http://www.zdnet.com/sg/singapore-and-chin...ard-7000019667/ Summary: The transnational smart card will be rolled out in first half of 2014, and be used for public transport in Singapore and Chinese province Guangdong--in what is claimed to be a world first. The world's first dual currency transport smart card is being developed for use in Singapore and the Chinese province of Guangdong. The SINO Visitor Pass will allow travel in both Singapore and Guangdong. Dubbed the SINO Visitor Pass, it will allow commuters to travel in both cities with just one card, according to a press release on Wednesday. The contactless smart card will be launched in the first half of 2014 by Singapore payment service provider EZ-Link and Guangdong Lingnan Pass Company. The smart card will store both Singapore dollars and Chinese Renminbi. Besides public transport, it will also be accepted at more than 100,000 points in both cities, including retail and food and beverage. Additional functions will be progressively added after the launch such as inter-city top-up features and the integration of e-tickets to hold products such as tourist passes. "This means that in the future, visitors can also gain access to tourist attractions, food and beverage, retail deals and other lifestyle applications in both countries with this pass," said EZ-Link's CEO Nicholas Lee, in the statement.

sharing this info... especially for drivers who change their own oil... Last oil change... N today's oil change... I poured in my usual measured amount (measured with measuring cylinders)... But oil was a lot above H mark... Even after starting engine n measuring with dip stick immediately. So today I seriously thought I didn't do a good job in draining my old oil... Maybe car was not on proper level ground... So when I checked my oil again a few hours after my oil change, I was prepared to drain some oil out... But when I pull out my my dip stick... Knn the yellow handle came off and the metal dip stick fell into the hole... WTF... maybe too many times measure oil level until handle came loose... hahaha... thank god i had a screw driver with a magnetic extendable tip (i bought many years back from a cute mei mei walking ard selling it at Maxwell market)... got my metal part of the dip stick out and fixed it back to the handle and measured my oil level and it was normal... wahhh.. heng sia... lucky i didnt drain any oil out... if not confirm oil pressure light sure come out and god knows what damage i might cause... hahaha... just sharing....

Hi,i'm new here. Visited this forum for a while reading & gaining knowledge for a while.Just few days ago got a shock of my life. Was travelling on sg rd.Was side by side with my friend at a traffic light around town area when a volkswagen van came to a stop on my right,1st lane. Never really noticed as its a van. I rev as i was playing with my friend on my left played with me. When the green light "on". To my surprize, the van actually wheel spin & move off...I and my friend just floor acc but could not even reach it(2 cars length away).OMG...Only to stop side by side at the next traffic light. This time, we were well prepared, thinking to give that van a lesson, but when the green "on" again, that van just jump out & move forward tires screech at 2nd gear i think, lots of black smoke though.I was speechless... Just will like to gain some knowledge about the volkswagen van. Made a search on the net but came out with another caddy model. Not then one i saw half car/van caddy. Its that van really so powerfull? I'm driving a 2nd hand honda civic,0-100km is definetely about 7-8sec..so thet van 0-100km is less than that? volkswagen that caddy possible? Any advice is greatly appreciated, would really like to know more bout that van.Its amazing. Think that van is lowered, but definetely had tinted windows and lots of smoke.
