Is sticker type licence plate legal and can pass LTA inspection or the overly enthusiastic inspectors at test centers? Background. The stickers wordings size and thickness and spacing strictly follows LTA standards. Instead of pasting it on a metal plate and frame, it is directly pasted onto the same location where the licence plate is design to be by car manufacturer. That means the sticker is pasted onto the front plastic bumper where the usual metal licence plates are expected to be, same for the rear metal boot licence plate placement location. Don't put yourself in a sticky situation The LTA does not allow vehicle owners to attach sticker-type car plates to their vehicles in place of the standard ones made out of aluminium or acrylic. Recently, I encounter gps problem. I was using Uber driver app, then I added Grab driver app. Both use and would launch Waze as navigation. Sometimes after using for a while, Waze would suddenly freeze, not knowing what to do, like hanged. I then turn on Google Map and it shows the same location problem as Waze. I'm not currently at that location, it was like a few km away. So I suspect Location service has a problem. I had 2 phones, LG V20 and G4, both having the same problem occasionally. Once the problem started, rebooting the phone will fix it, until the next gps "loss" Initial suspect is LG phones, but googling found that samsung phone users also reported experiencing this problem. https://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge/667438-losing-gps-signal-how-can-i-stop.html If you have any experience with losing gps, for no reason, and how you fix it, please share. From the above link, the solution appears to be: 1. Switch off Wifi - Wifi degrade GPS signal. 2. Set GPS to device only, not High GPS which also use Wifi and network. 3. Remove battery optimization for Location Service. For those who use and encounter this during navigation, it can be frustrating, when you have to reboot the phone.

Hi dear bros and sis, Does anyone here have lobang for daily car rental? Just 1 day? I'm looking for a car to drive in to msia just for 1 day as i'm going karting with 3 friends. Sorry if this sounds stupid but I can't bear to drive my own car in. Spend a lot of time cleaning the car and I don't want to attract unnecesary attention with my car. Last time I went in a lot of EG/EKs surround me and try to be funny So this time I just wanna drive in a simple basic car. I went there just 2 weeks ago with a few friends and I thought it was fun so I'm bringing a few other friends this time ( Can't go with the previous group cause their karting skill too good for me ) so I bring along newbies that I can handle hahaha. Also could someone help me by telling me the location of the karting place ( got to travel through some gravel road leading to the track ) so I can key into my GPS? Hi Bros/sis, To be honest, being a new driver means I am still familiarizing myself with Singapore roads. Rainy weathers poses quite a big problem when lane markings begin to disappear either under water or in its worn out condition. Reporting to authorities about the worn out markings can be quite an issue for new drivers like myself who have problems identifying the stretch of road or pin pointing the junction/location. So this will require bros and sis who have more experience to aid in listing out these zones. I do not know if this thread will be useful or even actively used, but I thought might as well just make an attempt to do it and see how it goes since our bros/sis have always been there to answer all my queries. If post(s) starts coming in, I'll contact the authorities again to note the contribution by our community.
