Hi bros Need a recommendation for reliable distributor for a CCTV to be installed outside the house gate as my neighborhood has been experiencing housebreaking and stolen shoes and belongings outside corridors almost every week. My 2 pairs of shoes got stolen lately. When has Singapore become such an unsafe country?

http://news.asiaone.com/news/edvantage/river-valley-high-teacher-knocked-down-van-outside-school River Valley High teacher knocked down by van outside school AsiaOne Thursday, Nov 07, 2013 SINGAPORE - A River Valley High School teacher was hit by a goods van suspected of beating the red light near the school gate. Mrs Eileen Pua Jiu Er, 31, a chemistry teacher, suffered three fractures and was sent to hospital, Lianhe Wanbao reported. The accident happened on Tuesday, at a traffic crossing outside the school at about 12.15pm. Mrs Pua had been crossing a road along Boon Lay Avenue, just outside the school, when the accident occured. This morning, Mrs Pua spoke to reporters at the National University Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She said she was on her way home and had just started crossing the road when she suddenly felt something hit her forcefully. When she regained consciousness, she found herself lying on a hospital bed. "I saw the pedestrian traffic light turn green before stepping off the curb," she said. "I am a teacher, and I need to set a good example when I'm outside the school, so I definitely wouldn't cross when the light is still red," she told Wanbao reporters. She suffered multiple fractures all over her body, broken ribs and is expected to take at least a month to recover. Closed-circuit television footage was not able to determine if Mrs Pua had dashed across the road when the light had not yet turned green or if the van driver had beaten the red light. ------ Remember that earlier video - where the taxi jammed brakes after running red lights, and managed to stop before hitting the car? This van was not so lucky... hope the punishment is severe. Gotta teach drivers to slow down at amber and stop at red light; not to save a couple of minutes by running the red lights; but risking harming people.

Hello fellow drivers. My Aveo sedan is in it's 7th year. Lately I have been hearing this 'cricket-like', screeching sound. The sound comes from the drivers side because it is louder when I wind down the window as I drive. It doesn't seem to be caused by braking because it comes sometimes during acceleration, coasting, braking, or even going slight humps. The sound is noticeable at speeds of 50km/h and above. At idle or very slow speeds, the sound is not present. Again, I stress, the sound does not show up regularly but it will definitely show up after some time of driving (20 minutes or more). Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Most people picked up new things eg hobbies already when they we're younger. Major new things may be things like looking after baby if they are new/first time fathers? What else? Hunting, or spotting wild life? Wild boars?

An accident involving five vehicles took place in front of Braddell MRT Station at 2.20pm on Saturday. The vehicles involved were a taxi, a grey Toyota Camry, a green Toyota Allion, a black Suzuki and a black BMW. It is understood that the Camry drove out from under Block 107, hit the taxi, before reversing and hitting the Suzuki. It then reversed again, colliding into the metal railing outside the MRT exit. Few things come to mind when I see this scene. 1. They are not all terrorist 2. They can be grateful to people who helped them/their country. Fewer people are like that these days as gratitude is a rarer quality. 3. They can gather to celebrate. Such gathering would not be permissible here? Well sometimes even wearing same political t-shirt can get you into trouble. 4. It is amazing America can accept such diversity in culture & race into their country and I noticed after sometime the younger migrants becomes socially & culturally integrated. It is something that makes America great and imbedded in it's Constitution.

This 43 year old Mrs Zhang from China enrolled her daughter in a private school. For some reason, she wanted the school fees returned but was unsuccessful. Feeling helpless, she went to the Istana hoping to find an official she could talk too. The woman held a lighter in her hand and even drenched her head with some flammable liquid. She was arrested and is currently out on bail

i was at grand plaza park hotel yesterday near peninsula yesterday morning to pick up a friend and was shocked with what i saw.... the area immediately outside peninsula shopping centre was absolutely covered in rubbish of all sorts..... from plastic wrappers to unfinished food to beer bottles. worse was the capitol car park.... every square inch was covered in garbage as far as the eye can see... i thought it had been turned into a garbage collection centre... you couldn't walk past it. my friend told me the area is a myanmar ft hangout at weekends. it really reminded me of slums of some 3rd world country.

Anyone saw this white TP on the overhead brige around 9plus to 10am?... this road is 60km/h... i was going close to 80... saw a blue police van at the road side... i release throttle... looked at bridge nothing... looked carefully and saw the back of the TP... i tapped my brakes and passed under at approx 60plus to 70km/h... the thing is, is it 'normal' for TP to face the camera at the back of the traffice flow? if this is normal then this will explain why lately i dont see so many TPs on the bridges... cause all taking pics AFTER you pass them... can the speed gun take the speed of a vehicle moving away instead of coming towards? this might explain why i got a warning letter on the SLE towards BKE... even thought i always look at the bridges when i pass them....

Fight video STOMPer AC is worried about the increasing incidents of road rage in Singapore, especially after witnessing the fight that broke out between these men at Bishan Junction 8. The STOMPer recounted: "The incident involved the driver of the car and a motorcycle rider, both of whom were parked illegally along the road between Bishan Junction 8 shopping mall and the multi-storey car park. "The motorcycle was parked right in front of the car and left little clearance space for the car to turn out. "The motorcyclist was on his phone while the car driver waited in the car with his spouse, wanting to move out. "The driver honked at the motorcyclist a few times and the motorcyclist became irritated. He shouted at the driver with vulgarities and gestured with his hand at the same time. "After the driver finally managed to move his car out of the parking area, he also showed his frustration by gesturing at the motorcyclist." The biker ran after the car to confront the driver. Both men came to blows when the driver got out of his car. Concerned that motorists here are getting more and more short-tempered, the STOMPer asked: "What can we do to avoid situations such as this from happening? "Who stands to gain at the end of the day? "How would we behave, if we were caught in the same situation?"

Drove pass that road. Saw a red honda integra buang onto the central divider. Car chassie resting on the concrete divider. Front smashed up by the metal railing. One lady in black waiting by the road side. That junction is a dangerous one. Many learner drivers causing impatient drivers to make funny/illegal moves. Also many times knoce down people along this road. Very dirty road according to my father.
