Do you think taxi drivers have such mentality. Since they have nothing to lose (vehicle is not theirs also), as long as he is in the right of way, he won't even try to avoid an accident and would rather bang straight into the vehicle and claim insurance gao gao (lost of income, tooth crack, hand pain, leg pain etc.....). They don't practice defensive driving on the road, they only only if an accident will favor them or not. For the rest of us, its hear pain. Even is car can be repaired, its no longer the same already thus avoid as much as we can.

As the topic mentions, I suspect the workshop I send my car for servicing for the last 1 year purposely damage other part of the car so I had to go back for repairs. Ok... the thing is after my car warrantly expired last year I decided to do my car servicing at this workshop. usually I send my car back to the agent. I mean it's not one of those small workshops but a big workshop with multiple outlets all over singapore .... so it must be reputable..right??? 1st time I send my car to them was to change brake pads ... next day my car vacuum hose to petrol tank sprung a leak ... at that time I just drove to my car authorised agent cos when the problem occurs I happen to be nearby my authorised agent workshop ... 2nd time I send for normal 20K servicing .... and again within 2 days my gear shift linkage came loose ... but last Saturday send for 3rd servicing (10K) at same workshop and within 2 days one of the oil pipes is broken ... For the first 2 times I thought it was just coincidence ... but now I'm beginning to think otherwise. Furthermore during the 3rd servicing I met a guy who also send his car for servicing same day ... and today again I saw him and he said his car also got other problems now and had to be resend for repairs ... Is there any trustworthy workshop I can send my car to or do I have to revert back to my agent workshop ...

I have seen quite a few cars on the road with the p-plates placed upside down. I think it was done deliberately as both the front and back plates were placed the same (wrong)way. What are the drivers trying to show? What will be the penalty if stopped by police? Comments anyone?
