<Gran Turismo 7 Brings Back Another Fan-Favorite Fictional Circuit In A Big Way Deep Forest Raceway receives a new lease on life and a controversial final sector change for GT7. Gif: PlayStation Studios When Trial Mountain appeared in the first trailer for Gran Turismo 7 more than a year ago, longtime fans pumped their fists into the air. The fictional circuit — present in every Gran Turismo except for the Prologue entries and GT Sport — will return fully remodeled in 4K, with variable weather and time-of-day change taking advantage of the full power of the PlayStation 5. It will be a treat for anyone who grew up with these games, and it’s not the only nostalgic gift Polyphony Digital has packed into GT7. Eagle-eyed followers had an inkling Deep Forest was coming back — the course’s recognizable ribbon appeared in several development diary-type videos released over the last two months. Back in 2017 and just after GT Sport’s release, series producer Kazunori Yamauchi told GTPlanet that while his team already had Deep Forest running in the game, the course was far from complete. It will be ready for GT7. Like Trial Mountain, it looks phenomenal. Deep Forest’s signature undulating front straight and descent into Turn 1 is still intact. Actually, most of the course’s first two sectors are pretty much just as you remember them, with some minor tweaks to encourage fair and eventful racing. For example, the concrete surface inside Turn 4 — a patch often used by your jerk friend to illegally overtake you in split-screen battles — has now been festooned with sausage curbs that will unsettle cars passing over top. I anticipate Polyphony will enforce strict track limits around that section for online play, too. All of the tunnels are still exactly where you remember them. I’ve seen some fans complain that the canopy of trees overhead doesn’t cover as much of the view above as it used to, making this forest feel less, well, deep. But that was sort of unrealistic from an environmental standpoint to begin with, and PS1 and PS2 games had wonky proportions. Seriously, go back and play GT1 or GT2 if you don’t get what I mean — billboards and trees were the size of office buildings in those games. Deep Forest then and now — how the track appeared in GT6 and earlier on the left, versus its new layout in GT7. Illustration: PlayStation Studios/Adam Ismail Some corners have clearly been reprofiled in the first sector — most notably Turn 10, the last before the back straight. In the original Deep Forest, this was a more relaxed bend with a very punishing outer rock wall that left absolutely no margin for error. For GT7 it’s been made tighter and serves as the circuit’s second real overtaking zone after the first corner. Oh, and speaking of overtaking zones, it’s probably time we discuss that change — the new shape of what I guess you’d call Turn 11. In every other Gran Turismo, this has never been anything other than a fast, downhill left-hand sweeper; if you don’t recall the turn’s original shape, watch the comparison video below courtesy of MotoGames TV. The players in this video reach this part of the track at different times, mind you, so the corner will arrive first in the GT6 snippet. Rather than descending at speed immediately following the final tunnel, GT7's Deep Forest leads you right into a braking zone approaching an acute hairpin. This is surely going to ruffle some feathers, but personally I don’t mind it. The track could’ve used another spot for passing opportunities, especially given how Polyphony has courted professional, competitive play with the FIA World Championship. Following that, we have a long drop into a valley, where a maintenance van can be seen traveling on a bridge overhead. It’s little touches like this that endear me to GT7's reimagining of classic courses. I know we all love quaint “old-school” racetracks, but there’s something gratifying and comforting about contextualizing Trial Mountain and Deep Forest as real places in the world that have evolved over the last two-and-a-half decades. Picture it like this: These were small-time, local or club circuits at first, then gained notoriety over the years and have now reached FIA Grade 1 status. But they still haven’t lost their most defining characteristics, as many world-famous venues tend to when they’re renovated. It’s the perfect blend of honoring the past while thrusting into the present, and I cannot wait to experience both favorites when GT7 releases in March. Personally, I hope Polyphony’s planning similar treatment for Midfield Raceway or Grand Valley.>

Is the KFC game console real? PS5 and Xbox Series X parodied by Colonel Sanders! source: https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/06/15/is-the-kfc-game-console-real-ps5-xbox-series-x/ Although 2020 has been a miserable year so far, its conclusion could be good for gamers thanks to the planned releases of the PS5 and Xbox Series X. However, in addition to Sony and Microsoft, another next-gen console has emerged from KFC with specs more mouth-watering then their kentucky fried chicken. People have been asking is the KFC game console real, and here you’ll discover what there is to know. Sony conducted a PlayStation 5 reveal event last week where they finally showed what the console looks like. Similar to its controller, the PS5 console is largely white with aspects of black. It stands out from the Xbox Series X which resembles a PC, and it looks awfully futuristic (or like a Wi-Fi router). However, while Sony’s next-gen console and the Xbox Series X both look magnificent, the suddenly announced KFC game console looks even better. But, is it actually real? KFC video game console price There’s no price for the KFC video game console. However, although it doesn’t have a price, the KFC video game console does have a release date of November 12th, 2020. In addition to boasting a release date, the trailer for the suddenly announced platform shows that it will feature crossplay multiplayer as well as “true 4K” and 120 FPS. Enveloped in black with bits of red, the KFC video game console is shaped after a kentucky fried chicken bucket. It certainly looks impressive with the chicken chamber being the biggest selling point, but alas you most definitely won’t be able to actually get it. Is the KFC video game console real? No, the KFC video game console is not real. Although the KFC gaming Twitter account hasn’t said whether their video game console is real or not, it’s clearly a parody of the Xbox Series X and more specifically the PS5. Granted, the kentucky fried chicken foodchain has created finger-licking keyboards and mouse before in the past, as well as even crocs, but don’t expect their gaming system to come out on November 12th. After all, a video game console with a BBQ grill called the Chicken Chamber is a dream too good to be true for those of us who aren’t vegans.

Now is the best time for us to catch up on Netflix shows, flex our baking muscle, and try our hand at new video games. Sony Reveals New DualSense Controller for PlayStation 5 source: https://hypebeast.com/2020/4/sony-playstation-5-dualsense-controller-dualshock-5 Sony PlayStation has introduced the new DualSense controller that will ship alongside its upcoming PlayStation 5 console. The controller breaks away from the legacy of PlayStation’s DualShock devices not only in name but in design as well. It also builds upon innovations made with the latest DualShock 4 for PlayStation 4. The new wireless controller will utilize sense of touch during gameplay moving forward with the newly adopted haptic feedback function. This allows the controller to react to “a variety of powerful sensations” within any given situation during gameplay. Adaptive triggers have also been implemented to the L2 and R2 buttons for better tension when using the buttons to shoot or draw a weapon. The angle of the controller’s hand triggers and grip has also had some subtle updates to make the DualSense feel smaller. PlayStation also boasts a maintained battery life and lightweight despite the newly added features. The “Share” button used to take photos, save videos, or begin live broadcasts, has been replaced with a “Create” button, a function PlayStation says it will share as more hardware news is announced for the upcoming console. The DualSense also has a built-in microphone ideally for “jumping into a quick conversation.” However, the company advises the use of a headset for longterm discussion. Lastly, PlayStation has done away with its single tone controller colors of the past, opting for a two-toned black and white design with a repositioned lightbar meant to make the colors pop. PlayStation notes “we went through several concepts and hundreds of mockups over the last few years before we settled on this final design.” Check out the images of PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller, then check out PlayStation’s evolution of the DualShock controller.

Driveclub coming to PS4 on October 7, celebrates with new trailer
Deeq posted a blog entry in MyAutoBlog
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJqsLKS23YMDriveclub, a racing title for the Playstation 4, was first revealed last year with a fair amount of promise. Journalists cited the game's competent physics, good looks and social features, during a short demos at the Electronics Entertainment Expo. Set for a position in the launch roster for the latest generation of Sony's gaming console, fans were disappointed when the game was unexpectedly delayed. Now, we finally have a new launch date for the title – October 7, 2014. Yes, that's nearly a year after the Playstation 4 hit stores, but at this point, we're just happy to hear the game is arriving at all. While racing gamers still have a few months to wait before they can sample the new title for themselves, Evolution Studios, the folks behind DriveClub, have released a new trailer made exclusively of in-game footage.-

I am thinking of getting either the Wii, XBox or Playstation, ya those with motion sensing capability. I am not a hardcore gamer and I am thinking more for entertainment system for the kid and old folks, keeps them active. From what I gathered on the internet, Wii may suit my purpose best and I want some more opinion here. And what will be a reasonable selling price for a set of Wii and what does a set normally include? Thanks in advance.

Gran Turismo 6 Massive 2-day European launch event in Ronda, Spain
Deeq posted a blog entry in MyAutoBlog
The Gran Turismo 6 European launch event got under way on 2nd December in Ronda, a town dramatically perched above a canyon in Andalusia in Spain. Here's a series of photos so you can see how things unfolded on the first day of this two-day event. The launch showcases some of the 1,000 supercars that feature in Gran Turismo 6 The festivities began on Monday, December 2, with an opening reception and press conference at the Convento de Santo Domingo. Later that night, a fireworks show lit up the city skyline. Polyphony Digital Inc., developer of "the real driving simulator", has delivered the most authentic experience to date to celebrate the franchise’s 15th Anniversary. The much awaited game is set to launch in Singapore today.-

'Gran Turismo: the Real Driving Simulator' - if you're a fan of the Sony PlayStation video game console, you should be familiar with the tagline, even if you aren't really into driving. However, now that you're reading this post, I guess you're or have become a fan of cars and driving, too, just like I am. Well, as you know, the Gran Turismo series have always been the most popular when it comes to racing on the PlayStation platform. Gran Turismo 5 was a big hit when it came out. Now, rumour has it that the 6th installment to the series is about to come out this year, on 28th November 2013 to be exact. This information is obtained from a few IT-related websites which have mentioned that we can start to place our orders for the game due late autumn this year. Multiplayer.com (an Italian website), for example, said that the game was ready for order and would be delivered on the very same date. The website also mentioned that the game would be available for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) platform. However, in a turn of events, the site has since placed a 'Not Available' tag on the game. Another example, Newegg.com, also placed the Gran Turismo 6 on its list but has now labeled it as 'Discontinued'. Personally, I think this is extremely weird. How can a product become discontinued when it hasn't even been released? Tell me. Word was that Newegg.com priced the game at USD$59.99 (S$73.90) and said that the game would be available on the 28th of November this year, before it labeled the game as 'Discontinued'. Unfortunately, the game producer (which should be Polyphony Digital) has yet to comment on this or shed us some light on when the game will officially be released. So by far, all I can think of is that probably the sites, such as those mentioned above, are actually well aware of the game's official release date. However, they might have to wait for the official announcement before they will be able to receive any order from customers. Nonetheless, I'll update you as soon as I get an update on this issue.

Hi, does anyone know where to buy old consoles, such as PlayStation 1, in Singapore? It's easier to find PS2 than PS1, but I'm looking for a PS1.
