Hi Guys, Just got my tire patched today. Very surprised the price of patching has increased by so much I remember having a simple worm patch at 4-5 dollars a few years back. I was quoted between 8-10 dollars at various shops over the past 1 month I had the puncture Finally had the time to finally do the job, and stopped by at simpang bedok. I was quoted $18 for a patch, but the boss said his is patching from the inside, where the tire is removed from the rim for sticking it with a round pad. Its definitely a safer way of patching, as I've had a bad experience for the worm method. For this price, I should have been roberted, but seriously, what is the market price for this job?

1 tyre got punctured by nails. Patching safe? Or need to change new tyres? Tyres only can change in pairs. Don't know if its worth it. If patched up how long is the estimate lifespan of the tyre?

Hi Guys I have an old tire patch (the push in type) now starting to leak. They say cannot patch again and need someone who can do the proper patch from behind the tire surface. Problem is they can't recommend and I don't know who does this. Anyone knows?

Hi Everyone, Is there still any tires shop in Singapore that provide free rotation and patching of tires when we buy a new set of tires from them? Last time Hong Tire along Jalan Jurong K is providing that. Is he still doing that? Any other shops does that? My office just move to Tuas, daily mileage now is more than 100km and also within a month of traveling there, I have patch my tires twice, so just thinking of finding one with this kind of service. Thanks.

Just helped a friend in the evening to bring his car to a workshop to patch up a tire that was kenna hooked by a little finger thickness hook. The workshop guy pulled out the hook and then patched up the tire. My friend later asked me a number of questions like how effective is the patching? Will the tire suffer any long term effects and is there any risk driving a patched tire esp on journeys into Malaysia. Was Kinda lost of answers, so like to seek the opinions of people here. Thanks.

I am kinda NOOB so forgive me since this is the first time I saw this product. There is this can thingy that you can pump into a flat tyre to repair it. It can repair minor punctures. Anyone used it before? Only cost about $14 and it's great since you don't really have to bring a spare tyre along. Of course, if you have a serious puncture, then you are on your own.
