from CNA : Casino visit limit on financially vulnerable to take effect on 1 June The casino visit limit on financially vulnerable Singapore citizens and permanent residents will come into effect from 1 June 2013. The visit limit, if imposed, will set a cap on the number of times an individual may visit casinos at the integrated resorts each month. SINGAPORE: The casino visit limit on financially vulnerable Singapore citizens and permanent residents will come into effect from 1 June 2013. The visit limit, if imposed, will set a cap on the number of times an individual may visit casinos at the integrated resorts each month. Three types of visit limits will be introduced. A Voluntary Visit Limit means individuals may apply to the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) to limit their visits. Family members may apply to NCPG through a Family Visit Limit to limit a family member's visit. Persons found to have poor credit records or are vulnerable to financial harm due to gambling could have a Third-Party Visit Limit imposed on them by a committee of assessors appointed by NCPG. The committee will evaluate the individual's financial vulnerability, taking into account factors such as frequency and pattern of casino visits, credit record, work situation and information provided by him and family members. Before the committee imposes a Third-Party Visit Limit on any person, there will be an opportunity for the individual to object to the proposed visit limit. link: http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singap...ner/689730.html How would they know a person is financial vulnerability apart from what they had stated ? Only possible way is through Credit Card loan ...

KLP carpark permanetly closed from 24th June 19
kobayashiGT posted a topic in General Car Discussion
It's with a heavy heart we hear the inevitable news that what we've come to know as 'KLP Carpark" will close permanently from Monday. The carpark has been a haven for petrol heads for as long as I can remember and it's a real pity that location will never be uttered again. Very very sad day for some of the car enthusiast Singapore who has fond memories there.- 27 replies

This should be fun, two shows being held at the same time, but at different venues: CEE at Suntec http://www.ceeshow.com.sg/?gclid=CKnr_4e9m9QCFc6FaAodUqIGPQ PC Show at MBS http://www.thepcshow.com.sg/ I wonder if the CEE will have an advantage, because parking should be cheaper, and people will forget it's the MBS, then gravitate to CEE simple because it's the default venue... Anyone going down?

Start date: 26 March 2018 (Monday) End date: 03 June 2018 ( Sunday) Total 10 weeks. challenge 10 km a week (run, jog, walk, crawl), as long as you complete 10 km from Monday 00:00 hrs to Sunday 23:59 hrs each week. Those who can do more, pls go ahead and do more, pls do not stop at 10km. I am planning our start of event run on the evening of 27 March 2018, Tuesday. Location TBA end of this week, please refer back here for updates. Any suggestions on location beside the usual few we had? @adrianli @bancoe, do join us for the run if you are available on the day. @roadrunner2029, @mason016, pls do continue to give us your valuable tips and pointers to help us run better, faster and safer. Anyone else who is interested to join the grp, pls download Strava apps, look for "mcf running club" and request to join, send @ender or Tianmo a note so that we know who you are and can accept your request. we will stop accepting on 18 March, new comers can use the following week to get use to the app, fine tune and warn up before the start of the event. Current challengers pls make use of the 2 weeks to warn up your engines. Thats all from me for now, you guys pls carry on from here.
