Surely we will not get to see this type of headline for the foreseeable future. At least MBT came to PP to try his luck before going into the parliament. So if this ex-MAS bloke is touted to be of minister material with many years of valuable fiscal experience, why not put him in a SMC, say, PP again or if this is risky, maybe the highly secured Mountbatten SMC to test him out? If he wins good for him but if he doesn't then maybe he is not ready yet. Sad to see a highly capable professional going into parliament via the GRC system without going through the baptism of fire....
