To all owners of Fiat punto grande and honda jazz owners. Preferably manual owners. I have finally zeroed down to purchasing either cars. I was just hoping some of you might share with me the performance, downside, maintainence and FC of the car. Much appreciated. =D P.S. I'm purchasing a second hand car, probably around 2-3 years old.

Hi ppl, am currently considering a few cars, one of which is a grande punto 1.4M. I have some questions I hope that can be answered by someone in the know. -Any known problems with the car? Anything ranging from little niggles to a "die die must take note" kinda problem. Please share. -How is the actual FC like. I know they advertise it as 16km/l is possible. Or is it really? -Does its rear seats fold to extend the boot? I hope someone who owns the car would also share the good and bad of living with this car. Many thanks.

Hi, Any G Punto owners out there? can give your review on the car especially in the 5 areas: 1. Price 2. Power 3. Consumption 4. Workmanship/ reliability 5. Car service by TT I have tested drive the car but find that it is underpower and handling not so good. Beside that I was told that the car service by TT was not so good. Your advice pls. Cheers.

CHIO! The Fiat Grande Punto is the first car to get the Abarth treatment. The Italian giant is relaunching its tuning arm at the Geneva Motor Show, where the division has its own stand. And taking centre stage at the Swiss expo is the Grande Punto Abarth Preview. It's a thinly veiled production model, and comes with a 155bhp version of the firm's new turbocharged 1.4-litre T-JET engine, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Styling additions include a redesigned front bumper with gaping air vents, two-tone alloy wheels and matt black arch extensions and side sills. Red racing stripes also adorn the sides of the car, which rides on lower suspension. There's a Sport mode that boosts engine torque, while a further upgrade kit can be specified, increasing power to 180bhp. The show model has a scorpion badge on its grille instead of Fiat's emblem, but owners of standard models will also be able to buy Abarth tuning kits for their cars. Next up is a hot version of the city runabout, the 500. The wraps will come off the 150bhp newcomer at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. Also on Abarth's Geneva stand is the S2000 rally car. It will be run by the Fiat Racing Department, and is set to participate in the 2007 Italian Rally Championship.

hi guys.. its me again.. but this time its a Fiat Grande Punto Skydome.. very Nice number plate too.. a very stylish looking car especially in white and with its skydome.. one thing i dun like about the car is the gearbox.. i mean when slowing down.. it will drop gear itself and there's engine brake feeling.. so slowing down isnt smooth.. very jerky.. kinda like intermitten braking feeling.. here are some pics..

This Punto came in a pretty good condition except for some paint transfers and scratches which looks harmless but required a good buffing to get rid of. I started with PC on Orange LC and intensive polish, but could only manage about 50% of the scratches. So I tried again with another round, but could only improve up to 65% max. So out came the Hitachi Rotary with orange LC pad and IP and finally managed to improve up to about 95%. Upon close inspection with my halogen lamp, there were only very light and short scratch marks left and I decided to leave them alone as the overall shine has improved considerably and the metallics were popping out under the light. There are only 2 pics showing the before n after treatment of the scratches while I got a friend of mine to take the outdoor shots. They turned out petty well in spite of the short time we have with the sun hiding behind dark clouds most of the time. Enjoy!! Steps: 1) Wash n clay 2) Rotary with Orange LC pad and IP 3) PC with grey LC pad and CG's EZ creme glaze 4) Hand application of CG's Factory Sealant x 2 layers The before n after: Even this pic shows how much more the flakes were popping compared to the before pic
