As the topic suggest . Is the following legal ? Saw a body kitted car in my MSCP . The front license plate is by the side of the bodykit . What i noticed was .. the license number is "spray" directly onto the bodykit . (Very professional done though - as in the number are silver on black background - The car was white) From far you see it's just like those legally plated number , Fonts , spacing etc ... But just that it is sprayed on ... Like that can pass inspection ??

Hi guys, Just painted my calipers red at Soh Brothers this afternoon. Total job took about 3.5 hrs to complete. They didn't use high temp paint though so I am not sure how long this will last. Anyway for $40, I don't mind getting them repainted again if they fails. Check it out... Any idea where I can get high temp decal for this? Thinking of putting Lexus wording on the front brakes.

Wanted to share with the Skoda bros and sis here. I got my side strip painted, looking at the both, seems like with the strip it looks nicer, but in real life I prefer it without the strip.

I was toying with the idea ever since I started my previous project on my rear brake drums. I decided against bright colours (red, blue...) as I really do not have performance brakes, and making others think so would not serve to do my "sleeper-mode" car any good. I just didn't like how my "corroded" and ugly brake calipers were looking. This was how it looked:

My stock brake drums were really neglected (as Gadgeter pointed out to me yesterday). They were rusty, and looked quite out of place behind my sports rims. So....I decided to spend an hour today doing a makeover for them. I found an old can of spray paint (Tamiya! German Grey, used for F16 model) Some Tamiya top coat and proceeded to remove the wheel. Sandpapered and cleaned....., I sprayed 3 coats of paint on one drum....and the can was empty! (airfix are normally quite small...and this was half used....so the can didn't last as long ) Then I sprayed some protective top coat (2 coats) and replaced the wheel. Now I have one rusty drum brake and one in "German Grey!" Should finish this project by the end of the week.....sigh....maybe I'll spray "Chrome" over it after all! Cheers. here's some pics of my handiwork!
