Hi guys, got a query about this phone. For sync, when connected with laptop with data cable, i can use the laptop's internet connection to surf the net on the phone. Is that right? How about the reversal ? which means that if my phone is connected with 3G, can my laptop surf the net using the phone's connection? Thanks for any input ! :)

hi All was at the samsung store today. tried this model, seems like most value for money however, i have a few concerns which the shop people cant help to clarify 1. Can this phone be connected to laptop and use this phone as a modem to surf web from the laptop ? (assume batt life is not issue) i dont want to keep taking the 3G SIM card in and out of the phone to share between phone and laptop 2. does it hang very often ? 3. is the LCD clear and visible under strong sunlight ? I work outdoors often 4. is the batt life short ? i take about 100 calls a day , spending average 2min per call including surf web and read email thanks in advance !!

Hi i've just upgraded my Omnia II to WM6.5 yesterday. Tried to use WIFI at home but failed to access internet. Any bros here can help on how to set up? I'm using Singtel BB at home.

With this applied on your Omnia HD, you will no longer need any other form of protection(i.e. crystal casing,pouches,etc) as it is scratch proof and also comes with a 5 yrs warranty. Hi all, just bought the samsung omnia HP...got to admit i really catch no ball on how to use it, esp the GPS function. GPS is free or need to pay?? GPS is something new to me Any one is using this phone? The GPS is using navifone and it was supposed to be free. The question is if i connect to it, do i need to pay charges?? Sorry, I'm really a tech idiot!

Omnia has rolled out new firmware, i900DXHJ1, this firmware will resolve the battery killer problem. http://www.samsungmobile.com/promotion/omnia/index.jsp My friend upgrade hers from HH1 to HJ1, tested it for three weeks, and the software is stable. My version is G2 and not sure if I should upgrade mine to HJ1 too. Anybody else upgraded to HJ1 too, and what other improvements for HJ1?? -

Hi all, Is there any other diff between Omnia 8G and 16G? I saw the promo by Singtel. Selling Omnia 8G at $468 and come with 8G Micro SD card. So it look to me that I can pay $468 got thr 16GB (8GB + 8GB)version. Am I correct? But this price is only valid for roadshow, do you guys think no more stock by the time I go tomorrow? BTW, any opinion on F480? Maybe getting one for wife. Any advice or feedback welcome. Thanks.
