Apparently she is taking up the NCMP post. From her TV appearance the last time, it is clear that giving speeches and thinking on the fly is not her expertise. Maybe her party members can help her write a decent speech to memorize. However, I cringe at the thought of her having to rebut a MIW. Nothing against her personally, but I think she is going to do more harm than good to both her party and the oppo in general. Seriously, will PP even be around the next GE?

Sun, Mar 21, 2010 AsiaOne Yang Lina, a former Mediacorp actress, has died of uterine cancer, according to a report by the Shin Min Daily News. Last seen in 'The Perfect Cut' & 'An Ode To Life', Yang Lina passed away yesterday night at age 47. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer 4 years ago and her condition worsened last year after filming Perfect Cut. According to Lianhe Wanbao, Yang, the elder sister of actress Yang Libing. kept her sickness from the public. She received minimally invasive surgery for her illness but her condition did not improve. The cancer cells spread forcing her to be hospitalised frequently for check-ups and surgery, subjecting her body to great pain. She leaves behind two daughters aged 13 and 18.
