years and I've learnt a lot from this project car. It has fantastic handling and constantly brings a smile to my face in any corner. It handles a lot better than my A4 now in every way (steering response, feedback, roll, precision, high speed stability, etc), but maybe the A4 will be better when its done. Its something that is very hard to part with and I know some people would be surprised at my decision, but unfortunately I can't support 2 project cars heh..heh... Even my wife doesn't want me to let go of the Tody... For now, my Tody is better than the A4 in handling, sound insulation, boot space, foldable rear seats. All it lacks is the 1.8T engine, otherwise its perfect for me. Well, its up for sale, preferably in whole as-is, unless there are no takers in the next 3 months, then I'll let go parts.
