Mid-Autumn festival or mooncake festival is just around the corner on Sept 27th. Do you guys have any specific brands to recommend or go for? The number of brands is overwhelming. Traditional , snowskin, exotic, anything... Personally prefer the not-so-sweet types. I am fine if this thread is subsumed under that for previous years for simplicity.

I still have one and a half mooncake left in the fridge. Didnt realise it till wife cleared the fridge. They still look good, wonder if I can still consume them??? Its a waste to throw them away. Thks.

I've called a few hotels and they dun carry yam mooncakes (usually with crispy skin?) any idea where to get them? need not be from hotel, old time bakery/confectionary also can as long as yummy can liao
