Usually, it won't even come down when I follow closely behind the car in front and it did and I stopped and then it knocked my bonnet. Now has 2 small dent caused by metal and scratch somemore. Heart pain coz new car. Where can I get these fixed without forking out too much? This is a SUBARU Forester. It's such a small damaged, like 2 dots but have to fix coz scratched. Can someone advise? Boohoo... Took car from hubby for 1 day and kena this. Am I sway or what? Or rather, is he sway or what...

Met an irresponsible Lady Lexus driver this morning while ferrying my baby to my Mother place at the cross junction of Mandai Road and Sembawang Road. The light already turned red for a good 3 to 5sec and she still rush OUT!!!! These are the scums that cause major accident on the road! Very similar to the Ferrari case! Luckily i saw the bikes stop and I stop immediately, my view was blocked by the bikes and din't know some idiot would rush out. Next time better wait for a while before moving off from traffic light! http://news.asiaone.com/news/edvantage/river-valley-high-teacher-knocked-down-van-outside-school River Valley High teacher knocked down by van outside school AsiaOne Thursday, Nov 07, 2013 SINGAPORE - A River Valley High School teacher was hit by a goods van suspected of beating the red light near the school gate. Mrs Eileen Pua Jiu Er, 31, a chemistry teacher, suffered three fractures and was sent to hospital, Lianhe Wanbao reported. The accident happened on Tuesday, at a traffic crossing outside the school at about 12.15pm. Mrs Pua had been crossing a road along Boon Lay Avenue, just outside the school, when the accident occured. This morning, Mrs Pua spoke to reporters at the National University Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She said she was on her way home and had just started crossing the road when she suddenly felt something hit her forcefully. When she regained consciousness, she found herself lying on a hospital bed. "I saw the pedestrian traffic light turn green before stepping off the curb," she said. "I am a teacher, and I need to set a good example when I'm outside the school, so I definitely wouldn't cross when the light is still red," she told Wanbao reporters. She suffered multiple fractures all over her body, broken ribs and is expected to take at least a month to recover. Closed-circuit television footage was not able to determine if Mrs Pua had dashed across the road when the light had not yet turned green or if the van driver had beaten the red light. ------ Remember that earlier video - where the taxi jammed brakes after running red lights, and managed to stop before hitting the car? This van was not so lucky... hope the punishment is severe. Gotta teach drivers to slow down at amber and stop at red light; not to save a couple of minutes by running the red lights; but risking harming people.

In my opinion, it would be better if the woman was to be the driver's own mother despite she, jaywalking. The Skyline & Audi were both said to be racing. Kena Stomp liao.' Pardon if it's a repost.

Bring my dog for a walk just now (around 9+ pm). While crossing the road outside change hotel, suddenly hear a loud scream and bang. Turn my head around and saw a female cyclist being knocked down by a white merc cab. Minutes later, more cyclists gather and ambulance arrived. Hope the female cyclist is alright.

I would appreciate if brothers here can give some advice... Recently my father in his 60s was knocked down by a motocycle along a pedestrian crossing. Initially my father saw that it was red light for pedestrians but seeing that there is no vehicle in sight, he began crossing the road using the pedestrian crossing. After halfway across the road, a motorbike in high speed suddenly appeared and sped towards my father. My aged father then tried to hurried forward to finish the crossing so as to stay clear of the road for the bike. However, the bike never even brake and tried to manueveur in such a way that he could speed past infront of my father. In the end, the motorbike hit my father, causing open leg fracture (can see bone) and contusion at the forehead, with black eye and multiple lacerations at the limbs. When the motorcyclist was later asked why he never braked, his reply was if he braked, then he would be the one being thrown off the bike and get injured, so he could only speed along. I dun know what this young motorcyclist in his early 20s was thinking.. maybe he was trying to scare the old man by speeding past by near to him but ended up in an accident? the question is: Other than a routine police report, what should I do with this reckless motorcyclist? Should I sue him? and for what benefits? Note: In term of operation and medical services fees, they are fully paid by a hospitalisation plan (with rider to offset deductibles and co-insurance). So, I can't sue him for any medical bills compensation.

This is a very sad case that I would like to share with you'll. A China FT working for my gf's dad's company was knocked down by a lorry while cycling at night near his quarters. He had been cycling by the side of the road when a lorry's side mirror hit the back of his head causing him to fall and again hit his head hard against the curb. He was knocked unconscious with severe bleeding from the head. The lorry driver was responsible enough to stop and call for help. At the hospital, the China FT fell into a coma and the doctor said that he suffered serious brain damage and would most probably be disabled for life. His father and cousin has flown over here and only recently became conscious but isn't able to talk or move and lost his memory. He would be flown back to China soon via special arrangements. As for investigation by the TP, it is going nowhere as there is no witness. Although they are still investigating, I fear it may be futile. The TP cannot get the China FT's statement as he can't even talk or remember anything and he will be flown back China soon. The lorry driver claimed that he only hit him lightly and the China FT fell on his own and for info he has not visited the China FT once at the hospital. As for compensation and the cost, my gf's dad has kindly paid the hospital fees and the flight cost, 20k++ total, even though the incident happened outside working hours which does not make the company liable. Compensation cannot be claimed on the lorry driver's insurance as it has to be done by the victim and with the China FT's current state, impossible. Social services has also declined to sponsor anything which is a shame. My gf's dad has already done his best to help this worker, engaging a lawyer to sue for compensation would be costly and risky, plus he's is only a small company. Is there anything that can be done here? Just imagine the pain of his parents and he's their only son.

wah, still recovering from shock just now, was driving along kim seng road, just after great world city. there is road works in the middle lane 3. i was in lane 2, a van in lane 1 just slight behind me. as there is a RED traffic light in front, both me and the van and cruising to a stop from 50km/h. when we just pass the road works, suddenly a teenage gal about 20yo out of nowhere dash across our path and she instead of checking for traffic from the incoming direction, she look at the other direction while dashing across! i immediately horn and ebrake thats when she realise she was looking at the wrong direction, she scream and continue her dash across, van also horn non stop. i think i missed her by 1/2 car length KNN, if i have driving faster, i probably have killed her. sometimes, even when drivers are not at fault, when we knock down someone, sure alot of trouble....

Engine stalled on me while reversing and I rammed my Integra's butt into the wall. As a result, paint chipped off and alignment was shifted. Any good place to repair this? Would I need a NEW bumper? (I seriously hope not) Dun wanna go to Kah Motor to repair as I know it will cost a bomb. Any good outside shops that have my paint? Pearl White I think...

A friend gave me a lift today and while reversing into a parking lot, we heard some scrapping sound. Got down to check and found that the exhaust tip had knocked into a thick tree root. A part of the root was chipped off and the exhaust tip was covered with tree bark. He was wondering if this will damage the car in any way? Can anyone advise? Thanks
