Moscow Police Confiscate Realistic Batmobile Because It Didn’t Have A License Plate source: https://mustsharenews.com/moscow-confiscate-batmobile/ Moscow Police Confiscate Local Batman’s Batmobile Because It Had No License Plate Before the days of Marvel’s Avengers movie franchise taking the world by storm, everyone loved Batman. He was the dark, he was the night, he was, Batman. This guy in Moscow has clearly stayed loyal to the controversial vigilante. He was evidently a committed fan, and even got himself a custom Batmobile so he could cruise the streets of Gotham Central Moscow in style. Sadly, the sleek sports car was confiscated last Saturday (22 Feb) night by Moscow police after as it did not adhere to road safety regulations. Batmobile defied road safety regulations According to BBC, the vehicle was seized by the police for a number of reasons regarding its build. For one, the Batmobile was “not manufactured within factory conditions”, and uncertified by authorities. Additionally, it had never been deemed roadworthy and was also an unregistered vehicle. The traffic police reportedly speculate that the car is not likely to be roadworthy, as it is overweight and oversized. Car was custom built in US and listed in Russia South China Morning Post (SCMP) reports that the car was built in the United States of America, and further customised at an auto shop in Russia called Fast Boom Pro. The car is allegedly 6 metres long, which is absurdly oversized for an ordinary car. For comparison, the Honda Odyssey MPV is roughly 5.16 metres long. The Batmobile seems to be a replica of the Dark Knight’s vehicle from the 2016 movie —Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice. Here’s the Batmobile from the movie: And here’s the confiscated car: Props to the auto shop for the amazing customisation job. Unfortunately, authorities decided that the vehicle “exceeded acceptable norms”, hence why it was confiscated, reports the BBC. Man faces heavy fines if he wants his car back The car’s owner, a 32-year-old Moscow resident, is allegedly being investigated for three different charges for the car’s irregular shape, it’s excessive size and weight and it’s lack of registry, reported the BBC. Apparently, a similar car was listed in Russia last October, for around S$1,169,000 (55 million Roubles). The car was listed with features that sound a lot like the real Batmobile’s. It reportedly had a night vision camera, a laser-aiming device and even a gun that mimicked gunshots. Wait a minute — Batman doesn’t use guns? Apart from that minute detail, the car is insanely cool, but this Batman fan would likely have to pay a heavy fine if he wants his vehicle back. Road safety is important We encourage everyone to live your best life and do what you want, because YOLO, right? Still, road safety is important because other people are at risk too. Maybe this guy can consider a scaled-down version of the Batmobile. Perhaps a Bugatti La Voiture Noire would suffice? It costs approximately 26 million Singapore Dollars (US$18.7 million), but we’re sure he’d much rather spend his money on a supercar than fines.

A short work trip to the land of Putin. Tiring but very fascinating. Made some video clips. Landed into -1 deg with some snow. Not cold by Moscow standards, but I'm from the tropics. Cloud cover was very dense and I couldn't see anything outside the window until the plane had almost touched down. Before the flights, some video clips from Changi Airport. This is the Kinectic Rain exhibit at Terminal 1. This has been around for some time but this is the first time I stared at it for a bit. This is the full size X-wing fighter exhibit at Changi Terminal 3. More to come, stay tuned.

Have you seen this? Goes to show that when drivers are distracted, accidents will almost surely happen. 'An advertising campaign showing a woman's breasts has been blamed for more than 500 traffic accidents in one day. The massive adverts placed on the side of 30 trucks driving around Moscow showed a woman's breasts cupped in her hands with the slogan 'They Attract' across her nipples.' Instead of offering free ride to minimize the crowded situation. Perhaps this is a good idea to encourage some form of work out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojo9M1cPSPI http://www.viralviralvideos.com/2013/11/11/moscow-subway-ticket-machine-accepts-30-squats-as-payment/

The ongoing 16th Moscow International Auto Salon (2012 MIAS) is expected to draw more than 1 million visitors whom can browse many new models and concepts including 23 world, 21 European and 85 Russian premieres. Russia with a population of 140 million has an improving economy, where a large number commute by driving old cars. Automakers have an oppurtunity to tap into this market with noteworthy premieres like the new Mazda6 and the facelifted Audi R8. Well, I'm not here to talk about the cars, but to present the equally beautiful booth babes and models that were present. Like any other motor show, there wasn't a drought of beautiful women at the show and here are some that caught my eye. Picture credit: Carscoop

http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp...1106655/1/.html MOSCOW - A suspected suicide bombing Monday killed at least 31 people and wounded over 100 at Moscow's Domodedovo international airport in an attack described by investigators as an act of terror. Eyewitnesses who spoke to Russian radio described a scene of carnage after the blast ripped through the baggage claims section of the arrivals hall at Russia's largest airport. "Today at 4:32pm (1332 GMT) an explosion went off in the international arrivals hall of Domodedovo airport," the Russian investigative committee said in a statement. The spokesman for the committee, Vladimir Markin, said that a criminal inquiry had been opened into an "act of terror". An official with the investigators, Tatyana Morozova, told the Interfax news agency that the blast happened in the baggage claim area. At least 31 people were killed and 130 wounded in the blast, Interfax said, quoting an official with the health ministry. "According to preliminary information, the explosive device was set off by a suicide bomber in the international departures hall," the news agency quoted an unnamed security source as saying. "Burned people are running about.. they are carrying pieces of flesh on stretchers," said one eyewitness, named as Andrei, who was standing near the information stand at the airport. "Something terrible is happening there. Tens of people are being dragged out on stretchers, on trolleys," he told City FM radio. "People are on stretchers, some being carried, there are wounded, people covered in blood," a passenger named as Nadezhda told the radio. "You can't tell the living from the dead. I was meeting someone. We are not protected in this country," another witness, Alexei, told the radio. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has been informed of the incident, his spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax. Moscow police on Monday stepped up security across the city after the blast, Interfax quoted law enforcement officials as saying. Domodedovo Airport is Russia's largest airport in terms of passenger traffic. The Russian capital has been repeatedly rocked by attacks over the last years blamed on militants from its overwhelmingly Muslim Northern Caucasus region. Double bombings carried out by two female suicide bombers on the Moscow metro on March 29, 2010 killed 40 and wounded more than 100. Russia is battling an Islamist insurgency in the Caucasus and deadly attacks on government and police officials in Dagestan as well as neighbouring Chechnya and Ingushetia are an almost daily occurrence. The Kremlin fought two wars against separatist rebels in Chechnya in the 1990s but the insurgency has now become more Islamist in tone and has spread to neighbouring Ingushetia and Dagestan. However officials have repeatedly warned of the risk of attacks in Russia's heartland. Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines says both its flights out of the Domodedovo airport have departed without incident. SQ62, bound for Houston, Texas in the US, departed Moscow at 10.15am local time. SQ61 left Moscow for Singapore direct at 2.25pm local time. - AFP/CNA/ir Down to Terrorists!
