Hi all, I am driving a Sylphy 1.5, 13 months old. Yesterday I realise the sports rim silver start to peel off and inside is black in colour. It is not due to scratches as all my rims are perfect without scratches. I wonder anyone who is driving the same model (2010) has got this problem. I compliant to Tan Chong and is going down and ask for replacement. If posible change all to other model as I am afraid the other 3 will peel off soon also.

Bros, Collected my Honda Stream for less than 1 month paint work is still very good and the shine is good as I have been taking care of it however, i am very disturbed with the orange peel paint (slightly wavy) which makes me rather upset as it doesn't go away with any kind of products i use read that i mean have to go for a polishing job to remove them anyone knows someone or someplace proficient in removing the orange peel from the entire car? would really appreciate it! thanks in advance!! ps: at first thought that the paint is deflective but saw that most if not all cars are like this.

Does the polish/wax compound we use matter in toning down or up the extent of orange peel? Coz after using Klasse AIO and Sealant on my ride, it seems to accentuate the orange peel. Comments?

Dear MCF Bro and Sis, MY new Honda Civic ( 1 month old ) paint started to peel off at the side... about 2 cm long paint... examined the part did not find any chip off signs or anything... it just peel off like tat after 1 month... somemore at the edge of the joint... can anyone advise me what i should do? Actually this afternoon i went to Kah Motor Body repair n paint center before i fly off to Malaysia ( Actually in Malaysia now ) At first when i show this to the manager, he start to say these which really piss me off... Manager : No lah Bro! this is the wax left over lah... u know new car all got wax one and some of it struck at the joint area gap one... u can rub away one u know... Me : But hor, i can see the exposed metal liao leh ... not wax leh... Manager : U see huh... i rub away ... ( Begin to rub... then more peel off paint came out ) Manager : see ... Wax only... Me : u sure wax is Black colour meh???? ( my car black in colour ) Manager : MMmmmm.. ( begin to keep quiet ) Me : So u sure it is wax only??? Manager : mmm yar it is paint.. but strange hor why new paint will peel off?? Manager : I ask my guy to touch up the paint for u... ok? Me : Huh?? touch up?? New Car leh ... No warranty meh?? somemore peeling off... will leave scar leh.. Manager : Touch up will be fine lah... But then i insist no.. then he said ok leave my car for one day on the 9/5/2005.. he then ask his guy to fix up... but when i ask him is it respray all bumper he refuse to comment n just said dun worry his guy know what to do... I worry he only do touch up... what should i do then? Do u think i should make a complain to Kah motor?? Only 1 month old car leh... so heart pain...
