Did a interior detailing for $288, but it wasn't as thorough as I thought... first off, some areas were not vaccumed. And I was assured the seats were vaccumed and shampooned, but i still see accumulated dirt in the crevices of the seats. I was told those dirt can't be removed with the detailing package I subscribed to. Which is why I started this topic. Wanted to find out the following. Does dirt accumulate between the seat crevices so long that they became difficult/impossible to remove? it seems the detailing company provided me no assurance that these accumulated dirt can be removed. Do you guys have detailing companies to recommend? Thanks!

Don't call it an electric S-Class. The EQS is a totally different breed. The future of Mercedes-Benz vehicles is almost here, arriving with the all-new 2022 Mercedes EQS. Despite not being the first EQ model to be introduced, the flagship EQS is the first model to be based on the company's modular architecture for luxury and executive-class electric vehicles. As such, designers at Stuttgart were given the liberty to create a totally fresh interior design and experience for the driver and occupants. The cabin's production version is totally different from the EQS Concept, though, so forget that and scroll down to see the bevy of official images provided. The new MBUX Hyperscreen is at the forefront of that design evolution, presented by three large displays under a single scratch-resistant glass that covers the entire dashboard. Of note, the system utilizes eight CPU cores, 24 GB of RAM, and 46.4 GB per second RAM bandwidth. Though not seen in the official images, the base model EQS not equipped with the MBUX Hyperscreen will have a different layout. Common on both, though, is the lack of a transmission tunnel. Beyond the MBUX Hyperscreen, Mercedes said that the EQS is made to be experienced with virtually all human senses, namely visual, auditory, olfactory, and haptic. Yes, olfactory, as the EQS comes with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter that cleans and filter outside air entering the cabin. As part of the Air-Balance Package, the EQS has active fragrancing as well, which comes with a new fragrance called No.6 Mood Linen. In terms of haptic perception, the MBUX Hyperscreen offers haptic feedback that uses force feedback on both the center and passenger displays. There are also 12 actuators located under the touchscreen surfaces, which can trigger a tangible vibration upon contact. Other elements in the cabin that excite the sense of touch are the materials used and knowing Mercedes, you know what to expect. Obviously, the eyes are among the primary focus of the EQS's interior design. Apart from the visual play on textures, a play on ambient lighting has been employed in the entire cabin. The door panels, on the other hand, are said to be borrowed from the interior design of modern living spaces. Interestingly, the needles on the digital gauges show a laser sword effect. Auditory stimulation starts even before the driver and passengers enter the 2022 EQS, with sounds greeting them as they approach and enter the vehicle. Apart from the 15-speaker Burmester surround sound system, there are two soundscapes that come standard with the vehicle called Silver Waves and Vivid Flux, while driving sounds, which change depending on the driving mode and other dynamic inputs from the driver, are optional and produced by interior speakers. More importantly, the EQS is available with soothing sounds called Forest Glade, Sounds of the Sea, and Summer Rain that can be selected during stop-overs to promote relaxation. In other words, Mercedes wants you to recharge your body as you recharge the EQS's battery. Speaking of charging, while not mentioned in the recent lengthy press release, Mercedes announced before that there will be 500,000 supported Mercedes Me Charge locations worldwide, including over 200,000 of those being in Europe. The EQS will also have a range of over 435 miles (700 kilometers) in the WLTP test. The 2022 Mercedes EQS will be launched in Europe this August. We'll know more details by then, but we know that it will be built alongside the S-Class and Maybach S-Class in the carbon-neutral "Factory 56" at the Sindelfingen plant.

NO IT IS NOT ABOUT THE GRILLES... So I drive an older model BMW, the old NBT evo era. Very dinosaur compared to the Audi virtual dash generation which already a few years old. Pics of the new 1/3 etc interior look much better leh. Kaypoh, went down to PML, near the entrance are the cheaper 1/2 series. Sat inside, like much nicer than my little car. But wait... Whaddafug, they changed the 8 individual memory buttons into ONE SINGLE piece. When press the whole long strip moves, feel so cheapo. TMD must be base model cost savings, surely the 3 not like dis. Go to the 3, walan eh, still 1 piece, even the drive mode select is now 1 single piece trying to look like 3 instead of individual or rocker style button. Press liao feel so cheapo. TMD, leave the peasant section go 2nd floor for the higher bracket models surely better hor. Go 2nd floor, ignore the M135 walk straight to 8 series. Whaddafug, its the exact same piece from the 1 series. And the cubby hole cover, is really taobao plastic quality. This penny pinching cost saving culture is really spoiling the whole 'premium car' experience.

Hi everyone, I just want to ask for your feedback. My friends and I are working with STA and we wanted to know what you guys think if we open an interior car vacuum extraction + steam cleaning service + disinfection centre there. The price is $280 per car to do: Dry and wet vacuum, steam clean, and disinfection. PLUS, we throw in 1 free STA inspection and 1 year Aviva personal accident insurance coverage worth $180. Will you all want to come to our place to get your car interior cleaned? If there is overwhelming interest from here, then my friends and I will get it started 😉!

Hi guys, Do you know if there is a way to get rid of such stains/scratches? I think it’s caused by the metal catch of the safety belt for the first picture. As for the second picture, I think it’s some erosion due to sweaty hands near the handle?

Good Day People, Just sharing... https://www.google.com.sg/search?q=sticker+bomb+car&dcr=0&sxsrf=ACYBGNQMV8y4L2qFbX2CwD67YRrfJ8_I6g:1574912008306&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi31bq2_IvmAhUOOSsKHU4OADkQ_AUoAXoECA0QAw&biw=1366&bih=654 Just a random thought of using sticker bombs for a) Scratch body panels b) Car interior Perks of doing includes a) covering scratch in a cost effective way. Though may need to apply clear coat protection to prevent sticker fly away or faded. b) Spruce up interior in a unique way Cons includes a) Messy looks b) If need desticker is maybe alot of sticky residue Me personally is thinking of trying to cover some unsightly scratches on left and right fenders of the car.

As someone from low income background, I never pay attention to Mercedes cars throughout my growing up years. My first glimpse of a Mercedes car was when I went my classmate's house when I was primary 1 and saw this beautiful car with pointed star outside his house, and also saw washing machines and big television and a lot of loose change in his house. Strangely I did not feel bad about myself then, though I did feel bad about myself after a few years when I became aware of this social divide and recalled this incident haha.. Ok fast forward to now. Recent years I can't help but notice that Mercedes cars look alike internally especially the front part around the dashboard and the door knobs. It is about almost the same look, from the lowly A class to the mighty S class with the same design language. I know nowadays the design will propagate from S class to A class upwards then to all the other models progressively. I attach a few pictures to illustrate the point. There are slight differences with a few car models as they are undergoing slight facelift, and expected to be the same when they undergo full model change later. Has it always been like that? I have not seen other car makers adopting such a approach, so extensively. Frankly after seeing a few, I really have no appetite for another Mercedes if it looks the same despite external differences. Please share your comments if you have anything on this. Rest assured I am not talking bad about Mercedes cars. I admire this company a lot. Cheers

My previous car the roof interior is canvas like material, so can be clean easily with wet cloth when I cleaning my car interior. But my current car the roof interior is carpet or fur like material, have not touch it since I got my car more than a year ago... Anyone can advise how you clean/maintain your car roof interior for those carpet/fur like material? I sometime drives with the window down, so worried carbon/soot from vehicle exhaust will cling onto the roof interior... Thanks.

Hi guys May I check how long after receiving a new car, should I do up polishing/waxing/sealant etc....? Should I wait a few months and enjoy the stock condition first, or straight away protect the car? Any recommended shops for these items? And any other items I should be looking out for to look after the exterior and interior? All comments welcome! Thanks!
