  1. For full news:https://www.cnet.com/how-to/disney-disneyplus-streaming-service-name-release-date-shows-movies-to-expect/ Disney is betting big on its 2019 streaming service called Disney+. With Disney CEO Bob Iger calling the streaming service the company's "biggest priority" for 2019, the company is ending its streaming deal with Netflix so it can launch its own service as the exclusive streaming home for Disney movies, TV shows and other original programming. Most of the programming planned for Disney+ leans into the company's franchises like Marvel and Star Wars. Captain Marvel, the Brie Larson superhero flick coming to theaters in March, will be the first of its films to stream on Disney+ rather than Netflix. If you're feeling monthly fee fatigue, sorry, but that's the direction the entertainment business is headed. Netflix trots out original shows and movies on a near daily basis. CBS is pumping its CBS All Access service full of Star Trek shows and other original programs. (Editors' note: CBS is CNET's parent company.) NBCUniversal, HBO-owner WarnerMedia and Apple are all building their own streaming services. Even DC Entertainment now has its DC Universe streaming service full of shows, movies and comics. And then there's Hulu, which will be controlled by Disney after its acquisition of 21st Century Fox. Once Disney+ launches, you'll need to remember to subscribe to Hulu too if you want Disney's edgier material, like four planned Marvel cartoons aimed at adults. Disney+ is where all the company's family-friendly content will live. So is the 2019 Disney+ streaming service something worth paying for? The details that we know so far are below, but basically: If you love Star Wars or Marvel movies, you may find yourself considering yet another subscription before the year is out. On Nov. 8, Disney announced a Star Wars prequel series based on Rogue One and starring Diego Luna, who played Cassian Andor in the original movie. Disney also confirmed the service is developing a live-action Marvel series focused on Loki, a character from the Avengers, which will star Tom Hiddleston reprising the role. Also, the Marvel Defenders shows Netflix has cancelled -- like Daredevil and Luke Cage -- could be revived for Disney+. What's the Disney streaming service? Disney+ streaming service will be a competitor to video streaming services like Netflix. Customers will be able to subscribe with a still-unannounced monthly fee to get access to TV shows, movies and other content from the world of Disney. Disney's other streaming services -- Hulu and sports-focused ESPN+--will run on the same tech platform so you can subscribe to them with the same password and credit card info. But Disney plans for all three to be individual subscriptions. ESPN+ will, clearly, focus on sports. Hulu is expected to continue to stream content from three of the broadcast networks and its own original series, like The Handmaid's Tale and Castle Rock. Hulu will also be where Disney streams its more adult-oriented fare. It's where a new Marvel collection of grown-up animated series will stream, and it's like where Deadpool-like content will live once Disney takes over Fox. Disney+ is supposed to include all of Disney's family-friendly fare. It'll have content from Disney proper, Marvel, Lucasfilm (so: Star Wars), Pixar and National Geographic. When's the release date? You'll be waiting even longer than Avengers 4 for this. Disney says it's shooting for a release in late 2019. The company is expected to reveal many of the specifics about Disney+ on April 11, when it'll hold an investor meeting to detail all its streaming plans, including a "first look" at Disney+ and some of the programming it's producing for it. How much will it cost? Disney hasn't yet announced pricing for its streaming service, but expect it to cost less than Netflix. Iger said in November 2017 that his company's service price will reflect the "fact that it will have substantially less volume" but plans to make up for it with high-quality programming from across its entertainment empire. More than a year later, however, Iger said the company still hadn't decided what it'll charge. We do know the service will include shows and movies such as: Star Wars: The Clone Wars new season (exclusive to this service). Marvel movies, starting with 2019's Captain Marvel. Star Wars films, starting with 2019's Episode 9. Pixar films, starting with 2019's Toy Story 4. A live-action, big-budget Star Wars TV series called The Mandalorian, being developed by Jon Favreau. A Star Wars Rogue One prequel TV series, starring Diego Luna. A live-action Marvel series focused on Avengers character Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston. Possible Marvel series that could star Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), according to Variety. Possible Marvel series that would team up Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Sam Wilson, aka Falcon (Anthony Mackie), according to Slashfilm. An animated series based on Pixar's Monsters Inc. A 10-episode series, Diary of a Female President, about a 12-year-old Cuban-American girl. A documentary about Walt Disney Imagineering. A Timmy Failure film directed by Spotlight's Tom McCarthy. A live-action Lady and the Tramp remake. A Sword in the Stone remake. Noelle, a movie starring Anna Kendrick. Togo, a sled dog movie starring Willem Dafoe. A Three Men and a Baby remake. The Paper Magician film. A Stargirl film. A High School Musical series. A possible Muppets series.
  2. **Spoilers ahead** After years in the ice, it looks like The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) has found his new favourite drink judging by the number of bottles he’s put away. While in Brooklyn during the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we see our favourite snowman having a rather polite conversation with his newfound friend at a Japanese Bar. With a good amount of shots and screentime, this has to be some form of product placement for Tiger Beer. However, it gets deeper. After all, it’s been rumoured that much of the action in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will also take place in Madripoor. We’ve previously reported that the fictional South-East Asian country will make its debut in the series. Incidentally, Tiger Beer is a product of Singapore which Madripoor is loosely based off. Additionally, after the bust that was introducing the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this is probably the next best way to weave our favourite mutants into the mix. While the scene is short overall, the camera gives the environment plenty of focus and it even ends up with the perfect money shot – Looks like Singapore is once again is in the spotlight and we’re pretty sure the tourism board and Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore would be happy with the prominent placement. 3. Marvel Studios’ Phase Four of its Marvel Cinematic Universe will include 10 movies and Disney + series when it launches next year, with 2021 looking especially crowded. President Kevin Feige appeared at San Diego Comic-Con for Marvel’s 90-minute appearance in Hall H, where he gave a pretty lengthy update on Phase 4. The Phase Four slate that Marvel unveiled includes the following: Black Widow (May 1st, 2020), Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Fall 2020), The Eternals (November 6th, 2020), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (February 12, 2021), WandaVision (Spring 2021), Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness (May 7th, 2021), Loki (Spring 2021), What If...?(Summer 2021), Hawkeye (Fall 2021), and Thor: Love and Thunder (November 5th, 2021). Feige made a surprise announcement at the end saying that he didn’t have time to address where the Fantastic Four or X-Men would end up in the franchise, but that one additional project will be Blade, which will feature Mahershala Ali. The next phase includes a mix of sequels, like Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness — to be directed by Scott Derrickson, which is described as the MCU’s first horror film, Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth movie in the franchise, to be directed by Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. Unlike the last several Marvel movies, however, Natalie Portman will play Thor this time around. There’s at least one prequel, too — Black Widow, starring Scarlett Johansson in the titular role, one that she has been fighting to have for years. Rachel Weisz, Florence Pugh, and David Harbour will also star. Other film projects will feature several new heroes: The Eternals and Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings. Like Guardians of the Galaxy, neither Shang-Chi or The Eternals are household names — but it looks as though Marvel Studios is hoping that they’ll have wide, mainstream appeal. The Eternals centers on a group of beings known as Eternals who use their advanced skills to protect humans in the future. The comic book series, created by legendary creator Jack Kirby was, “one of many many many things that we are actively beginning to have creative discussions about,” Feige previously told Slash Film. Feige also confirmed that the movie will star Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie. Shang-Chi will focus on the titular character, Shang-Chi, who devotes his entire life to bringing down his father’s criminal empire. Feige confirmed at Comic-Con that The Mandarin, the villain who was supposed to appear in Iron Man 3 but ultimately did not, will appear for real this time in Shang-Chi. Marvel is working with director Destin Daniel Cretton on the project, best known for his critically acclaimed film Short Term 12. Simu Liu, best known for his work on Canadian comedy series, Kim’s Convenience, is set to play Shang-Chi. But the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t just movies anymore — Disney’s forthcoming streaming service, Disney+, will feature several ongoing projects, like Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, Hawkeye, and What If...?. Feige and his team went into some more detail about a couple of shows, including Loki. The show will follow the character after he escaped with the Tesseract in 2012 — something that only happened thanks to Avengers: Endgame. The version of Loki played by Hiddleston appears to be one that didn’t experience the events of several films, like Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. The show will premiere on Disney+ in spring 2021. Unlike the existing entries in the MCU, where there was a major divide between the film and television properties, it looks as though the stories will fit together closely, with projects like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier picking up after Avengers: Endgame, Hawkeye exploring some of the character’s time as Ronin, and with the events in WandaVision leading right into Doctor Strange 2. Feige and Disney CEO Bob Iger previously said the MCU films and Disney+ series would intertwine, and now we know how that looks. There’s a good chance other characters from all of the aforementioned series and films could intertwine in some way, too. That will also extend to the Disney + show What If...?, a non-canon, animated series that presents alternate takes on the existing MCU, like what if Loki had found the hammer of Thor? The panel revealed that numerous MCU actors will reprise their roles for these alternate takes. The Phase 4 slate answers the immediate question about what comes after the franchise that culminated with Avengers: Endgame and Spider-man: Far From Home. Expect more information next month at Disney’s D23 conference.
  4. Audi teamed up with Marvel Studios again, with movie-goers able to expect Audi to showcase its range of electric cars in the movie Avengers: Endgame In conjunction the world premiere of Marvel's latest movie, Audi has released a spot dubbed ‘The Debriefing’ where Brie Larson a.k.a Captain Marvel sits down with a government agent as part of her re-introduction to society after multiple decades away from Earth. The two-minute plus clip is pretty amusing and we shan't spoil it for you readers by explaining it all in words. However, it is interesting to note that the production version of the e-tron won’t be featured in the movie. Instead, the e-tron Sportback Concept, as well as the e-tron GT Concept will be the ones making an appearance. Avengers: Endgame will start showing in our cinemas on 24th April.
  5. “She is more powerful than any character we’ve introduced thus far,” Feige told EW. “So that alone tells you that there’s a reason Nick hit that button at the end [of Infinity War], when he realized that they were up against something far bigger than they had ever been up against before. And having her on your side is hopefully going to change the balance of power in a way that they desperately need.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1BCujX3pw8 Captain Marvel launches on March 8, 2019, the fourth Avengers movie on May 3, 2019, and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5, 2019.

  10. Yahoo : Review: ‘Ant-Man’ is a delightful return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Running time: 117 minutes (~2 hours) “Ant-Man” is a superhero movie set in the shared Marvel Cinematic Universe. It revolves around the titular Ant-Man, who possesses the power to shrink and also talk to insects, and his discovery of a decades-old ploy to manipulate this shrinking technology. It stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man), Evangeline Lily (Hope van Dyke), Corey Stoll (Darren Cross/Yellowjacket), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym/Ant-Man), Bobby Cannavale (Paxton), Michael Peña (Luis), Tip “T.I.” Harris (Dave), Wood Harris (Gale), and a cameo by Stan Lee. For the longest time, I was wondering what “Ant-Man” could show us that we hadn’t already seen in the “Avengers” or even “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Surely it’d just be a rehash of the typical superhero movie, except our protagonist didn’t wield super strength or any sort of spectacular, flamboyant powers? But nope, this isn’t quite what “Ant-Man” is about. It’s about viewing the world through a whole new perspective, and the ability to adapt and make use of those changing circumstances to your advantage — rather than clobbering your way through foes. And it’s a refreshing new perspective to superheroics, given that this is the twelfth instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Highlights Unique visuals and interesting world perspectives Ant-Man’s signature power is to be able to shrink, and the movie shows us how the world looks through his eyes. But because Ant-Man is a superhero, we get to see it through a far more dynamic and dangerous view point than say, “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” would portray it. Ant-Man is not a master of his world, unlike other heroes, and his true power is how he navigates his environment to defeat his foes. And it’s this special perspective that makes “Ant-Man” so unique amongst the other Marvel movies. link: https://sg.movies.yahoo.com/post/124216205427/review-ant-man-is-a-delightful-return-to-the Ma Yee Ren aka Ant-man, standby Shelltox or Baygon .....
