As per topic, any idea where to buy it? I've gone to a few petrol stations around my area and they're no longer selling it. Or is it no longer for sale? My IU can only read chip ones.

Beware! Double deductions of your cashcard value as you exit car park. On the 29th May, I was at ComCenter at Somerset. When I was at the exit gantry. It said no entry record. Hence, I insert my cash card to the reader but still unable to exit. I reversed to the other gantry beside this one and the same thing happened. Then the deduction was done but the barrier remained down. I called Wilson Parking and she said she would let me out. Just as the barrier was lifted up, the second deduction showed again from my IU unit! NBzzz, I then exited and parked my car at the roadside and went back down to call Wilson Parking again. She advised me to check my transaction history to prove the double deductions. Next day, there were no double deductions shown on my transaction history! However, I knew the value of my cash card and had also just topped up last night before I exited ComCenter. Suay Liao I thought. How to prove the double deductions if the history said otherwise. I called Wilson Parking again and she said there is only 1 deduction based on my cashcard transaction history and hence it seemed like I had no case here! Therefore, I called NETS and told another lady about my predicament. She advised me to fax her the transaction receipt and details about the event. I asked her if she could find out even though the history only showed 1 deduction? She said "yes", I went "Hmmm". When she returned with her investigation after I had faxed her. Viola, true enough there were double deductions! This is even though the history said otherwise! Then the Wilson Parking Technician said that this event is very common everywhere, and there is still no solution in sight! In conclusion, there seems to be the case of the parking vendors "makan" our money and not the other way round whereby they give us money! This is common as he said so. I smell a rat. If you are unaware of the value of your cash card but suspect something, you may think nothing of it as the history hides this scrupulous activities! Hence, I will like this to be make public to the media perhap and I need asisstance in this matter....thanks for reading. Max

between a Nets cash card and a Nets Flash card. I use a Nets Flash Card in the payment thingy on my car windscreen and for some reason a few car parks won't accept it and I keep getting the message 'place card in reader' or something. Other car parks accept the Flash card no problem.

Was queueing in SingPost (Toa Payoh Hub @ 12.00pm) and was approached by a SingPost staff extending his service. He asked 'may I help you'. I said paying for my airline tickets and he told me to use SAM machines faster as the queue was long (I am in number 12). So go over to the SAM machine and happily key in all details and then came to payment part. Pressed the NETS button and push in my cash card. Out come the cash card and on screen word, 'transaction terminated, please refer to bank'. I was then hur.... Tried again and same thing happen. Joined the queue again and was pushed back by another 8 persons.... When almost reaching my queue (second person), the lady behind the counter then shouted to all in the queue that Nets is down islandwide. Even the banks next door also closed and system down, Cash payment only, lagi tulan and walk off.... It seem that after the burning of Bukit Panjang Exchange, system seem to go down very easily. Have to rush to office and try again in the evening. Anyone know is the Nets up and running...

In a major anti-drink driving blitz on Thursday morning, police arrested 16 motorists aged between 24 and 55. The operations saw police conduct breathalyser tests at Clemenceau Avenue, Crawford Street, Jalan Toa Payoh and Kallang Road. 14 men and two women had flunked the test, with the most egregious offender recording a test result of 54 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. Drink drivers that are convicted are disqualified from driving for at least 12 months, and will have to retake the theory and practical driving tests in order to obtain their driving licences again. Yesterday when i was trying to top up my cashcard at the ATM machine, it keeps giving me error etc. So no choice i bought a new Cashcard which cost me $10 (Only $5 is the store value), tried topping up at the ATM again but still problem so lan lan go Cheers top up and cost me 50cents. I just realise that the refund is only the remaining store value in the cashcard, meaning $5 is kena makan. My question is if a cashcard is having problem, do we have to spend another $5 getting a new one or can NETs replace a new one for us? Is there a way to return the stupid card to NETs and take back the money? Sorry to rant, Seriously, so much money goes to ERP every single day, is it still necessary to charge for top-up and also the card is not refundable when return to NETs?

This is taken off The Business Times (2nd July 2003) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Baby Lambo nets 12 orders By SAMUEL EE Twelve people have put their names down for the Gallardo by Italian exotic carmaker Lamborghini even before production began and way before the final price is fixed. 'At the moment, the car is about $850,000 without COE,' says KC Chong, manager of Lamborghini Singapore, the local distributor. 'The price is not confirmed but it will be below $900,000,' he says. 'The target is for delivery to start in November, but we're not sure how many units will arrive every month or every other month.' In fact, when news broke in mid-2002 about a baby Lambo that was smaller than the V12 Murcielago, Mr Chong says his company managed to get the first six orders even before the photos of the new model were released. 'We gave them a rough price, some confirmed specs, but they didn't know what it looked like and yet they decided to buy,' Mr Chong says. The mid-engined Gallardo has a five-litre, 40-valve V10 aluminium engine with 500 bhp. Four-wheel-drive and a six-speed gearbox will take it from zero to 100 kmh in four seconds. Thanks to a common parent, Germany's VW Group, the Gallardo will have a high-tech aluminium space frame like the Audi A8. It will also have conventional doors because Lamborghini's trademark sexy scissor doors are said to be reserved for V12 models only. Lamborghini Singapore expects the Gallardo to be a runaway success. Already, demand has outstripped that of the Murcielago, six of which have been sold here at $1.15 million each. 'It's a sure winner because it slots in neatly between the Ferrari 360 and the Maranello,' says Mr Chong.
