I only knew about the foodcourt at Parkway Parade undergoing renovation and will be replaced by Food Republic when I wanted to have dinner there with my wife yesterday evening. I missed my favourite stall that sells Mee Rebus, Mee Siam, Curry Chicken, Laksa and Chin Chow run by Chinese. I don't think that stall is going to be there when the new foodcourt opens under a new management in Nov 12. Anybody knows where this particular stall is now located? Thank you.

Went to Sakae Sushi in Parkway Parade recently with wifey for lunch. Ordered the premium set for 2 at about $35, comprises of 2 bowls of rice with grilled fish, chicken, beef, vegetable, fois-gras, etc, with most of the items prepared from the teppanyaki counter there. Very very satisfying meal, as concurred by my wife, and definitely worth the money for the quality. The grilled beef is very tender and all the meats are full of flavour. Should be able to substitute beef with other meat for those who does not take beef. Chanced upon my wife's acquaintance who worked there, that the promotion is ending in 2 months time due to mis-calculation in costs, such that the restaurant is not earning much from it at all. So, enjoy there while still available. Will not regret. Disclaimer: I do not work there. And Sakae Sushi definitely does not need me to do any promotion, judging by the crowd there.

Was there yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised by its newly overhauled carpark. For those not familiar with the shopping center, its carpark is made of 2 carparks adjoined at only 2 upper levels with 2 access locations at ground floor. Carpark access is sipral with traffic on both directions, which is very narrow and harrowing for inexperience drivers. But it has just been changed completely over the week, with one carpark block designated for going up, and another for downward direction (single way traffic), and allowing traffic to access the other carpark block at every level. This translates to much wider space for cars to travel and better shopping experience. I think this is brilliant, after years of suffering. I have always been unhappy with parking there, not because of my skill but rather those of other drivers who always like to 'eat' into my lane at the turning bends as if they are driving big lorries and cannot turn wider. Now if only it is willing to implement per-minute uasge charging system!

Happened earlier this evening in front of Parkway Parade. The centre barricade was totally thrashed with some parts of it on the opposite lanes. The lamp post was nearly cut down. Loads of debris. Looks like from a white vehicle or motorcycle. Anyone knows what actually happened? From the scene, looks like a vehicle had crashed through the barricade after turning out from Parkway Parade.
