  1. Hi guys, Thinking of getting a new set of shoes for my ride, and have narrowed down to 2 models from Michelin, but can't decide on whether to get the XM1 or Preceda. Any bro has any recommendations? I know Preceda is geared more torwards sports, and hence handling and grip should be better, but would loose out in the comfort (noise) and longevity department right? Any suggestions? Are the differences significant? Thanks!
  2. Everyone, I am driving a Chevrolet Optra 1.6 Auto. My stock tyre is Yokohama S306 195/55/R15. While my stock tyre's grip is good, it is way too noisy for my liking. I need to replace my tyre soon, and I would like to get everyone's comment on the 2 tyres I have shortlisted. Please give me your comments as you have driven before, not from magazines/reviews etc. I am looking for a tyre which has good grip and reasonable quietness. (Ya, we all know that grip and quietness is inversely proportioned) Thank you very much.
  3. Help! My rear right tyre's wall is cracked.. All 4s are about 30k mileage. And I really love the PPs. So what are my options now? Change both rear tyres to PP2? Will I be able to find PP? So buy just one to replace? Thanks. Will need to replace it tomorrow...if not too dangerous to drive on road
  4. Hi Bros, Have anyone here used these tyres as above? I would like to know more about them, before decide which to change.... which is better? Comfort - GR80 or Preceda? Quiet - GR80 or Preceda? Traction (Dry) - GR80 or Preceda? Traction (Wet) - GR80 or Preceda? Please advise....

  9. Hi, Just wanna check whether Michelin Pilot Preceda tyres are directional? As it do the work in a certain direction. Noticed the tyres threads on my car pointing to different directions on both the left and right on the car. Is this normal? Thanks
  10. Wonder if anybody did a comparison on Michelin Pilot Preceda and Yokohama C.Drive. Am looking to switch to something quieter from the yoko's es100 without compromising too much on grip. So far narrowing down to these 2 tires, with similar claimed characteristics and pricing.

  12. i'm changing my tyre soon, however had a hard time trying to decide between these 2 models. I looking for good wet grip and noise comfort... anybody advise?
  13. Hi guys, I've just changed from Aspec db to mich preceda 195/55/15. The wet grip is definitely better than the abs happy DB. As for dry grip, I've noticed the car sliding at the rear when pushed hard. One thing that worries me is that the tire didn't squeak or produce any sound at the limit during hard turning. Since it was raining for the past 2 days, I was hoping it could be that the road was lightly wet, or i was imagining tthe rear was giving way. Of course, my tires only run in about 200km, but i don't think that makes such a big difference
  14. Anyone know where to get good price for these tyres: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Michellin Preceda Appreciate any feedback on them too. Is there any particular "country make" to look out for? Thanks in advance.
