Hi ICE gurus Currently my passive sub is driven by a soundstream 2 channel amp in bridge mono. Wondering wat are the benefits of getting a monoblock amp? Currently the performance and the power of the amp is good, i have no complains but i just wondering wad kind of benefits i can aspect from those higher end brand monoblocks which may be worth the upgrade? Afterall isn't the subwoofer job just to go boom boom boom? things like sound quality, clarity, etc etc won't come into play rite?

Anyone knows what monoblock means? Does it mean that its cast as 1 piece and therefore stronger? Would a weight tolerance of 500kg for a Taiwanese rim be acceptable? Thanks.
