Hiaz.......after all the reading all the car accident in MCF. Finally its my turn. Ths day finally came. The time was 5.30pm / 05th Feb 2011. Was sending my parents-in-law home from toa payoh to jurong east. My car have already stop at the toa payoh lorong 6 filter lane....looking out for traffic going to the TPY south flyover. Was a good 2 second after i have stopped before the dotted line, until a vios ram us from the back. Pushing our car forward a good car length....right into in-coming cars!!!! Thank god the in-coming car manage to stop in time....orelse...... . i was the driver and FIL was the front passenger, MIL and wify was behind, fully belted up. MIL was ok, but Wify hit the head against the front seat and bounch backwards. Head was in pain but gradually subsided later. I think its called wipslasp ???? (somebody pls enlighten me on this). The other driver was mid thirties and look shell shocked. Keep banging his hand against his head and said sorry. Until i open my car door and showed him my crying wify...his face turn green!!! I immediately said maybe we should call ambulance???? Wify said its ok no need....so didnt call. We exchange particulars. Duno why he didnt bring his driving license, so i wrote down his ic, address, name, contact number. Our car damage dont look too serious and i took a few photos. But he didnt take any photos! Advise me to go repair and claim cash from him. Later on he called and said if claim more than 3k, go claim his insurance. Hold up traffic slightly for about 10 mins and drove off. i manage to still go jurong east and back. Even pass him at PIE towards jurong. Wah kaoz....his car can still move. And without front car plate. This is the first time I am claiming somebody's insurance, so some kind bros please advise me what to do. I MUST REPORT TO OUR OWN CAR INSURANCE FIRST RIGHT ? Car + insurance is under wify's name and im one of the name driver. Our Insurance is Tokio Marine but the hotline in the website is not in use anymore. WTF!!! Office number is not contactable. There is however a list of approved workshop, which i havent tried to call. Should i call any of them and send the car in first ? I assume it will be on monday ? What about wify's possible injury ? Should i go make a police report and bring wify go see doctor first ???? Private clinic or govt SGH or even Mt E ???? Do i do everything now within 24hrs or wait until monday ? i doubt workshops are open tomorrow being a long CNY weekend. MCF bros pls advise.

Sleeping beauties await prince's kiss in Ukraine http://sg.news.yahoo.com/sleeping-beauties...-063153562.html ..It wasn't exactly Prince Charming but one of Ukraine's "Sleeping Beauties" finally got a kiss on the lips as she dozed on a dais filmed by cameras -- though unlike the fairy tale she never woke up. "I'm not sure I would marry precisely this girl, I just was curious whether she would open her eyes," said the young woman who dared the embrace while male visitors shied away. The venue was Ukraine's National Art Museum and the stakes were -- marriage. Visitors at a wacky performance called "Sleeping Beauty" were allowed to kiss a series of volunteer Sleeping Beauties -- but only if they signed an undertaking to marry the woman if she "wakes up". Those reluctant to commit to a perfect stranger were allowed to look at the "princess" slumbering in a white dress in the dimly lit room, but not lock lips. "I'm not ready to kiss a woman on the first date, and it's definitely the first time I've ever seen her," said Oleksandr Dankov, 43, after choosing not to steal a smooch. But "perhaps I'll come again," he told AFP. Yana Krasnokutska, 23, was more daring. "It's a fairy tale, so I was just curious to try it," she told AFP, smiling after kissing the "Beauty" lightly on the lips. The performance was created by Ukrainian-Canadian artist Taras Polataiko, who said he had been working on this project for the last two years. He was inspired by the well-loved fairytale in which a young princess is put under a curse and sleeps for hundreds of years along with her kingdom. She is finally awoken by a kiss from a prince who loves her. The women in Kiev slept in public for two hour-long shifts each day, with a half-hour break between. "The idea behind the project is patience," Polataiko told AFP. "Our people can be patient for a long time. While Beauty is sleeping, the entire kingdom is also sleeping. If the kingdom is to be woken, the Beauty must be woken." Polataiko said that he chose as his Sleeping Beauties attractive women who were also looking for a steady partner. "All the five girls I've chosen are gorgeous, smart and waiting for a true love," he said, adding that he initially planned having only one Sleeping Beauty but ended giving the others a chance too. "We have three or four visitors every day willing to awake the Sleeping Beauty, both men and women," he told AFP. "This isn't a marriage agency. It's magic, it's a fairy tale. No one knows how it will end," said Polataiko. Natalya Bakovskaya, 27, was the first sleeping beauty to do a three-day stint waiting for her prince after her sisters told her about the casting call on television. "When it started, I got really involved in it and felt as if I was in a fairy tale," she told AFP. "I could hardly sleep with all the cameras and visitors on the first day, but afterwards I enjoyed the two hours of the rest in the middle of the day and even felt a kind of drowsiness," Bakovskaya said. She said she did not open her eyes and so never did find her prince, although one of the kisses she received was "especially memorable". Later she tried watching a video of her kisses to identify the young man who kissed her on the first day, but did not succeed. Finally the fairy tale ended with a non-traditional twist as the fourth Sleeping Beauty opened her eyes after a kiss, to find not a prince, but a princess. "I was astonished when I opened my eyes and saw a girl," translator Yana Gurzhiy, 24, told AFP after she decided to open her eyes when she was kissed on the forehead. Ukraine does not allow gay marriage, making it impossible for Gurzhiy to tie the knot with her pursuer, but she said she had felt a connection with the woman who kissed her, whom she named only as Katya. "I believe it is not a coincidence we had to meet this way. She's a very interesting person, so I hope we'll have some kind of professional and creative partnership." A fifth Sleeping Beauty was set to take her place in the performance, which was to end September 9. ..

Was waiting to enter Rocher Centre CP about 20mins ago when I was kissed lightly on the butt by an old merc. I alighted to check and saw the merc just 2 inches from my butt. Nothing wrong so I returned to my car. Feeling uneasy, I got down again to check after moving forward with the queue. This time I could squat and check more thoroughly. Lucky nothing wrong. What pissed me off is, the merc driver didn't even alight to check or apologise. WTF!

Xinmsm report: Thai 'kissathon' claims new world record Seven amorous but exhausted couples smooched their way to a new world record in Thailand on Monday with the longest continuous kiss lasting more than 32 hours -- and kept going. The contestants broke the previous world record of 32 hours seven minutes and 14 seconds set in Germany and were vying to become the last ones locking lips for a prize of about $3,250 cash and a diamond ring, organisers said. "I am glad we could set a new record," said Somporn Naksuetrong, general manager of the Louis Tussauds Waxworks in the resort of Pattaya which hosted the Valentine's Day event. He said he was particularly concerned about one 51-year-old woman and her 37-year-old husband. "The wife is weary but not giving up. She is exhausted but she wrote a note to us saying they will be the last couple. I think they will stay until they collapse," Somporn said. Fourteen couples joined the contest, kissing their way through the night without stopping even when sipping liquids through straws or going to the toilet with their partner. They were forbidden from sitting down -- except when going to the toilet -- or falling asleep. Seven dropped out before reaching the new record. hmmmmmmm................. I am also particular about this couple ....... 51yrs woman & 37yrs husband ..... sure can kiss ...................

if you gently kiss the bumper in front, something like releasing brake slowly roll brake roll brake, and gently kiss the car bumper in front. Assume the following scenarios, 1) totally no scratch, no dent, no visible damage at all 2) very slight scratch 3) slight dent of maybe size of 50cents will the driver in front able to claim from you in any of the above scenario? eg. change bumper, re-spray bumper.

while you are traveling forward, if someone reverse suddenly, rear hit your front, is it possible that he can deny and said you hit onto him? assume no eye witness willing to testify.

http://lite.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/PEK327578.htm Kiss until temporarily deaf... ------------------------------------ The kiss of deaf - Chinese man ruptures girlfriend's eardrum BEIJING, Dec 8 (Reuters) - A young woman in southern China has partially lost her hearing after her boyfriend ruptured her eardrum during an excessively passionate kiss, local media reported on Monday. The 20-something girl from Zhuhai, in southern Guangdong province, went to hospital completely deaf in her left ear, the China Daily said, citing a report in a local newspaper. "The kiss reduced pressure in the mouth, pulled the eardrum out and caused the breakdown of the ear," the paper quoted a doctor surnamed Li from the hospital as saying. The woman's hearing would likely return to normal after about two months, Li said. "While kissing is normally very safe, doctors advise people to proceed with caution," the paper said. The latest ruling from European soccer body had hit Liverpool hard and RB is grumbling now....... Quote from ESPN Soccernet report : Benitez brands UEFA's home-grown rule a 'mistake' Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has laid the blame firmly at UEFA's door for forcing him to leave Sami Hyypia out of his Champions League squad. New rules brought into force this season state that each club must name at least eight home-grown players in their 25-man squad for the competition and the Finland international was left out to accommodate one such place. At least four players much be produced from a club's own Academy with the other places made up of players who have come through the youth system of other English clubs. Liverpool only have Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher as first team members from their own Academy which meant they were forced to add Jay Spearing and Stephen Darby to their 'A' squad. Robbie Keane and Jermaine Pennant filled the second criteria but again they were forced to delve deeper within the club to make up the eight, Steven Irwin and Martin Kelly the players being named. Now Benitez has hit back at UEFA for forcing him to name a weaker squad than is actually available to him. However, the rule was intended to encourage clubs to look to the home transfer market rather than flood a club with foreign imports and if this is the effect it may just have the desired results. Benitez told the club's official website: "Clearly I think it is a mistake. When you play in the Champions League, you need the best players you have on the pitch. It is not about where you are from, it is about the best players. "I would understand if this rule came in for the Premier League, but not for the Champions League. So too, this rules will also affect Arsenal & Chelsea where 80% are foreign players. ManU will be laughing as they have the most home-grown player in ther reserve squad....

Careless and didn't check my mirrors when I reversed into a parking lot with the lamp post in the lot area instead of the usual behind the kerb. Now my rear bumper got a very slight dent and a small chipping of less than a 1 cents coin size. I went to Toyota bodycare and they quote me $375 to fix it... I almost fainted. Any brothers can verify if this price is reasonable or maybe any good reccomendations/alternatives I can look at?
