Chief of protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Mr Lim Cheng Hoe was suspended on Tuesday and the ministry referred the case to the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) on Wednesday. The Straits Times understands he has not been arrested. Mr Micheal Tan Keng Siong is now acting chief of protocol at the ministry. The Business Times, quoting an MFA spokesman, reported on Thursday that the ministry had received information that Mr Lim, a veteran of 38 years in the Civil Service, had made improper claims for reimbursements, for expenses incurred by him, during some of his overseas visits.

Very high crass chicken if the allegation is true... $2M for 10 sessions. But I don't think it's worth it. Her (.) (.) are small. Maybe that's Bo's preference? http://sg.entertainment.yahoo.com/news/zha...-040200059.html

OK I'm on Kumho 712. Parked the car overnight. This morning will going off, the tire (left rear I think) went "dub, dub, dub, dub...." Damn! WTH is happening! After a while of driving, the sound disappeared into the regular uneven wear sound I am used to. Decided to go to Stamford Tyres to ask for assistance. Tech came out, investigated and deduced that it is a flat spot. So the explanation goes like this. The car was parked overnight since 9pm and I drove off today at 10:45am. It rained last night so the air in the tire pressure dropped. It is cold. The spot where the tire has contact on the ground became flat. As I drove off, the dub dub noise came about because the tire isn't round! As I went on, the air inside expanded and tire pressure went up making it more of less round again. He told me it is up to me to drive and endure or change the tires. I asked him if the Continental EcoContact 3 is in Singapore. Nope he said, so I went away. OK besides this experience. Let me list the brands under Continental. Boy are they big. If I'm not wrong, they can be the GM in the tire world. Barum Semperit Viking Sime tires (pui!) Uniroyal
